Trevor Siemian

Atlanta Falcons
12/07/16, 4:33 PM ET

Trevor Siemian has limited practice Wednesday

It would appear Siemian (foot) would be on track to play, although it isn’t a sure thing as he’s splitting first-team reps with Paxton Lynch. If he can play this weekend, it would be a nice upgrade to Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. The Titans have allowed the most fantasy points to receivers per game over the last four weeks (58.03 DraftKings points).

Devontae Booker

New York Giants
12/07/16, 4:21 PM ET

Devontae Booker and Justin Forsett will split work Sunday

Coach Gary Kubiak anticipates Forsett contributing right away, adding that he’ll split time with Booker like Kapri Bibbs did. Forsett had a career year in 2014 when Kubiak was his offensive coordinator in Baltimore. This is part of the reason Denver signed the veteran running back, he already has a good feel for the playbook. Booker hasn’t been effective this season, averaging 3.5 yards per carry, and there was speculation among beat writers that Bibbs was on track to take over the starting role before his injury. For now, Booker should still be the lead back and get the majority of the touches, but he’ll be hard to trust. He projects as our RB23 on FanDuel.

Adam Humphries remains in concussion protocol

The Bucs current #2 WR continues to miss practice while being in the NFL concussion protocol. With Cecil Shorts also out that makes Russell Shepard the current #2 WR and he could be a sneaky GPP option going against the Saints defense at home this weekend.

Jordan Reed

San Francisco 49ers
12/07/16, 2:37 PM ET

Jordan Reed practices in limited fashion on Wednesday

The Redskins TE was seen catching passes with both hands and showing no discomfort. He was an observer for the remainder of practice. Regardless he’s progressing in the right direction and could potentially play this weekend against the Eagles. We’ll update you as the week progresses on the status of one of the top TE’s in all of DFS.

Julio Jones

Philadelphia Eagles
12/07/16, 2:29 PM ET

Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu do not practice today for Atlanta

The Falcons could be short their two top WR’s this week as their status is in doubt after missing practice on Wednesday. Jones is battling turf toe while Sanu is dealing with a groin injury. Taylor Gabriel could be in line for a big role if one of those two sit. Justin Hardy also stands to benefit if Jones or Sanu don’t play. We’ll update you over the course of the week on the status of these two.

Jordan Matthews and Ryan Mathews will practice today; expected to play this weekend

The starting RB and WR #1 for the Eagles will practice today and Head Coach Doug Pederson expects both to play this weekend. Jordan is certainly in play facing a suspect Redskins pass defense. Ryan, however, is much riskier and will likely split the workload with Darren Sproles and Wendell Smallwood. Dorial Green-Beckham missed practice and his status for this weekend is uncertain – with Matthews back in the fold, however, he wouldn’t have been a viable option anyway.

Amari Cooper

Las Vegas Raiders
12/06/16, 8:39 PM ET

Chiefs CB Philip Gaines has another full practice Tuesday, which is great for Amari Cooper

Gaines (knee) is on track to play after missing last game against the Falcons. He was destroyed by Emmanuel Sanders a week prior when the Denver receiver went off for a 7/162/1 line. Sanders piled up most of his stats in Gaines’ coverage. Amari Cooper, who lines up on the left side about 57% of the time, will see Gaines, who lines up on the same side on 83% of his snaps, quite a bit. Meanwhile, Michael Crabtree will matchup with Marcus Peters on over half of his routes. As a quick comparison, Peters has an excellent 80 PFF grade and allows 0.27 fantasy points per route defended, while Gaines has a horrific 36.2 score and allows 0.42 points per route, the third-most in the NFL. Despite Crabtree out-targeting Cooper 9.0-6.0 on average over the past four games, Cooper projects higher this week in a much more favorable matchup Thursday night; we’re currently projecting him as our WR7. Cooper will be a high-upside option with suppressed ownership due to recency bias.

Josh Huff

Josh Huff promoted from practice squad

Tampa Bay is really banged up at receiver after losing Cecil Shorts for the season and placing Adam Humphries in concussion protocol. His snap count will vary based on Adam Humphries progress through the protocol. He’ll still be behind Russell Shepard and UDFA Freddie Martino on the depth chart if Humphries sits. Mike Evans and Cameron Brate should get tons of targets this week.

