Adam Thielen

Update: Adam Thielen (calf) limited in practice again Thursday, still in line to suit up Sunday

False alarm! Thielen was limited in today’s practice, but he’s still expected to play Sunday. He figures to step right into his normal role as the NFL’s leading receiver, but one oddity over the last two months is that in games that both he and Stefon Diggs have played in together since Week 6, Diggs has led the duo in targets in every game. Thielen is among the top overall plays at the WR spot.

Randall Cobb

New York Jets
11/29/18, 6:24 PM ET

Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Equanimeous St. Brown (elbow) both limited in practice Thursday for the Packers

Randall Cobb (hamstring) and Equanimeous St. Brown (elbow) both were limited in practice Thursday for the Packers. It’s at least a good sign that Cobb is out there in any capacity, as he sat again last week which has afforded the two rookies extended opportunity alongside Davante Adams. If Cobb returns, it’s likely that St. Brown is the odd man out with Valdes-Scantling maintaining his role, and it’s also possible that MVS could overtake Cobb in some 2-WR sets. We should have a clearer picture of this situation tomorrow.

DeSean Jackson (thumb) and Peyton Barber (ankle) both limited in practice Thursday for the Buccaneers

DeSean Jackson (thumb) and Peyton Barber (ankle) both limited in practice Thursday for the Buccaneers. Given that both are at least practicing at this point, there is no real indication that they are in danger of sitting on Sunday. Ronald Jones has not been able to stay healthy or provide quality play with any consistency, so Barber has maintained a role as the lead back throughout the year and that shouldn’t change in Week 13. He’s still a low-volume option that doesn’t contribute much in the passing game, so you’re praying for short touchdowns for him to exceed value. Jackson is on the GPP radar, but he’s struggled more with Jameis Winston at the helm.

Bruce Ellington

Bruce Ellington (back) limited in practice Thursday for the Lions

Bruce Ellington (back) limited in practice Thursday for the Lions, but he’s still expected to suit up Sunday. He’s playing second-fiddle to Kenny Golladay, but that’s still a much larger role than he could have anticipated having at this point. He’s more or less taken on the Golden Tate role, albeit with a far lower ceiling. He has a tough individual match-up Sunday but is still on the radar on full-point PPR sites.

Vance McDonald

Pittsburgh Steelers
11/29/18, 6:15 PM ET

Vance McDonald (hip) practices in full Thursday

Vance McDonald (hip) practiced in full Thursday and should be a full go in Week 13. He’s still dealing with Jesse James’ presence which does eat slightly into his week-to-week workload, but he’s still on the radar for Sunday night showdown slates. The Chargers are generally tough on TEs and Derwin James’ presence is a big reason why, so this isn’t a smash spot by any means.

Rob Gronkowski

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
11/29/18, 7:02 PM ET

Rob Gronkowski (ankle, back) back on the injury report, limited in practice Thursday

Rob Gronkowski (ankle, back) is back on the injury report, and was limited in practice Thursday. It’s not a great sign for Gronk, but he didn’t miss practice completely so it still seems like he’s a better bet to suit up as of this point. It’s weird to write, but Gronkowski has been overtaken atop the TE throne by both Travis Kelce and Zach Ertz, both of whom are more appealing Week 12 options. If Gronk does end up missing this one, Julian Edelman, Josh Gordon and James White would figure to see their target shares rise.

Tajae Sharpe

San Francisco 49ers
11/29/18, 5:47 PM ET

Tajae Sharpe (ankle) and Taywan Taylor (foot) both practice in full Thursday for the Titans

Tajae Sharpe (ankle) and Taywan Taylor (foot) both practiced in full Thursday for the Titans. Though both players appear in line to suit up for Week 13, neither wideout has had a particularly impactful 2018 season, and neither make for appealing DFS targets Sunday against the Jets due to their inconsistent target shares and performance.

