Nerlens Noel has plenty of opportunity with so many Sixers injured
Unfortunately for the Sixers, we may see one of the worst small ball lineups of all time tonight because of injuries. They’re the last team that needs to be ravaged with injuries, but Jahlil Okafor, Jerami Grant, Robert Covington, and Richaun Holmes will all be out for their match up with the Pistons. Noel will be playing a lot of center down the stretch here with Okafor out, and while the Pistons are eighth in DvP vs. C, this may be a situation where we have to just ignore the matchup because the opportunity is too good to pass up. Noel has seen 32 and 34 minutes in the last two games, and we expect him to hit that mark if not more because of all the injuries. He offers an extremely high floor when his minutes are solidified and is likely one of the safest options relative to his price on the slate.
Dwyane Wade ruled out Saturday
Dwyane Wade won’t play tonight against Toronto because of a thigh injury. Josh Richardson will likely get the start for the Heat tonight. He played 32 minutes last night against Chicago and finished with 32 FD points. He is just $3,700 on FD and $3,600 on DK. Gerald Green should also see more minutes, but he isn’t a DFS option. Goran Dragic and Luol Deng will see a lot more usage on offense with Wade out of the lineup.

Isaiah Canaan will start Saturday not Nik Stauskas
It was reported earlier in the day by beat reporter Keith Pompey that Nik Stauskas would start tonight, but Brett Brown told reporters before the game that Isaiah Canaan would start. This really doesn’t change anything. Both Canaan and Stauskas are GPP punt plays only. Carl Landry, Hollis Thompson, Ish Smith, and Nerlens Noel are the preferred targets for the 76ers tonight.

Both Kobe Bryant and Louis Williams will likely play on Sunday against the Knicks. Bryant hasn’t been playing consecutive games lately. Williams has missed the last four games with a hamstring issue. Bryant is a GPP play tomorrow, and Williams isn’t’ a DFS option. Bryant did score 26 points against Cleveland on Thursday. The fantasy value of D’Angelo Russell and Jordan Clarkson takes a bit of a hit with Bryant and Williams in the lineup. Marcelo Huertas is no longer a DFS option with everyone playing tomorrow.

With the injuries to their backcourt the Grizzlies signed Ray McCallum on Saturday. He is available to play tonight against the Hawks. The Grizzlies also just signed Briante Weber. Weber played 40 minutes last game. Look for McCallum and Weber to split the point guard duties for the time being. Both of them aren’t available on DK and FD for tonight’s slate.

Dion Waiters will miss his third straight game Saturday because of personal reasons. Andre Roberson left Friday’s game with an injury, and is questionable for tonight. If Roberson is also ruled out, Randy Foye and Anthony Morrow could be worth a look in a GPP.

Kevin Love said that he will play Sunday against the Clippers. Love missed the last game with a leg injury. Channing Frye loses his value with Love back in the lineup. Love has been up and down recently, but makes for a nice GPP play on Sunday. He will likely be lowly owned, because he missed the last game with an injury.

Richaun Holmes will miss Saturday’s game against the Pistons with an Achilles injury. With Jerami Grant also ruled out because of an injury, Carl Landry should get all the minutes he can handle. Landry has produced very well when he has gotten over 20 minutes. He is just $3,600 on FD and $3,200 on DK. With all the injuries to the 76ers, Elton Brand may see a couple more minutes off the bench.

The 76ers will be very shorthanded when they play the Pistons on Saturday night. Jerami Grant, Robert Covington, and Richaun Holmes will all miss because of injuries. Jahlil Okafor was just ruled out for the season a couple of days ago. The top two values play for the 76ers tonight will be Hollis Thompson and Carl Landry. Thompson has scored over 30 FD points in four of his last five games. He is just $4,000 on DK and $3,800 on FD. Landry played 25 minutes and finished with 26 FD points last night against the Nets. He is just $3,600 on FD and $3,200 on DK. Nik Stauskas is a GPP punt play only; he’s really been struggling lately. Ishmael Smith and Nerlens Noel are also strong plays for the 76ers tonight. Both will see a lot more usage on offense with all the injuries.

Robert Covington and Jerami Grant won’t play Saturday against the Pistons. Covington and Grant collided with each other in last night’s game. Both are entering the NBA’s concussion protocol. Hollis Thompson will benefit the most with Covington out. He has scored over 30 FD points in four of his last five games. Thompson is just $4,000 on DK and $3,800 on FD. He is listed as a SF on FD, and a SG on DK. Isaiah Canaan and Nik Stauskas will both see some extra minutes with Covington out. With Grant out, and Richaun Holmes likely out, Carl Landry should be in for a lot of minutes tonight. Last night, Landry played 25 minutes and finished with 26 FD points. He is just $3,600 on FD and $3,200 on DK.

Ty Lawson will miss Saturday’s against the Mavericks with a foot injury. Lawson being out changes nothing fantasy wise. He played just five minutes in his Pacers debut.

Zach Randolph will miss his fourth straight game Saturday with a knee injury. JaMychal Green has benefitted the most with Randolph out of the lineup. Over his last three games, Green is averaging 40 FD points per game. In each of those games he has saw over 35 minutes. While his price has increased; he still remains a very strong play at $6,400 on FD and $6,000 on DK.

Mike Conley will miss the next 3-4 weeks with an Achilles injury. With Mario Chalmers out for the year; Briante Weber is the only active point guard on the Grizzlies roster. Weber isn’t in the player pool on both sites yet. Lance Stephenson, Tony Allen, and Matt Barnes will all see a big increase in usage without Conley.

Norris Cole is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Bucks. He has missed the last two games with a back injury. If Cole can’t play tonight, Toney Douglas becomes a top value play. Last night, Douglas played 42 minutes and finished with 32 FD points. Douglas is just $3,700 on DK and $3,600 on FD.

Bradley Beal is expected to return Saturday against the Nuggets. He missed the last two games with a pelvis injury. Beal is only a GPP play tonight. It’s tough to predict his minute’s tonight, but he does have an elite matchup against the Nuggets backcourt. If Beal returns this hurts the value of Garrett Temple and Ramon Sessions.
