Tyler Kroft Injures Ankle, Status Unknown
Kroft hasn’t been able to play this season, and picked up an injury in practice Thursday. The severity isn’t known yet, so expect an update later this week.
As reported by: Joe BuscagliaJimmy Graham (Groin) Does Not Practice
Graham’s Week 3 status is in doubt as he missed practice Thursday. He had a strong first week, but failed to catch his only target Week 2. If healthy, he can hit value if he catches a TD, but he doesn’t see a high volume.
As reported by: Rob DemovskyMarlon Mack (Calf) Does Not Practice
Mack did not practice Thursday with a calf injury, but he is still likely to play Week 3 unless there is a further set back. He has taken on a huge role in the offense, rushing 45 times for 225 yards.

This was an interesting injury update, as it was posted by Josh Jacobs himself on social media. He is also dealing with a groin injury, so his status for Week 3 is definitely in question.
As reported by: Vic TafurOverlooked Tight End
On a slate where TE pricing feels fairly efficient, I’m surprised Austin Hooper is currently projected at 4% owned. The Colts defense focuses primarily on limiting big play wide receiving options, so by this logic, it gives tight ends more opportunity to do damage. At $3600 on DraftKings, a doable line of 5/50 easily pays off his salary floor, and he obviously has TD upside with red zone targets. The game has a healthy 47 total, so I’m definitely interested in offensive options here as one-offs, but if stacking the game in some way, pairing Ryan+Hooper+WR with Marlon Mack on the Colts side seems like the optimal route.
Insanely Stackable Game
With the way both teams operate their offenses, the Cardinals/Panthers game should feature one of, if not, the most plays on the entire slate. For their target volume, receivers on both sides still seem underpriced for their potential upside. Pairing Murray with two WRs and running it back with McCaffrey and Olsen feels like the most optimal way of stacking five in this game. While Fitzgerald & Kirk are the top Cardinals receiving options, be aware that Damiere Byrd has had 7 targets in each of the first two games and is still just $3000 on DraftKings. Likely to be under 2% owned, I will be making a conscious effort in GPPs to mix him in, especially since the salary relief helps you immensely to pay up for workhorse RBs in the other slots in your lineups.

Brees had successful surgery on this thumb Wednesday. It is still possible he is able to return within 6 weeks, as originally targeted.
As reported by: Ian RapoportBennie Fowler Tweaks Hamstring, Week 3 Status Unknown
Fowler’s Week 3 status is unknown with a tweaked hamstring. He led the Giants with 10 targets Week 2, but converted that into just 51 yards. The Giants are starting Daniel Jones at QB instead of Eli Manning Week 3, so there is increased upside for the Giants’ WR’s.
As reported by: Ryan DunleavySecond-Year Standout
Calvin Ridley has looked great in his first two games, totaling 12 receptions on 16 targets with 2 touchdowns. Matt Ryan seems to really trust him and it’s showing, as after two games he has had 4 end zone targets, which leads the league. I think Julio getting all of the attention from defenses is leaving Ridley with a lot of one-on-one coverage, which could lead to big plays for the second-year WR.
Great Matchup With Tons Of Upside
Marquise Brown makes a lot of sense in this matchup. In Week 1, we saw the speed and big play ability, but he played only 18% of snaps. This past week we saw that number go up to 65%, which was the highest on the team at the WR position, and he finished with 8 receptions on 13 targets for 86 yards. With his speed, teams will have to play off of him, so he should be able to eat if he is getting anywhere near double-digit targets. I think in this game they will need Brown to play well to keep up, so I’ll be targeting him plenty in my lineups.
All The Opportunity
The Eagles look like they could be missing their two top receivers and backup tight end Dallas Goedart. With everyone rostering Nelson Agholor, who is cheap across the industry, Zach Ertz could be a forgotten man. He has had 23 targets in the first two games, tying for 3rd in the NFL, and he definitely seemed like Wentz’s number 1 option in their last game, as he saw 16 of those targets. With all of the injuries, I see no reason why he can’t have double-digit targets again in this matchup.
David Njoku (Wrist) Could Require Surgery
Njoku suffered both a concussion and a wrist injury Monday night of Week 2. He might end up needing surgery for the wrist, and his timetable for returning is unknown. Demetrius Harris would be the next TE in line, but he is not much of a receiving threat, with 58 catches in 73 career games. Ricky Seals-Jones could see an increased role in the offense.

Johnson picked up the wrist injury during the Week 2 game, but was able to return. Given his full practice status today, expect him to play his normal snap count Week 3.
As reported by: Scott BordowDamien Williams (Knee), LeSean McCoy (Ankle) Do Not Practice Wednesday
There were early indications that McCoy was going to try and practice, so this is bad news for his Week 3 status. If neither RB can play, Darwin Thompson and De’Anthony Thomas would handle the RB duties Week 3. Either way, expect the Chiefs to be fine offensively, as they are loaded with weapons at WR and TE.

Conner said Wednesday that he expects to play Week 3, despite missing practice. At this point, he doesn’t appear at risk to miss the upcoming game, but it is worth monitoring his status for the rest of the week.
