A Cheap WR To Target For FanDuel Cash Games
Cooper Kupp’s price tag has not adjusted for the absence of Rams wide receiver Robert Woods. And at only $5,400 on FanDuel and $5,000 on DraftKings, the salary relief he offers lets you pay up at quarterback, RB1, and one or two wide receivers spots (depending on what you decide to do at tight end) in cash games. On the season, Kupp’s 19% market share of targets is second only to the aforementioned Woods (22%). With Woods now out, we should certainly expect some more targets to filter Kupp’s way. And Kupp is the preferred red zone target for the Rams when they aren’t feeding the ball to Gurley. His 15% market share of red zone opportunities is well ahead of any other Rams wide receiver or tight end. Kupp is one of the first guys I am plugging into my cash game lineup across the industry in Week 12.
I Will Take The Price Discount In My Cash Game Lineups
In the Falcons first six games, Julio Jones accounted for a 22% market share of targets. However, in the past four games, his market share of targets is all the way up to almost 31%. The next closest Falcon during that span is Austin Hooper at approximately 17%. And since Julio was unable to find the end zone in any of those games, we now have a perfect buy low opportunity. He is only $7,800 on FanDuel and $7,700 on DraftKings. In Week 12, he gets one of the best matchups possible facing a Bucs defense that ranks 28th in pass defense DVOA. Julio is another great way to get access to the second highest team total on the slate, and I expect him to find the end zone against this porous Bucs defense.
A Cash Game Lock at RB on FanDuel
Tevin Coleman is still priced too cheaply on FanDuel at $6,200 with Devonta Freeman still out with a concussion. With Freeman out in Week 11, Coleman racked up 21 touches. When Freeman went out early in Week 10, Coleman racked up another 21 touches. Over those past two games, he has dominated Terron Ward in snaps (86 to 35) and carries (40 to 15). And in Week 12, the Falcons get a matchup with a Bucs defense that is vulnerable to pass-catching running backs. Coleman is a great way to get exposure to a Falcons offense that has the second highest team total on the slate. Furthermore, Coleman’s discounted price tag allows you to pay up at a handful of other premium positions, making him a lock for my cash game rosters on FanDuel.
Can You Stomach The Risk?
When looking at this slate, I really like the idea of paying down at quarterback. I think Moore is a good large field GPP play this weekend, and I doubt he will have any ownership because of his last start against Baltimore. The Baltimore defense has been good against the pass all season, and I’m willing to overlook that game. He has 14.52 and 15.28 fantasy points in his other two appearances this season. After allowing 300-yards passing in six straight games, the Patriots haven’t allowed over 250-yards passing in each of the last four games. They have allowed at least one passing touchdown per game this season. They rank second in plays per game (67.6), and Miami ranks 27th in plays per game (60.7). The Dolphins should trail this whole game, and they should be throwing the ball a lot. With the bump in pace and throwing the ball a lot, I’m willing to take a shot.
Rams CB Nickell Robey-Coleman doubtful for Week 12
Robey-Coleman has put up some of the best numbers in the slot this season, so his absence would present an upgrade for Brandon Coleman. However, safety Lamarcus Joyner, PFF’s 4th-ranked cover safety, is expected to man the inside corner position. After losing snaps to Willie Snead in Week 10, Coleman ended up out-snapping 52-14 last week. Even so, he only saw two targets and he’s caught two or fewer passes in all but one game this season. Quarterback Drew Brees should continue focusing on Michael Thomas, Tedd Ginn, and his running backs against the Rams. While Thomas hasn’t had any huge games yet – he’s only posted one 100-yard game and two scores this season – he’s been very consistent. He’s caught at least six passes in seven games, picked up double-digit targets in six, and he’s posted between 65-117 yards in all but two games. He’s expected to be shadowed by Trumaine Johnson, who’s given up the ninth-most yards per cover snap this season (1.49, per PFF). Our WR/CB matchup tool gives Thomas the 17th-best rating of the week.

