Geronimo Allison (concussion, hamstring) didn't practice Saturday
Allison missed practice all week due to a concussion, which does not bode well for his availability today against the Lions. Assuming he does join Randall Cobb on the Packers inactive list, Marquez Valdez-Scantling becomes an interesting value play as he will essentially step into the WR2 role behind Davante Adams. Look for Adams, Valdez-Scantling and Jimmy Graham to see a heavy target share today if Allison is unable to suit up.
A Sneaky Week 5 WR Target
On a week where there may be more buzz around using the Jets as a cheap DST than using any Broncos offensive options, Emmanuel Sanders finds himself in an under-the-radar great matchup against Jets nickel corner Buster Skrine. Skrine has allowed a massive passer rating of 123.3 on throws his way thus far this season, and Sanders will find himself lined up with Skrine for most of his routes. Especially with the recent struggles of the Broncos offense, Sanders figures to catch the eye of Case Keenum early and often in this plus matchup. Per the FanShare Buzz Tool in LHQ, Sanders is one of the least talked about WRs heading into the slate despite his ideal matchup, and makes for a sharp low-owned GPP play for your Week 5 contests.
Josh Doctson (heel) questionable for Monday night
Josh Doctson is questionable for Monday night due to a heel injury. If he is unable to suit up, look for Paul Richardson, Jamison Crowder Jordan Reed to each see a slight bump in targets, although Doctson wasn’t making a huge impact on the offense thus far to begin with.
Adrian Peterson (ankle) not listed on final injury report, will play Monday night
Adrian Peterson is not listed on final injury report, and will play Monday night against his former team. Look for him to handle the majority of the early down work, and Chris Thompson to handle most of the passing downs out of the Redskins backfield.
Davante Adams (calf) practices Saturday, questionable for Sunday
Davante Adams practiced Saturday, and is listed as questionable for Sunday due to a calf injury. Adams practicing Saturday is definitely a good sign for his availability Sunday after he picked up a DNP at practice Friday. Assuming Adams is active, look for him to see a heavy target share with Randall Cobb inactive and Geronimo Allison in danger of missing Sunday’s matchup as well.
Ted Ginn (knee) OUT Monday night
Ted Ginn has been ruled out Monday night due to a knee injury. Look for Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara to see the majority of the passing targets for this high powered offense, with Cam Meredith picking up a few additional targets in Ginn’s absence.
Alvin Kamara (knee) not listed on final injury report, will play Monday
As expected, Alvin Kamara is not listed on the final injury report and will play Monday night against the Redskins. Though he shouldn’t see quite the same usage level with the return of Mark Ingram, Kamara still figures to be heavily involved in both the rushing and passing attack for a potent Saints offense.
Cowboys place WR Terrance Williams (foot) on IR
The Cowboys have placed WR Terrance Williams on IR due to a foot injury. Look for Cole Beasley and Allen Hurns to lead the Cowboys receiving corps moving forward.
Softer Cap? Go AB84
Antonio Brown’s season has been disappointing thus far catching 29 balls for 272 yards and three touchdowns. Juju has seen an almost identical target share but has been much more efficient with balls thrown his way as he’s caught 30 balls for 405 yards and a touchdown. Both guys are tremendous plays this week but are priced like it. Juju gets the better matchup against Brian Poole in the slot where he’s lined up for 87% of his snaps this year. My heart is still with Antonio Brown but my head tells me that Juju is a similar play in a better individual matchup and is significantly cheaper than Brown. I think both of these guys are in play in cash games but give Juju the slight lean if only rostering one of them.
Juju on That Beat

I’m considering Juju a core play on DraftKings where the salary cap is tighter and AB a core play on FanDuel where the cap is a bit looser.
Jimmy Graham (knee) not on final injury report, will play Sunday
This is great news considering Randall Cobb has already been ruled out and both starting receivers missed practice time this week and are tentatively listed as questionable. Graham is already a top TE target on the main slate, but his outlook would improve even further if either Adams or Allison sit, as Green Bay would be turning to a trio of rookies at WR to fill in alongside Aaron Rodgers. Given that he comes in considerably cheaper than guys like Zach Ertz or Travis Kelce, Graham is the superior dollar per point target. He and Jared Cook are fairly close in terms of upside and salary, but Graham would step ahead if Adams and/or Allison sit.
Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) questionable for Sunday
Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday. This passing attack is completely impossible to trust at the moment – Josh Rosen has taken over under center, but it hasn’t paid dividends yet and it’s going to take him some time to get acclimated to the NFL speed. Fitzgerald hasn’t exceed 30 receiving yards in any of his past three games and despite being the clear top option in this passing attack, he’s not a strong DFS play at the moment.
Geronimo Allison (concussion) questionable for Sunday
Davante Adams and Geronimo Allison are both questionable for Sunday after missing some practice time this week – Randall Cobb has already been ruled out. Adams seems like a slightly safer bet to play than Allison, but both appear to be slightly closer to probable than doubtful. If one or both of them sit, Marquez Valdes-Scantling would step firmly on the DFS radar in all formats. He’s priced towards the bottom of the salary chart on all sites. It was also reported that Equanimeous St. Brown got considerable work with the first-team offense on Thursday with the typical starting receivers banged up, and he’d also be a strong option if two of Adams/Cobb/Allison sat. Jimmy Graham would also benefit.

Alvin Kamara (knee) limited Friday
Alvin Kamara (knee) was limited Friday, but still appears to be safely on track to play. This will be his first week having to contend with Mark Ingram in the backfield, and it’s kind of nice that we don’t have to play that guessing game on the main slate. Kamara still figures to lead the backfield in touches and snaps, but Ingram’s presence could eat into goal-line work as well as some early-down snaps, as the Saints passing attack went more pass-heavy with Ingram on the shelf. Drew Brees has always been a fan of utilizing backs in the passing game and Kamara has been a usage monster in close to this point, so the NO RB situation is one of the most interesting things to monitor this weekend.
