DeSean Jackson Out Week 3
Coach Doug Peterson confirmed that Jackson will miss Week 3. This isn’t a surprise based on the news earlier this week. He did refuse to rule out Alshon Jeffery and Dallas Goedert, despite neither practicing so far this week. JJ Arcega-Whiteside could be the WR to get the biggest boost for the Eagles this week, especially if Jeffery is also ruled out. Arcega-Whiteside played 93% of the snaps Week 2 after just 7% Week 1. He only caught 1 of his 4 targets for 4 yards, but showed potential during a productive preseason and training camp.

Moore is on track to make his season debut Week 3, practicing fully Thursday. It isn’t clear what his role will be in the offense, but he is a big-play threat when healthy.
As reported by: Joe FannMarqise Lee active vs. Titans
Marqise Lee is active vs. Titans after missing Week 2 with a knee injury. It’s looking like he’s going to be on somewhat of a snap count, and likely won’t eat too much into the workload of Dede Westbrook and DJ Chark (even Chris Conley to a lesser extent). Lee is a potential contrarian target for Showdown formats, but he still carries plenty of risk on a team that doesn’t figure to have all that much success through the air.

Jalen Ramsey has been confirmed active for the Thursday night game between the Jaguars and Titans. If he plays an active role, it will make Mariota’s job more difficult. Overall, both the Jaguars and Titans are relatively healthy, with no major offensive skill players out from Week 2.
As reported by: John OehserKeenan Allen (Knee) Limited Thursday
Allen was limited Thursday, but it’s too early to tell if there is a reason for concern. Allen has racked up 25 targets through the first two games, so there could simply be an aspect of resting Allen here. Monitor his status as the week progresses.
As reported by: Jeff MillerJames Conner (Knee), Vance McDonald (Back) Both Full Practice Participants
Conner was out Wednesday, but appears healthy for Week 3, as he practiced fully Thursday. McDonald improved from limited to full participant, clearing the way for him to play as well. Conner will likely see an increased work load given the injury to QB Ben Roethlisberger.
As reported by: Pittsburgh Steelers Other tagged players: Vance McDonaldLeSean McCoy (Ankle) Limited in Practice, Damien Williams (Knee) Out
McCoy was able to practice after sitting out Wednesday’s practice, giving him a good chance to play this week. Damien Williams is looking unlikely to play, as he has missed both practices so far this week. Darwin Thompson will see some touches if Williams is out.

Golladay is coming off a big game in Week 2 and now has a matchup with the Eagles, who have allowed the 2nd-most points to WRs so far this year. The matchup is not the only reason to be all over Golladay this week, but he’s been a monster in both production and volume to start the year. Golladay is 4th amongst WRs in air yards, leading the Lions in both targets and air yards, Golladay is set to be a high upside play this week against the Eagles.
Mid Tier RB with Monster Usage
Marlon Mack has some injury issues that we have to monitor, but as of now, he is still expected to play. If he does play, we can expect him to continue to see another big workload. With Brissett under center this year, the Colts are running the ball at a rate 14.46% higher than last season with Andrew Luck at QB. This has lead to the Colts being the 4th-most run-heavy team in the league despite seeing any real blowouts unlike the three teams ahead of them in run percentage, the Vikings, Ravens, and 49ers. This offensive philosophy has directly benefitted Marlon Mack. Playing 97% of the teams snaps in Weeks 1 & 2, Mack has received 67% of the Colts’ rushing market share and 20+ carries in each of the two first games of the season.
High Upside WR in a Week 3 Fantasy Gold Mine
Kirk has been a pleasant fantasy surprise along with Larry Fitzgerald and the rest of the Arizona Cardinals offense. The numbers have been incredible for Kirk so far this year – 10.2 aDOT and 203 air yards on 21% of the team’s targets. With Arizona and Carolina currently sitting at 1st and 2nd in terms of pace, this game is expected to be an up and down track meet with lots of fantasy points.
High-Paced Game Should Benefit This High Upside WR
The ARI/CAR game is set to be one of my personal favorites for DFS purposes. Arizona is playing at a season-high pace (21.36 sec per play) with is over two seconds faster than the next highest team, you guessed it, the Carolina Panthers. A game that produces a lot of plays and a very fast pace is tremendous for fantasy purposes. Pace isn’t the only reason to like Samuel this week, as he has produced 259 air yards (33% of the teams total) this season on 20% of the teams target share. The usage Samuel saw increased in Week 2 after a down Week 1 to 42$ of the teams air yards and 25% of the targets. As for the QB change due to the injury to Cam Newton, I think Kyle Allen will fill in formidably. Last year, Allen received a PFF grade 73.2. In just 31 attempts, Allen threw for 263 yards and two TDs. The backup QB should bring ownership down on Carolina pass catchers and I’m not sure it’s much of a downgrade.
Courtland Sutton (Ribs) Does Not Practice
Sutton has been the clear number 2 WR for the Broncos this season, catching 11 of 15 targets for 160 yards. It will be important to watch his status tomorrow to see if it is a serious injury, or more of a precaution by the Broncos.
As reported by: Mike KlisJosh Rosen Starting at QB for Dolphins Week 3
Rosen has displaced Ryan Fitzpatrick as the Dolphins’ starting QB for Week 3. Miami is an absolute mess, so it is doubtful Rosen produces any DFS value. Rosen has appeared in two games this season and completed 8 of 21 passes for 102 yards and 2 INT’s. It’s hard to imagine the Dolphins can play any worse with Rosen in for Fitzpatrick, but don’t expect improvement either.
As reported by: Ian Rapoport Other tagged players: Ryan FitzpatrickGreg Olsen (Back) Full Practice Participant, Cam Newton (Foot) Out
Greg Olsen was a full participant and should be playing Week 3. Cam Newton has not been ruled out yet, but he hasn’t practiced this week and it looks unlikely he can play. Kyle Allen will start if Newton is out.
As reported by: Carolina Panthers Other tagged players: Cam Newton, Kyle AllenSterling Shepard Clears Concussion Protocol, Practices Fully
Shepard cleared the concussion protocol, making him eligible to return to action this week. He was a full practice participant as well, so he looks good to play Week 3. With the Giants other injuries at WR, Shepard should see a significant share of targets from rookie QB Daniel Jones.
