Brandon LaFell

Las Vegas Raiders
12/08/16, 4:54 PM ET

Browns DB Joe Haden (groin) limited Thursday

Haden was downgraded from a full practice yesterday. He’s been dealing with a groin injury all season, so the Browns could simply be managing his reps. Haden is expected to shadow Brandon LaFell (knee), who was upgraded to a full practice today after being limited on Wednesday. LaFell led the Bengals with seven targets last week against the Eagles, catching five of them for 95 yards and a touchdown. He’ll be their primary wide receiver again this week and will take a small upgrade if Haden misses the game, even though Haden has a poor 50.4 PFF grade on the season. Cleveland, as a team, ranks 31st in WR1 DVOA.

Dorial Green-Beckham (abdomen) doesn't practice again Thursday

DGB appears to be doubtful for Sunday. He won’t be a great fantasy option if he plays with Jordan Matthews, who had a full practice, will be back in the lineup. Matthews has a favorable matchup with Washington cornerback Kendall Fuller, who has a poor 50.6 PFF grade this season. Prior to their Week 12 game, when he wad forced out early, Matthews had received double-digit targets four weeks in a row. Expect a similar volume this weekend, especially if DGB is out; there simply aren’t many alternative options for Carson Wentz to throw to.

Michael Thomas (foot) continues to miss practice

It’s the second day in a row he was held out with a foot injury. Last week, Saints running back Mark Ingram missed Wednesday and Thursday and still played on Sunday, so we’ll have to wait and see if Thomas can practice tomorrow. If he ends up missing Week 14, Brandin Cooks, Willie Snead, and Coby Fleener would all pick up some extra targets.

Theo Riddick

Las Vegas Raiders

Theo Riddick (wrist) returns to practice Thursday

Riddick missed yesterday’s practice with a new injury to his wrist. It’s no cause for concern though, he’ll be ready to play on Sunday against the Bears. The Lions are 8-point favorites, which would normally favor a running back, but he’s more of a receiving back. Riddick has only averaged 5.7 carries over the past three games. Per usual, he has more appeal on full PPR sites. He projects as our RB13 on DraftKings this week.

Trevor Siemian practices again; continues to be in line to start Sunday

While it’s not a given that Siemian will be the starting QB for the Broncos on Sunday, all signs are that he will after taking part in practice for the second straight day (albeit limited). We’ll continue to monitor this situation and report back with any news. Paxton Lynch would get another start if for some reason Siemian is unable to go.

Jordan Reed takes part in individual drills but in obvious pain

While the star Redskins TE is trying to give it a go, local reporters have made it clear that he’s still suffering obvious discomfort with his injured shoulder. His status for this week is still very much up in the air – Vernon Davis would be the beneficiary and a viable low priced TE option if Reed can’t go.

Robert Griffin III

Robert Griffin will start this week for Cleveland

Confirmation of what we expected would be the case as the Browns are turning to their beginning of the season starter at QB. He’s not a viable DFS option right now and squarely puts the Bengals DST on the radar as a DFS option this week.

Falcons optimistic Julio Jones will play Sunday

Atlanta feels like their star WR will play this weekend against the Rams despite not practicing yesterday. They don’t, however, feel as good about #2 WR Mohamed Sanu who appears unlikely to play. Taylor Gabriel and Justin Hardy should have bigger roles in the Falcons offense with Sanu out.

Eddie Royal

Chicago Bears
12/07/16, 7:05 PM ET

Eddie Royal and Marquess Wilson didn't practice Wednesday

Royal (toe) didn’t play last week and seems to be on the doubtful side in Week 14. Wilson (groin) left their last game in the first half and never returned. If they miss this week, Cameron Meredith and Josh Bellamy would be the primary receivers. With Matt Barkley under center, expect the Bears to feed Howard relentlessly. Detroit’s DST is in play this weekend; they’ve forced six interceptions over their last three games and allowed only 15.0 points per game in that stretch. Chicago has an implied team total of just 18 points, the second lowest on the board.

Michael Thomas

New Orleans Saints

Michael Thomas doesn't practice, Mark Ingram limited Wednesday

Thomas was held out of practice with a foot injury, the seriousness of which was not immediately clear. It’ll be important for him to get back to practice tomorrow or Friday. Thomas has had an impressive rookie campaign, leading the Saints in nearly every receiving category this season. Ingram (toe, knee) was limited, which is an upgrade from last Wednesday when he was a DNP. He should be fine to play on Sunday against the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay’s rush defense has been excellent recently, allowing the fewest fantasy points to the position on average over the past four weeks. Ingram projects as our RB19 on FanDuel.

John Brown

Buffalo Bills
12/07/16, 5:56 PM ET

John Brown and Tyrann Mathieu didn't practice Wednesday

Brown is still suffering from symptoms stemming from his sickle cell trait. He’ll miss plenty of practice time the rest of the season and will be questionable each week. He’s expected to get 20 snaps per game when he plays and won’t be a viable fantasy option. Mathieu is still dealing with a shoulder injury that kept him out of their last game. His absence would be a nice upgrade for Jarvis Landry this weekend.

Theo Riddick

Las Vegas Raiders
12/07/16, 5:48 PM ET

Theo Riddick misses practice Wednesday, Ebron, Jones, and Washington all limited

Riddick has been limited in practice for several weeks with an ankle injury but was listed with a wrist issue on Wednesday’s practice report. He’s still expected to play in Week 14, although seeing him back at practice tomorrow would be nice. Ebron (knee) was having his reps managed and will be good to go. Receiver Marvin Jones (quad) missed last game, he’ll need to continue to practice this week to play Sunday. Golden Tate had an awesome 8/145/1 line without him on the field, but would take a slight downgrade if Jones returns. Dwayne Washington’s ankle injury is not considered serious, but their signing of Joique Bell yesterday indicates the Lions think he might miss some time. The Lions are 8-point favorites against the Chicago this weekend and have an implied team total of 25.5 points.

Robert Griffin III

Baltimore Ravens
12/07/16, 5:16 PM ET

Robert Griffin will start for Browns on Sunday

According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano, Griffin will start for Cleveland barring any unforeseen setbacks. He projects as our QB27 and should be avoided in fantasy. It isn’t great news for skill players like Terrelle Pryor and Corey Coleman, especially considering it’s Griffin’s first game since Week 1, but Pryor should have a reliable volume of targets. Cleveland has an implied team total of 18.5 points, the third-lowest on the board.

Jaguars injury report

Jacksonville is pretty banged up on offense right now. Tight end Julius Thomas (back), receiver Allen Hurns (hamstring), and running back Denard Robinson (ankle) all missed practice Wednesday, while Chris Ivory (hamstring) was limited. Coach Gus Bradley expects Ivory to be a game time decision on Sunday. If he can’t play, Yeldon will be their lead back. Without receiver Hurns last week, Allen Robinson led the team with ten targets. They face a tough Vikings defense this week, who could easily make it a priority to shut down Robinson without too much worry, especially if Hurns can’t go. The Jags have an implied team total of 17.75 points, the lowest on the board. They aren’t expected to do much on offense and should probably be faded.

Jeremy Maclin

Baltimore Ravens
12/07/16, 4:49 PM ET

Jeremy Maclin removed from injury report

Maclin (groin) is all set to play the Raiders on Thursday. While he was out with injury, Alex Smith and Travis Kelce found their groove. Kelce led the team in targets and exceed 100 yards for the past three weeks. Maclin will take some passes from Kelce and receiver Tyreek Hill, but Kelce still has a good shot to lead the team in receiving this week. Maclin, through seven games, hadn’t exceeded 78 yards and only scored twice before his injury.
