49ers activate TE Ross Dwelley from practice squad
The 49ers have activated TE Ross Dwelley from their practice squad in advance of their Monday night game against the Packers. While Dwelley himself isn’t fantasy-relevant, this move is worth noting as it raises speculation that George Kittle (questionable with a knee injury) may ultimately not be able to suit up.
Chris Thompson (rib, knee) considered day-to-day
Chris Thompson (rib, knee) is considered day-to-day due to the injuries. This seems to bode well for his chances of returning to action week 7 against the Cowboys. Keep an eye on his practice status throughout the week as it will give better indication of Thompson’s week 7 availability.
Josh Allen (elbow) considered week-to-week

Quincy Enunwa dealing with high-ankle sprain, expected to 3-4 weeks
Quincy Enunwa dealing with high-ankle sprain and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks. Robby Anderson becomes the Jets top target in the passing game with Terrelle Pryor and Jermaine Kearse also becoming more integral parts of the offense, although Pryor himself is dealing with a minor injury. Andre Roberts could see more offensive snaps as a result, but he’s not anywhere near the DFS radar at this stage. This is still a low-volume passing game without much of a ceiling.
Devonta Freeman, Matt Bryant both expected to miss Week 7 for ATL; Calvin Ridley, Mohamed Sanu expected to play
Devonta Freeman and Matt Bryant are both expected to sit in Week 7. The Falcons take on the Giants at home on Monday night, so we may not have confirmation regarding the status of any of the players listed here, but it’s looking very much like it’ll be the Tevin Coleman-Ito Smith show yet again. The Giants aren’t an imposing run defense and the Falcons should control the flow of this game, so expect more rushing volume for Coleman/Smith than we’ve seen the last few weeks with Freeman down. Calvin Ridley and Mohamed Sanu are both expected to play, but if either can’t go, Justin Hardy would figure to pick up more snaps while the target share for Julio Jones and Austin Hooper could rise slightly.

With a Week 7 bye looming and the Packers installed as healthy home favorites it appears they will be conservative with their WR2 and WR3 tonight. Both Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Equanimeous St. Brown filled in and produced in Week 5 with Allison and Cobb out and tonight’s matchup is just as friendly against a 49ers pass defense ranked 23rd in DVOA. Davante Adams has been one of the most heavily targeted players in the league, a trend that should continue tonight as he’ll be Rodgers’ most trusted weapon by a wide margin with his fellow wideouts missing.

With Austin Seferian-Jenkins on IR, the Jaguars will likely turn to James O’Shaughnessy, who saw most of the tight end snaps once Paul went down in Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys. At essentially the minimum across sites, he could make for a serviceable punt play this week against the Texans, assuming the Jaguars don’t add any tight end depth.

Ridley didn’t return to Sunday’s game against the Bucs but the MRI on his ankle “came back pretty clean” which bodes well for his chances of returning to the field soon and should even give him a chance of suiting up for Monday night’s game against the Giants, given the extra day of rest. His status will be updated as the week moves along.

Adam Gase does not know if Tannehill is a long-term injury. “It’s really going to be about how he feels.”
As reported by: Adam Beasley TwitterMatt Breida Questionable but Could Play Monday Night
RB Matt Breida (shoulder/ankle) has improved through the week and is pushing to play tonight vs. the Packers here in Green Bay, according to the report. As Kyle Shanahan said Saturday, it’ll be a game-time type of decision. This is a big injury to monitor for a Monday Night Showdown slate.
As reported by: Tom Pelissero TwitterSony Michel (ankle), Chris Hogan (thigh), Rob Gronkowski (ankle) and Josh Gordon (hamstring) all active Sunday night for the Patriots
Despite the assortment of questionable tags, Sony Michel (ankle), Chris Hogan (thigh), Rob Gronkowski (ankle) and Josh Gordon (hamstring) are all active Sunday night for the Patriots. None of these come as a surprise, as there was nothing out of Patriots camp to indicate any of these players were in serious danger of missing the contest. Look for all of the regulars on this Patriots offense to be ready to go for tonight’s shootout with the Chiefs, where the Patriots are currently projected for 31.75 points.
Other tagged players: Chris Hogan, Rob Gronkowski, Josh GordonBrice Butler (groin) inactive Sunday
Cowboys WR Brice Butler is officially inactive Sunday due to a groin injury. While no parts of the Cowboys passing attack are particularly appealing options on any given slate, this is especially true today as they square off against Jacksonville and their elite secondary. That said, Butler’s absence may open up a few more targets for Cole Beasley and Geoff Swaim.
Latavius Murray will start in place of Dalvin Cook (inactive, hamstring)
No surprise here – Latavius Murray will start in place of Dalvin Cook, who has been declared inactive due to his hamstring injury. While Murray is locked into a fair amount of carries, he has been ineffective thus far this season even when given the opportunity. Look for the Vikings to primarily move the ball through the air against a Cardinals defense that gave up 349 yards and 2 TDs to C.J. Beathard last week.
Martavis Bryant (illness) active Sunday
Martavis Bryant popped up on the injury report midweek due to illness, but will be active Sunday against the Seahawks in London. Evidently the illness wasn’t significant enough to rule Bryant out for the contest, so expect him to see his usual target share from Derek Carr against an exploitable Seahawks secondary.
Adrian Peterson (shoulder) active Sunday, as expected
Per the earlier report, Adrian Peterson (shoulder) is officially active Sunday, as expected. Peterson will handle his usual early-down duties, with Kapri Bibbs filling in for Chris Thompson in the change-of-pace role. While some might anticipate Peterson’s workload to increase due to Thompson being inactive, Peterson is a risky play as he is coming off of a hyper-extended knee and shoulder strain himself.
