Dontrell Hilliard (Concussion) Out Monday Night
Hilliard is out Monday night as he continues to recover from a concussion. His role is mainly in returns, although he did vulture a TD last week on his only carry. That makes Nick Chubb, Elijah McGuire and D’Ernest Johnson slightly better plays.

Brees torn a ligament in his throw hand’s thumb, requiring surgery. He is expected to be out at least 6 weeks. He has played at least 15 games for 15 straight seasons, so this is new territory for Brees and the Saints. Teddy Bridgewater was signed as the highest paid backup QB in the NFL and will step in for Brees. Bridgewater completed 17 of 30 passes for 165 yards with 0 TD’s and 0 picks after taking over for Brees Week 2.

Falcons RB Brian Hill is inactive for tonight’s game vs. the Eagles. Philadelphia allowed just 28 yards on 13 carries to Washington in Week 1, but Vegas expects some scoring in this game with the O/U set at 51.
Ito Smith surprised fantasy players by outsnapping Devonta Freeman 38 to 36. While this may have been due to game script, it is concerning for Freeman’s prospects. Both Freeman and Smith are viable options in Showdown contests and prime time hammers, although Smith is preferred because he is the cheaper option.

Bears TE Trey Burton will suit up today in Denver. QB Mitchell Trubisky completed only 57.8% of his passes against the Packers to kick off the 2019 NFL season, and the matchup for the Bears won’t be any easier on the road against an elite defense. Burton is a viable option in afternoon-only GPPs with the potential to be heavily targeted against the Broncos, who just gave up seven catches for 70 yards to Raiders TE Darren Waller last week.

Steelers WR Juju Smith-Schuster is playing in an excellent bounce-back spot against a Seattle team that just allowed 418 yards to Andy Dalton. Seattle is also without two of their top defensive linemen. Smith-Schuster makes for a great play in all formats for DFS.

Seattle was without Ansah last week, but losing Ford is another big blow to its defensive line. James Conner should have bigger holes to run through today than the Bengals did against the Seahawks in Week 1 when they allowed just 34 yards on the ground.

Coutee should resume his normal duties in the slot against Jacksonville today. He is tournament viable against a banged up Jags secondary, but is a risky play because of the presence of newly acquired Kenny Stills and potential bad game script for the Texans pass catchers.
