Brandon Ingram (hip) ruled out Wednesday
Ingram has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings due to a right hip contusion that’s now forced him to miss two consecutive games, while Herb Jones was previously ruled out because of a concussion. With Zion Williamson still without a timetable for a return to game action, the Pelicans are now extremely thin at the power forward position with Ingram is unable to suit up for a second straight night and his absence should elevate Trey Murphy and Naji Marshall into more prominent roles in the rotation. However, Garrett Temple will join the starting lineup alongside Josh Hart and Jonas Valanciunas in the frontcourt, and while Marshall has historically been the more efficient producer of the three for daily fantasy formats, head coach Willie Green has seemed to not want to give Marshall extended run despite multiple opportunities to do so.

Kristaps Porzingis (back) ruled out Wednesday
Unsurprisingly, Porzingis has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs due to low back tightness that’s now kept him sidelined for several games. Since Porzingis has missed extended time recently, there aren’t many changes to be expected for the Mavericks rotation, and Jalen Brunson will once again start in Porzingis’ place alongside Luka Doncic in the backcourt.

Patrick Beverley (calf) will play Wednesday. With D’Angelo Russell out, Beverley will be counted on to split PG duties with Jordan McLaughlin, who could be equally involved off the bench. Jaylen Nowell is another potential deeper option to see some run in the backcourt, but isn’t on the DFS radar.

Theis has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers due to right great toe soreness, while Tate has been cleared to play following his original designation on the Rockets’ injury report with a sore right ankle. In Theis’ place, rookie Alperen Sengun will receive the starting nod alongside Christian Wood in the frontcourt and given head coach Stephen Silas’ tendency to play both big men together even when Theis is available, Sengun immediately becomes a top value option on the late slates and a worthy late swap candidate for all contests across the daily fantasy industry.

Morant has officially been upgraded from questionable and is listed as available to play in Monday’s matchup against the Denver Nuggets after previously being considered a game-time decision with right elbow soreness. There haven’t been any reports of any limitations or potential minute restrictions, so he should be considered a full-go for tonight’s contest and should see somewhere in range of his usual minute allotment as the Grizzlies starting point guard.

Harris is a surprise late addition to the Sixers’ injury report and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers as he’s entered the league’s health and safety protocols and could miss multiple games. Meanwhile, Joel Embiid will also be unavailable for rest purposes as Philadelphia is amid a stretch of six games in nine nights, including a couple of back-to-back sets, so his absence will force head coach Doc Rivers to insert Andre Drummond into the starting lineup, and with Drummond taking over Embiid’s vacated role entirely, he becomes must play in all daily fantasy formats at his price tag across the industry. The situation behind Drummond is a bit murkier since Rivers has yet to show the confidence in Paul Reed or Charles Bassey to give them extended, meaningful minutes in a regular season game, which could lead to extended run for Georges Niang at multiple positions and other members of Sixers second unit this evening.

Dort is a new addition to the Thunder’s injury report and has officially been listed out for Monday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a right shoulder contusion, while Deck is listed as questionable with a left heel contusion. Deck has rarely been a part of the Thunder rotation to this point in the young season, so his potential absence is unlikely to alter projections much, if at all. However, with Dort sidelined, Kenrich Williams appears to be the odds-on favorite to join the starting unit, though his minute floor will be anything but secure with how deep head coach Mark Daigneault has been willing to go with his rotation. Other than Williams, players like Ty Jerome, Aleksej Pokusevski, and Theo Maledon are all capable of absorbing minutes on the wing, which really limits all four to nothing other than fliers in large-field tournament formats this evening.

As expected, James has been upgraded from his original questionable designation on the Lakers’ injury report and will start in Sunday’s matchup against the Houston Rockets despite continuing to deal with right ankle soreness. Meanwhile, Howard is a late scratch from the active roster and won’t be available to play in tonight’s contest due to neck stiffness. This led to head coach Frank Vogel shaking up his normal starting lineup for the first time by shifting Anthony Davis over to center and inserting Avery Bradley alongside Kent Bazemore on the wing. Other than a slight usage increase, it’s unlikely DeAndre Jordan benefits from a move to the bench as he should still see a similar minute allotment as Davis’ backup as he was as a “starter” on most nights. Instead, the lineup change could lead to increased minutes and opportunity for the likes of Bradley, Malik Monk, and Carmelo Anthony this evening.

As expected, Rozier has officially been upgraded from probable and will be available to play in Sunday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers after missing all but one game this season due to a sprained right ankle. There haven’t been any reports of a minute restriction for Rozier, and the fact that he’ll rejoin the starting lineup immediately seems to bode well for his potential workload in tonight’s contest. Rozier’s return will send Kelly Oubre back to the bench to assume his presumed sixth-man role, and it’s likely Cody Martin and Jalen McDaniels see reduced playing time with the second unit, that is, if the latter even remains in head coach James Borrego’s regular rotation at all for the foreseeable future.

Despite never being listed on the Bucks injury report, Middleton has now been ruled out and won’t play in Sunday’s matchup against the Utah Jazz due to an illness, while Semi Ojeleye will be rested on the second leg of a back-to-back set as he continues to ramp up his condition following a lengthy injury absence. With the Bucks now down three regular starters, Pat Connaughton will join George Hill and Thanasis Antetokounmpo as their replacements in the first unit with Giannis Antetokounmpo primarily handling the “center” duties in this lineup variation. Milwaukee will have the services of Bobby Portis after he missed Saturday’s loss, but he’ll remain on a minute restriction and is unlikely to have any serious implications on tonight’s daily fantasy slate. In theory, Giannis should become close to a must play for all formats with Middleton and Holiday sidelined if he sees his usual allotment of minutes, but that is far from guaranteed given the Bucks propensity for punting regular season games with regularity over the last two seasons.