Eric Ebron

Eric Ebron (back) and Marlon Mack (concussion) practice in full Thursday for the Colts, T.Y. Hilton (groin) still limited

Eric Ebron (back) and Marlon Mack (concussion) both practiced in full Thursday for the Colts, while T.Y. Hilton (groin) was still limited. Ebron returning to a full practice Thursday all but ensures he will be active this week, especially the loss of Jack Doyle to IR. Ebron figures to be heavily targeted in Doyle’s absence, and will likely be a popular TE play on the Week 13 slate. Marlon Mack appears set to play as well assuming he clears concussion protocol, as the concussion clearly isn’t limiting him any longer at practice. Hilton also appears in line to play Sunday, but keep a closer eye on his practice status as he appears the most questionable of the three.

Charles Clay (hamstring) logs a limited practice Thursday for the Bills

Charles Clay (hamstring) logged a limited practice Thursday for the Bills. Clay hasn’t played since Week 8, and has done little all season for the Bills, not once managing double digit fantasy points in any of his 7 games played. Clay can be ignored in all fantasy formats.

Chris Thompson

Chicago Bears
11/29/18, 4:11 PM ET

Chris Thompson (rib) expected to play Monday night

Chris Thompson (rib) is expected to play Monday night against the Eagles. Thompson has played in only one game since Week 5 due to a series of injuries, but appears on track to finally return to the field for the primetime matchup. Thompson will have his work cut out for him now operating in a depleted offense with Colt McCoy under center, on the road against a strong Eagles run defense. That said, on the small primetime slates Thompson still possesses some upside as a pass-catcher out of the backfield in a game in which Washington figures to be trailing throughout.

Devin Funchess

Detroit Lions
11/29/18, 4:10 PM ET

Devin Funchess (back) limited in practice Thursday, Curtis Samuel (hamstring) practices in full for the Panthers

Devin Funchess (back) was limited in practice Thursday, while Curtis Samuel (hamstring) practiced in full for the Panthers. Funchess’s return to practice bodes well for his potential for suiting up this weekend, as he was unable to practice Tuesday or Wednesday due to the back ailment that kept him out of action Week 12. He appears to still truly be questionable for this weekend, although a player ramping up their practice participation heading into the weekend is always a good sign. Samuel appears to be good to go for Week 13 as well after practicing in full today. All Panthers pass-catchers find themselves in an excellent matchup this weekend against an exploitable Tampa Bay secondary, and make for interesting GPP targets in a game with a lot of shootout potential.

Stefon Diggs

New England Patriots

Stefon Diggs (knee) not practicing again Thursday; Expects to play on Sunday

Diggs was spotted with a wrap on his knee as he remained out of practice for the second straight day. He came out of Week 12’s loss with the injury but still managed to play his full complement of snaps in that game and was quoted as saying he’ll play in Week 13. Consider him on the right side questionable for now given his reassurances, though Friday’s practice report should be most telling of his status for Sunday’s tilt with the Patriots.

A.J. Green

Arizona Cardinals
11/29/18, 3:15 PM ET

WR A.J. Green (toe) gets in another limited practice Thursday

Green previously said that he would play in Week 13 and back to back limited practices would seem to put him on track for Sunday’s game against the Broncos. The star receiver can always go off regardless of opponent, though he returns to a new QB making his first start of the season in Jeff Driskel and could be less than 100% so expectations may need to be tempered. Tyler Boyd and John Ross’ value should both take a hit as well due to Green’s return and Driskel taking over for an injured Dalton.

T.Y. Hilton

Dallas Cowboys
11/29/18, 2:41 PM ET

WR TY Hilton and RB Marlon Mack return to practice Thursday

Hilton is now on track to play in Sunday’s divisional game at Jacksonville. With Jalen Ramsey possibly sidelined, Hilton may have a lot more upside than usual against the Jaguars despite his career road struggles. Mack still needs to gain clearance from the concussion protocol and appears more questionable for Sunday. If he’s unable to go, expect Nyheim Hines to take over the 1a role while Jordan Wilkins serves as the 1b in a running back committee.

Adrian Peterson

Seattle Seahawks
11/29/18, 2:35 PM ET

RB Adrian Peterson (shoulder) not practicing Thursday

He’s been dealing with the shoulder injury for some time now and should be fine for MNF against the Eagles. The Redskins come in as 6-point underdogs potentially leading to negative gamescript and fellow back Chris Thompson is expected to return so there are multiple concerns about Peterson being productive in that contest.