George Kittle removed from injury report, will play Week 12, Trent Taylor, DE Solomon Thomas, and RT Trent Brown questionable
Kittle missed last game with an ankle injury while Taylor was dealing with a broken rib then hurt his shoulder in practice this week. Kittle will face a Kam Chancellor-less Seahawks defense, potentially opening up a decent spot. Austin Hooper wasn’t able to take advantage last week, catching just two passes for negative yardage. Kittle may not be able to either, he’s been held to 46 yards or less in all but one game this season and scored just once. Taylor would likely slip back into the slot, possibly replacing Kendrick Bourne if he plays. He’s only averaged 2.7 receptions per game this season though, so he probably won’t make much of an impact coming off an injury.

Jimmy Graham, T Duane Brown, G Luke Joeckel, and LB Bobby Wagner are all listed questionable heading into the weekend. Despite leaving early in the third quarter, Davis led the backfield with 59 yards against the Falcons Monday night. With Davis down, J.D. McKissic, who’s typically been limited to a pass-catching role, was the primary back and finished with 12 touches while Eddie Lacy saw three. Thomas Rawls is expected to return to the running back rotation with Davis sidelined but it could be McKissic’s backfield against the 49ers on Sunday. While Seattle’s running back group has been completely miserable this season, RBs couldn’t have a much better spot and it appears as though McKissic will see a workload large enough to exploit the matchup. The 49ers are giving up the most PPR points per game to RBs while allowing the most receiving yards and second-most receiving touchdowns to the position. At just $3.7k on DraftKings, McKissic looks like a solid value; he currently projects as our top RB in points-per-dollars but the uncertainty surrounding Seattle’s rotation means he’ll carry plenty of risk. Graham is expected to suit up despite being listed as questionable. He leads the league in red zone targets (22) and looks inside the ten-yard line (13). He’s converted six of his passes inside the ten into touchdowns. Injuries continue to hurt the Seahawks on the defensive side of the ball with Griffin joining S Kam Chancellor, CB Richard Sherman on the sidelines. Jeremy Lane and Byron Maxwell will man the outside corner positions, both of whom have earned bottom-ten PFF cover grades among all CBs.

Jamaal Williams is expected to get another shot as the featured back. He only picked up 3.2 yards per carry last week which is right on par with his season average. He had a sizable workload though, picking up 22 touches and finished with 85 total yards. He’ll have an even tougher matchup this week as the Steelers are fourth in adjusted line yards (3.38, per FO) and allowing the seventh-fewest PPR points to RBs. King (shoulder) and Burnett (groin) both missed last week’s game with but it looks they’re on track to return. Matthews said will be a game-time decision on Sunday but he doesn’t sound optimistic according to Packer Report.

McDonald’s injury will allow Xavier Grimble to serve as the TE2. Mitchell is expected to return from a one-game absence.
Saints CBs Marshon Lattimore and Ken Crawley ruled out for Week 12
This presents big upgrades for Sammy Watkins and Jared Goff. With Robert Woods out, Watkins should see increased targets this weekend and he could be running most of his routes into P.J. Williams’ area. Williams is PFF’s 76th-ranked cover corner and he’s giving up 1.57 yards per cover snap which would be the seventh-most if he qualified. Even with these two, the Saints are allowing 7.0 yards per attempt and Goff has delivered 8.2, the third-most in the league. New Orleans is dangerously thin in their secondary, so they could collapse without their top two corners. De’Vante Harris will likely play and he would be PFF’s 106th cover corner if he qualified and his 0.63 fantasy points per route defended is by the highest of any corner expected to pick up significant playing time this week. The Rams are currently implied to score 28.25 points.
Chris Hogan and C David Andrews ruled out for Week 12, Danny Amendola, S Patrick Chung, CB Eric Rowe, DT Malcolm Brown, and Matt Slater questionable; Martellus Bennett doubtful
Hogan (shoulder) hasn’t been able to practice all week and he won’t play on Sunday. Without his favorite red zone target, Hogan, Brady should look for Gronkowski often in scoring position. The tight end has picked up four targets within the 20-yard line over the past two games but wasn’t able to find the end zone during that stretch. The Dolphins have struggled to contain tight ends this season; they’re 25th in DVOA while they’ve given up the fourth-most touchdowns (0.6/g) and the fifth-most PPR points to the position. Brandin Cooks has averaged 10.0 targets during Hogan’s absence and he should be in line for a nice volume of targets again this week. Miami is giving up the eighth-most touchdowns to receivers (1.0/g) but the 13th-fewest PPR points as they tend to funnel some production towards tight ends. Amendola is listed questionable but he’s expected to suit up. He played 60% of the snaps last week and saw nine targets.

