QB Sam Darnold and WR Robby Anderson listed as questionable for Sunday
Darnold got in limited practices all week while Josh McCown was removed from the injury report on Friday so it’s still unclear which QB will start on Sunday. Regardless, the Jets offense is only implied for 16 points at Tennessee this week and may be without WR Robby Anderson so both QB’s should be avoided. Anderson is down to $3,500 on DraftKings and should be in tournament consideration at that price if he plays, particularly if McCown starts.

Amendola was optimistic he would play this week, though wideout Isaiah Ford was promoted from the practice squad after the veteran receiver suffered a knee injury in Week 12’s late loss to the Colts. He leads the Dolphins in targets and would leave more opportunity to the likes of Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker if he’s ruled out on Sunday. However, they face a Bills team boasting one of the top pass defenses in the league.

The Giants TE1 will sit out after injuring his hamstring in Week 12 and not practicing all week. Rhett Ellison turned in 77 yards on 6 targets in Engram’s absence on Sunday and could be a deep tournament option.

Chris Godwin who’s been productive on limited snaps alongside Jackson, will now be locked into 3-WR sets for a projected shootout. He’s only $3,900 on DraftKings this week and makes for a solid value option at the receiver position.

If you’re looking for a long shot play for large field tournaments, Theo Riddick is your guy this weekend. This game has a 55.5-point total and I think it ends close to 60-64 points. Kerryon Johnson has yet to practice this week and is doubtful to play against the Rams. While Blount could steal some red zone work, Riddick will be used in the passing game. Since returning from injury in week 9, Riddick has at least six targets in all four games, and has at least five catches in those games. He semi disappointed on Thanksgiving, but don’t forget the play he was tackled at the two-yard line. If he scores that touchdown, he would likely be chalk this weekend. The Rams are going to put up points, so I’m hoping we see a lot of back and front here with the Lions.
This Run Defense Is Not Good
I really love Aaron Jones and Phillip Lindsay this weekend. Arizona ranks 21st in DVOA against the run, and they’re allowing the third most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. They’ve allowed over 100-yards rushing in eight of 11 games this season. They’ve also allowed at least one rushing touchdown in eight games this season. Jones has double-digit carries in five straight games, and he’s scored at least one rushing touchdown in four of those five games. Green Bay has to win out and have a lot of things happen for them to make the playoffs, look for them to make a statement this weekend against Arizona.
Sneaky Spot
The Patriots have two really solid corners in Jason McCourty and Stephen Gilmore. They use Stephon Gilmore to shadow a lot, and he should shadow Stefon Diggs this weekend. If Thielen plays, he should see a lot of Jason McCourty in the slot. I really think this opens the door for Kyle Rudolph to have a big week. I’m not going to fade either of the top end receivers, but I will be overweight on Rudolph. He hasn’t scored a touchdown since week 3, and he’s only had double-digit fantasy points in two of 11 games this season. With that said, he has a 31% end zone target share, which is the third most among tight ends this season. New England allows the fourth most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends.
Let's Hope He Stays Low Owned
It’s really ugly for the Raiders at this point of the season, but they’re likely going to be trailing this entire game. Cook had five targets and both running backs had four targets each in week 12 against Baltimore. Ateman had ten targets in that game but was only able to catch three of them. He’s played 100% and 87% of the snaps in his first two games and had really tough matchups against Patrick Peterson and Jimmy Smith. He gets to face a Kansas Chiefs defense that allows the fifth most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. We’re projecting him to have pretty low ownership this weekend, and I hope he continues to fly under the radar.
Low Owned With A High Team Total
Seattle has a 28-point implied team total this weekend, yet no one is talking about Tyler Lockett. Lockett is averaging 12.2 yards per target this season, which is the second highest among all wide receivers. He also has eight touchdowns this season, which is the fourth most among wide receivers. With Doug Baldwin mostly in the slot, Lockett should draw Ahkello Witherspoon for most of his routes. Whiterspoon has been targeted an average of 6.9 times per game this season, and quarterbacks have a quarterback rating of 111 when targeting him.
NEW TONIGHT! FanDuel has launched a Second-Half NFL contest for the Cowboys/Saints game
Here’s what you need to know; this is a limited roster contest, with users picking from five players of any position with one player designated as the team Captain, who earns 1.5X the fantasy points. The Cowboys currently hold a 10-0 lead as we near the end of the first quarter, but how long can they hold this New Orleans vaunted offense in check? It’s worth noting that the Saints will receive the second half kick-off.
Head to the FanDuel lobby NOW to get in on the action as this contest is already more than halfway full!

Tommylee Lewis, Brandon Marshall inactive for TNF
Tommylee Lewis and Brandon Marshall are inactive for the Saints this evening. Marshall’s status isn’t really surprising, and Lewis’ status makes some sense with Tre’Quan Smith back active after sitting out on Thanksgiving night. Keith Kirkwood should slot in behind Thomas and Smith as the #3 WR, but that doesn’t tend to lend itself to much volume in this offense so he’s just a dart-throw for Showdown slates. The Saints have been tougher on outside WRs this year, which doesn’t bode all that well for Smith, who has had most of his big performances at home this year. Michael Thomas should bounce back after a slow Week 12. Dallas will be without their top OT Tyron Smith, which is not going to help Dak’s cause by any means and does make the Saints D/ST unit a slightly more appealing play.

Pierre Garcon (knee) logged a limited practice Thursday for the 49ers. Garcon hasn’t played since Week 9 due to a knee injury but appears on track to return this week against the Seahawks. Garcon’s return would limit the upside of fellow wideouts Dante Pettis and Kendrick Bourne. Keep an eye on Garcon’s practice status heading into the weekend to ensure he doesn’t suffer any setbacks, as this has been an injury-plagued season for the veteran wideout thus far.
Marquise Goodwin misses Thursday's practice due to personal reasons
Marquise Goodwin misses Thursday’s practice due to personal reasons. It’s unclear what is going on, but he’s had a few cryptic tweets that suggest something relatively serious is going on in his life. It’s also not clear if he’s going to be able to return by Sunday, and if he needs to miss more time, Dante Pettis is the main beneficiary and he’d step onto the DFS radar in that scenario. We’ll continue to update this one as the week wears on.

Gus Edwards (ankle), Alex Collins (foot), Joe Flacco (hip) all limited in practice Thursday for the Ravens. Baltimore is dealing with a banged-up backfield and given that Collins sat this past weekend, it would be a big positive if he can get more work in tomorrow. Edwards has performed admirably in his first two extended looks, rushing for at least 100 yards in each game and providing with the Ravens with their best threat in the read-option game. Collins is not going to be a DFS option while Lamar Jackson and Edwards are eating up the vast majority of the rushing workload. Receiving backs typically give the Falcons the biggest problem, so Ty Montgomery could benefit in that department.
Other tagged players: Alex Collins, Joe FlaccoCalvin Ridley (ankle, elbow) logs limited practice Thursday for Falcons
Calvin Ridley (ankle, elbow) logs limited practice Thursday for Falcons, but is still fully expected to play this week. He’ll work alongside Mohamed Sanu to help take some defensive attention away from Julio, but that may be tough given that Jones has exploded in the touchdown department after a head-scratching start to the year in that category. That has led to a dropoff in production from Ridley and Sanu, with Ridley’s touchdown numbers falling off a cliff from the early season (there was nowhere else for those numbers to go). If anything changes here, we’ll let you know.
