WR's Quincy Enunwa and Jermaine Kearse Ruled Out

WR Quincy Enunwa, Jermaine Kearse have been ruled out for the last game of the year, paving the way for more Robby Anderson this week in DFS. Over the last 2 games, Anderson has recorded 16 receptions on 24 targets for 236 yards and 2 TD’s.

Lamar Miller Ready to Play Sunday

Bill O’Brien on Lamar Miller: ‘He’s good to go”. He will be a mediocre option on Sunday with so much value already on the board at the RB position and sharing some snaps with Alfred Blue.

Odell Beckham Jr. is likely out for Sunday’s season finale

Beckham being out comes as expected. This means more targets for Sterling Shepard, Evan Engram and even Saquon Barkley.

Patrick Mahomes

Stroll Down #NarrativeStreet

With plenty of value available in Week 17 I want to pay up for safety at the quarterback position. Mahomes has been the most consistent fantasy commodity at the QB position by a wide margin this season and he easily projects as the top overall option at the position in Week 17. Mahomes has the perfect combination of motivation (Chiefs playing for AFC No. 1 seed) and matchup (Raiders rank 31st in pass DVOA). It’s not necessary but you can even take a stroll down #NarrativeStreet for this one as Mahomes is currently listed as a -230 favorite to win MVP and a huge regular season grand finale would all but lock him up for the award.

Chris Godwin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Underpriced for Expanded Role

A ten target, one reception performance followed by a tough matchup against the Ravens that resulted zero catches, and a three catch Week 16 game with DeSean Jackson back has kept Chris Godwin’s price tag suppressed for a posh home matchup against a Falcons defense that ranks 29th in pass DVOA. As of Thursday, Jackson has yet to practice and is looking unlikely to play in Week 17 which solidifies snaps for Godwin who is simply underpriced should he in fact see an expanded role with Jackson inactive on Sunday.

Antonio Brown

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
12/27/18, 5:06 PM ET

Antonio Brown (knee) doesn't practice again Thursday

Brown missed practice for the second consecutive on Thursday due to a knee issue, which is worth monitoring since his nonparticipation in Wednesday’s session was originally classified as a coach’s decision. His status for Sunday’s matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals could hinge on how much he is able to do in Friday’s practice, as the team reportedly would like Brown to get significant work in before they feel comfortable clearing him to play in this week’s game. If Brown is unable to suit up, Juju Smith-Schuster would become one of the chalkiest wide receivers on the slate considering he already has a 27 percent target share in the Steelers offense and draws a plus individual matchup versus this leaky Bengals secondary.

Quincy Enunwa

New York Jets
12/27/18, 3:07 PM ET

WRs Quincy Enunwa and Jermaine Kearse sidelined again Thursday with foot injuries

Both wideouts appear unlikely to play in the season finale leaving Robby Anderson to see a massive target share in a game the Jets are expected to be trailing throughout, which would force them to pass early and often.

Eric Ebron

TE Eric Ebron (concussion) returns to practice Thursday

The Colts’ new Pro-Bowl tight end now looks like he should be able to clear the concussion protocol in time for Sunday’s play-in game against the Titans. Mo Alie-Cox took over at tight end after Ebron was knocked out in Week 16. However, he didn’t record a catch while wideouts Chester Rogers and Zach Pascal both saw an increase in targets. Expect a similar distribution of targets if Ebron is sidellined and the offense is forced rely more on ancillary pieces.

Davante Adams

Los Angeles Rams
12/27/18, 2:03 PM ET

WR Davante Adams (knee) not practicing Thursday; WR Randall Cobb (concussion) returns

It’s still believed to be another rest day for Adams, so the Packers should now have both of their veteran wideouts available in Week 17 where the Packers boast a 27-point implied team total. Additionally, Adams needs 134 yards to eclipse the Packers receiving record, and interim coach Joe Philbin has been quoted saying “we’re going to certainly attempt to get him the ball, without a doubt” in Sunday’s season finale.

Kenny Golladay

New York Giants
12/27/18, 1:52 PM ET

WR Kenny Golladay (chest) returns to practice Thursday

The Lions wideout is on track to play in the season finale after seeing 15 targets in Week 16, but only for 58 yards. He’ll look to connect on a larger percentage of those targets this week, though the Lions are only projected for 18 points on the road in Green Bay. Nonetheless, he’s still in play as a tournament option.

Jordan Reed Officially Out for Week 17

Washington placed TE Jordan Reed and QB Colt McCoy on their Reserve/Injured list. We will now wait on the status of Vernon Davis. If Davis is active, perhaps he flashes signs of the old Vernon Davis and has a nice game. If he is inactive then we can get access to a cheap Tight End who will see the majority of the snaps. Stay tuned

Spencer Ware Back at Practice

Spencer Ware returned to practice for the Chiefs today, signaling a possible return to the lineup for Week 17 in a meaningful game for Kansas City. His return would create a split time log jam that couldn’t be trusted in DFS.

Teddy Bridgewater to get extended minutes Sunday

In an interview Drew Brees said: “I’m excited for him,” Brees said, via the team’s official website. “I think there’s no doubt he’s going to get some playing time”. So it appears as though Brees will be limited and Bridgewater will get snaps. This means you can scratch Brees off of your list of QB’s this week, as you typically don’t want to roster QB’s that might only play a handful of snaps.
