Alshon Jeffery

Philadelphia Eagles
9/17/18, 12:50 PM ET

WR Alshon Jeffery (shoulder) is still week-to-week

Jeffery is desperately needed back with fellow WR Mike Wallace suffering a broken fibula on Sunday and the Eagles currently without 3 of their top 4 wide receivers from the start of the season. Even so, it appears the Eagles are not going to rush their WR1 into action, leaving a massive target share to WR Nelson Agholor and TE Zach Ertz for the time being. When Jeffery does return, he should have a rise in stock with QB Carson Wentz now starting.

Carson Wentz (knee) cleared for contact; Will start on Sunday

Eagles head coach Doug Pederson confirmed that Wentz will make his long-awaited return against the Colts on Sunday. After a couple unimpressive starts by Nick Foles to begin the season, this should provide a boost to a team with an injury-depleted WR corps. Wentz was a top 5 fantasy quarterback before going down with the knee injury last season, boasting some superb efficiency numbers. He should immediately be considered in DFS this week heading into a friendly matchup at home against the Colts.

Mike Wallace Dealing with Ankle Injury

Mike Wallace left Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay with an ankle issue. He was ruled out and now it appears as though the Wide Receiver will be out for an extended period of time. Nelson Agholor is the #1 Wide Receiver on this team and should be rostered as such moving forward.

LeSean McCoy

Injury Issues in a Shady Performance

LeSean McCoy left Sundays game with an unknown rib injury. It was a lackluster fantasy performance out of McCoy before he left. After further testing, there is no fracture and McCoy will try to play through the injury. However the offense around Shady is atrocious and will drag his production down most weeks.

Greg Zuerlein

Zuerlein Hurt During Warmups

Zuerlein was hurt during warmups of his Week 2 game against the Cardinals and missed the game. It was a groin injury and Zuerlein will likely miss multiple weeks. Adjust your rosters accordingly.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars
9/16/18, 3:42 PM ET

Jags DE Calais Campbell active against the Patriots

Campbell being active is bad news for the Patriots, as he is one of the most dominant defensive ends the the NFL. Expect for Tom Brady and the rest of the Patriots offense to have their work cut out for them this afternoon against this stout Jags D.

DeAndre Washington

Miami Dolphins
9/16/18, 3:40 PM ET

Deandre Washington inactive Sunday

Deandre Washington will be inactive Sunday for the Oakland Raiders. It was unlikely he was going to be a relevant fantasy asset to begin with as he has to compete with Marshawn Lynch, Doug Martin and Jalen Richard for touches in the Raiders backfield.

Rex Burkhead

Houston Texans
9/16/18, 3:36 PM ET

Rex Burkhead and Sony Michel both active Sunday

This confirms earlier reports that both Burkhead and Michel would be active for New England today. Look for them along with James White to round out the Patriots backfield in a tough matchup against the highly touted Jags defense.

Jermaine Gresham

Arizona Cardinals
9/16/18, 2:40 PM ET

Jermaine Gresham inactive Sunday

Cardinals TE Jermaine Gresham will be inactive today with an achilles injury. Ricky Seals-Jones will lead the Cardinals in TE targets, and is an interesting play on the afternoon slate.

Leonard Fournette

Buffalo Bills
9/16/18, 2:39 PM ET

Leonard Fournette OUT Sunday

This is simply official confirmation of what has been reported throughout the day – Fournette will not be active for the Jags afternoon matchup against the Patriots. Look for TJ Yeldon to be the lead running back in his stead, and be active as not only a rusher but a pass catcher as well.

Blaine Gabbert

Kansas City Chiefs
9/16/18, 1:36 PM ET

Blaine Gabbert was first QB to work with first-team offense, but Mariota still out there warming; likely that Gabbert starts

Blaine Gabbert appears in line to start Sunday after taking reps with the first team in practice today. This is consistent with Schefter’s earlier report that Mariota was throwing very little in warmups, which makes sense if he was still struggling with feeling in his throwing hand.

Paul Richardson

Seattle Seahawks
9/16/18, 12:00 PM ET

Paul Richardson active Sunday

Despite being downgraded to a DNP for Friday’s practice with a shoulder injury, Richardson is active for the Redskins’ Sunday matchup against the Colts. Richardson lead the Washington receiving corps in targets week 1, although his average depth of target was only about 4 yards downfield. Expect Richardson to see a similar workload today assuming the shoulder is healthy enough for him to give it a full go.

Antonio Callaway

Dallas Cowboys
9/16/18, 12:12 PM ET

Antonio Callaway will start Sunday

With the shocking news that the Browns either plan to trade or drop Josh Gordon on Monday following his last-minute inactive declaration yesterday, Antonio Callaway is slated to start today against the Saints. While Jarvis Landry will still see the majority of the targets from Tyrod Taylor, Callaway has an opportunity to make an immediate impact in Gordon’s absence. The Browns should be trailing most of this game, which means they will be throwing and throwing often against a defense that was picked apart by Ryan Fitzpatrick last week.

DeSean Jackson

Baltimore Ravens
9/16/18, 11:53 AM ET

DeSean Jackson active Sunday

Desean Jackson has cleared concussion protocol and will be active for the Bucs week 2 matchup against the Eagles. It is unlikely that Jackson repeats his performance from last week against his former team, as the Eagles have a solid defense and should limit the upside of this Tampa Bay passing attack. Jackson being active does all but eliminate Chris Godwin from consideration on today’s slate.

Marlon Mack

Arizona Cardinals
9/16/18, 11:51 AM ET

Marlon Mack officially active Sunday

Per the earlier report, Mack is officially active against the Redskins. It is probably best, however, to take a wait-and-see approach with this convoluted backfield in a matchup where the Colts are expected to be trailing. That said, it is reasonable to expect Mack to handle the bulk of the carries today, with Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines being involved in the rushing attack as well.
