Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey Inactive Vs. Panthers
Ramsey will miss another game for Jacksonville, which slightly upgrades the Panthers passing game.
As reported by: John ReidSteelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster is Active Today Against the Ravens
Smith-Schuster will take the field today vs. the Ravens, who have been vulnerable through the air in 2019. Smith-Schuster is affordable across the industry, but is a tough sell as a tournament play because the Steelers are likely to be conservative on offense again with Mason Rudolph under center.

As expected, McLaurin will suit up today at home vs. the Patriots.

Edelman was never in real danger of not suiting up today, especially since he played last week. With Ben Watson and Rex Burkhead out, the Patriots could elect to play more 11 personnel, which would mean more snaps for Edelman. Although the Patriots still have a ton of capable weapons on offense, Edelman is a viable tournament option nonetheless because his team has the highest implied total of any on the main slate at 28.75.

It will be very interesting to see how the drama in Minnesota this week ensues on the field in New York today, and we can safely count on Diggs being part of it. He and Adam Thielen have historically dominated targets in the passing game as teammates, and many DFS players are buying into the narrative that the Vikings will air the ball out more. The matchup couldn’t be much better vs. a Giants team that ranks near the bottom of the league in several passing and receiving metrics defensively. Diggs, who is cheaper and will likely be lower-owned than Thielen, makes for a nice pivot off of Thielen in tournaments or an intriguing pairing with Thielen and Kirk Cousins in a game stack.

Without the Raiders’ best receiver on the field in London today, he projected 24% target share will likely be divided among J.J. Nelson, Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller, Marcell Ateman, Trevor Davis, and Keelan Doss. Against the elite Bears defense, all but Waller are thin DFS options for this weekend.

The Chargers have a nice implied team total of 25.5 against the winless Broncos. With Keenan Allen likely seeing his toughest matchup yet against CB Chris Harris, some of his targets could be funneled to the outside. Williams was a touchdown machine in 2018 and makes for an interesting tournament pivot off of a much higher-owned Keenan Allen.

With Stills likely out, second-year slot receiver Keke Coutee directly benefits against the Falcons in what is the game DFS players are targeting most heavily on the main slate. With Coutee’s price close to the minimum and his ownership potentially under 5% across the industry, he is a solid GPP option in game stacks. He is projected a 15% target share and already has been a slate-breaker once in his young career (2018 vs. the Colts).

Watkins was a late addition to the injury report after practicing Wednesday and Thursday. He is expected to play on Sunday Night Football and is a solid option for contests that include this game.
Though Watkins has disappointed since his monster Week 1 performance, he is projected a 24% target share against a Colts team that is 24th in DVOA vs. the pass and ravaged in the secondary with injuries. Watkins is a great point-per-dollar option on FanDuel and Fantasy Draft and will be a popular play in Showdown contests tonight.

Williams is likely to return tonight from injury, but LeSean McCoy and Darrel Williams have proved more than capable in Williams’ absence. This RBBC is a situation to avoid because we don’t know how much time Williams will get on the field, but Showdown players are going to have to take some shots on these guys due to the Chiefs huge implied total and projected game script as 11-point home favorites over the Colts.

Mack is iffy to play tonight – he is questionable due to calf and ankle injuries. If Mack ends up suiting up, he is strictly a GPP play on Fantasy Draft and full slate contests because he is so game script dependent, and there is a high likelihood he cedes a large snap share to Nyheim Hines if the Colts find themselves in catch-up mode early. The double-digit underdog Colts will try to establish the ground game quickly against the Chiefs, who rank 31st in DVOA against the run, to keep 2018 MVP Patrick Mahomes on the sidelines. Mack would make for an interesting leverage play in Showdown tournaments since the public will be so high on the Chiefs offense, which has a whopping 34-point implied team total.

Hilton will likely return to the lineup after missing last week because of injury, which is great news for the Colts. They are going to need to feed the veteran to keep pace with the Chiefs, who are 11-point home favorites. Hilton is projected a healthy 24% target share, and Jacoby Brisset could be forced to throw often if the Chiefs get an early lead, which would translate to a lot of opportunity for Hilton.

Despite practicing in full on Friday, Smith-Schuster will be a game-time decision for the Steelers divisional tilt vs. the Ravens. He is projected for a 26% target share against a team that in 25th in DVOA vs. the pass; however, Mason Rudolph lowers Smith-Schuster’s ceiling. While his stats were solid on Monday Night against the Bengals, Rudolph was not pushing the ball down the field. Although he did throw a long touchdown to Diontae Johnson, that play was a badly busted coverage that fantasy players shouldn’t count on, even against the Ravens and their poor pass defense. Smith-Schuster is a risky tournament play if he suits up despite his cheap price tag.

Even if McLaurin plays, it is tougher to imagine a tougher situation for the rookie to put up points today. The Patriots are tops in the league in DVOA vs. the pass, and McLaurin will likely draw coverage from the elite Stephon Gilmore. On the other side, the Redskins are starting long-time backup Colt McCoy and have an implied team total under two touchdowns. If you are trying to run a Patriots stack back with a Redskins player, Trey Quinn and Chris Thompson are slightly more appealing options than McLaurin and Paul Richardson due to the brutal matchup.

The injury to Jamaal Williams has some fantasy owners excited to play a #freeAaronJones, however, Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur has been vocal about managing Jones’ workload. The workhorse potential is the primary interest in Jones this week since the Cowboys allow just the third-highest rushing success rate and the Packers rank near the bottom of the league in rushing efficiency. Carson’s addition is slightly concerning to Jones’ volume potential, but he still remains a viable tournament target.