Fuller is dealing with cracked ribs and isn’t expected to play Monday night against the Ravens. Patrick Peterson’s shadow didn’t stop Tom Savage from targeting DeAndre Hopkins last week, he finished with a team-high nine looks and turned them into a 4/76/1 line. It’s unlikely Ravens CB Jimmy Smith, the only corner allowing fewer fantasy points per route defended than Patrick Peterson (0.11, per PFF), will discourage Savage this week. Fortunately for Hopkins, Smith doesn’t shadow, so the receiver will get some run against Brandon Carr, who’s allowing 0.25 fantasy points per route and ranks 47th in yards per cover snap (1.1). Bruce Ellington would continue to serve as the second receiver. He tallied seven looks against the Cardinals and hauled in six of them for 63 yards. Overall, it’s going to be hard to trust the receivers in this spot with Tom Savage under center. As a unit, the Ravens pass defense is much stronger than the Cardinals. They’re second in pass DVOA and holding QBs to the second-lowest passer rating (66.9), third-fewest yards per attempt (6.4), and they’ve permitted the second-fewest fantasy points to QBs and WRs alike. The Ravens are weakest defending tight ends; they’re 31st in DVOA and permitting the 15th-most PPR points to the position. C.J. Fiedorowicz hasn’t gotten very involved in the offense since returning to the team, pulling down two catches in both games while seeing 3.5 targets on average. As a result, he’s dirt cheap at $2.8k on DraftKings and $4.5k on FanDuel, which makes him an interesting tournament option.
49ers S Adrian Colbert ruled out for Week 12
The 49ers have been decimated by injury and now Colbert will miss time due to a thumb injury. With Jaquiski Tartt and Jimmie Ward out for the year and Eric Reid now playing linebacker, San Francisco is running out of people to put at safety. That bodes well for Russell Wilson, who’s attempted the second-most passes 20+ yards downfield (59) and has posted the 10th-best passer rating on such throws. His favorite downfield target is Doug Baldwin, whom he’s thrown 17 deep passes to, but Tyler Lockett (13) and Paul Richardson (11) aren’t far behind. Baldwin will battle K’Waun Williams in the slot, who’s allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per route defended among CBs expected to play in Week 12 (0.38, per PFF) and he’s given up a 79% catch rate.

Aiken was absent last game as he rehabbed a hamstring injury. It appears the bye week treated him well as he was able to practice all week and will be able to play this Sunday against the Titans. He should replace Chester Rogers in the slot where he’ll see plenty of Logan Ryan, PFF’s 35th-ranked cover corner. Ryan is allowing a friendly 0.34 fantasy points per route defended but it’s doubtful Aiken picks up a high enough volume to exploit the matchup – he hasn’t caught more than three passes all season. Simon hasn’t played since Week 7. His return would be a boost for their run defense as he’s the 22nd-ranked edge defender in the area. The Colts are currently 20th in adjusted line yards and giving up the seventh-most PPR points to RBs. DeMarco Murray seized control of the Titans backfield over the past two games, playing 77% of the snaps but he bombed last week, picking up just 10 rushing yards on eight carries. Although he popped off in Week 10 for three TDs, it was a bit flukey and he hasn’t averaged more than 3.3 yards per carry in any of the past five games. It’s possible Derrick Henry picks up more playing time this weekend.