Bryce Petty

Miami Dolphins
12/06/16, 5:42 PM ET

Bryce Petty will start for Jets going forward

The Bryce Petty era is offically underway as coach Todd Bowles announced the second-year quarterback will start the final four weeks of the season. Petty will have those four games to show he can be the future for the Jets. He’ll get the 49ers this weekend, who rank 24th in pass DVOA. While that’s a nice matchup, he won’t be a great fantasy option. In his only other start this season, he had a 24.4 QBR, according to ESPN, throwing for 153 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against the Rams. Their game with San Francisco currently has a low total of 44.5 points and the 49ers are favored by 2.5, giving the Jets an implied team total of 21 points. That should drop before kickoff though; the line opened with a 46.5 point total and a 1-point spread (49ers favored), but has been moving against the Jets since last night’s embarrassing loss, presumably because Petty was subsequently named the starter.

Julio Jones

Philadelphia Eagles
12/06/16, 5:01 PM ET

Julio Jones won't practice Wednesday

Jones was diagnosed with turf toe after Sunday’s game with the Chiefs. While coach Dan Quinn believes Julio can play this week, and hopes to get him back at practice Thursday or Friday, this injury typically takes one to four weeks to heal. Jones has always been a quick healer and has played in 30 consecutive games despite being listed on the injury report nearly every week. In this case, ESPN’s Vaughn McClure believes it best for the Falcons to let Julio rest though, and beat writer D. Orlando Ledbetter said he doesn’t expect him to play. Jones should still be considered questionable. We’ll track his situation closely.

Jeremy Maclin

Baltimore Ravens
12/06/16, 4:41 PM ET

Jeremy Maclin has full practice Tuesday

It seems like Maclin will make his return Thursday night against the Raiders. Buyer beware, Maclin has shown little upside this year and hasn’t played for a month. His best PPR score this season was 17.2 and that was all the way back in Week 1. Tight end Travis Kelce has led the Chiefs in targets the past three weeks and he has a good chance of being Alex Smith’s primary weapon again this week whether Maclin plays or not. Kelce also has three 100-yard games in a row. Oakland’s ranks 22nd in pass DVOA.

Joique Bell

Detroit Lions
12/06/16, 4:27 PM ET

Lions sign Joique Bell

Dwayne Washington left last game early with an ankle injury; this roster move indicates he’s doubtful for Week 14. While Bell isn’t on the fantasy radar, Washington’s absence would increase the workload for Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner. Washington has averaged 9.8 touches over the last four games.

C.J. Spiller

Kansas City Chiefs
12/06/16, 4:27 PM ET

Jets waive C.J. Spiller

Spiller only ended up touching the ball four times with the Jets, three of those coming last night. New York’s season is done and they’ll want the roster spot for some younger talent as the rebuilding process begins in the Bryce Petty era. Matt Forte and Bilal Powell will share running back duties for the remainder of the season. It would make sense for the Jets to ease up on Forte’s workload in an effort to protect his body for next season. Forte has two years left on his deal.

Colin Kaepernick

San Francisco 49ers
12/06/16, 2:24 PM ET

Colin Kaepernick will start this week for 49ers

This was expected even after getting benched midway through a disastrous effort against the Bears on Sunday. It’s a plus match up at home for the 49ers facing a Jets defense extremely vulnerable to the pass.

T.Y. Hilton

Dallas Cowboys
12/05/16, 8:28 PM ET

No surprises ahead of Monday night game; T.Y. Hilton officially active for Colts

Hilton will face a struggling Jets pass defense that ranks 29th in DVOA. Given New York’s solid rush defense (3rd in DVOA), the Colts should be throwing the ball quite a bit. The game has an appealing total of 48.5 points and it’s currently a pick’em, so it should stay competitive. While Hilton’s volume should be there, his touchdown equity is lower with Donte Moncrief in the lineup; Moncrief has caught a touchdown in all four games since his return, while Hilton has just one in that stretch. The Jets will be without safety Calvin Pryor, but defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson, who’s second on the team in tackles for loss (5), will play.
