Jeremy Lamb (sprained toe) has been ruled out tonight
Jeremy Lamb has been ruled out again with his toe injury which makes Jeremy Lin a viable option yet again. Nicolas Batum is still a GTD with his toe injury and we should out something soon. Lin has been playing well in the absence of Batum and Lamb but will face a tough defensive squad tonight in the Jazz.

Derrick Favors likely coming off the bench on Wednesday
Derrick Favors had no setbacks in his return but will continue to come off the bench on Wednesday. Favors is an expensive bench piece and does not provide much upside at this salary unless he is a starter. On the bright side if he does not exceed value again tonight his salary should fall for the next game. Trey Lyles will continue playing as the starter alongside Rudy Gobert tonight.

Joffery Lauvergne and Jameer Nelson have both been ruled out tonight meaning starters Emmanuel Mudiay and Nikola Jokic are in line for a ton of minutes again tonight. Jokic has been playing really well with back-to-back 38 and 39 fantasy point outings. Mudiay faces a tougher challenge with the Celtics being one of the top teams at guarding point guards. Since the game has yet to lock hopefully you can get Jokic on your rosters in DraftKings.

Paul Pierce will play tonight on the second night of a back-to-back. Pierce is a low-end DFS option against the Hawks tonight. Most of his fantasy points come from scoring so if his shot is not falling he can really hurt your team. Pierce will likely start with the Clippers having no real big man depth.

Both Kevin Martin and Kevin Garnett were doubtful heading into tonight’s contest and have been confirmed out. Nikola Pekovic will likely start again for Garnett and Zach LaVine should see the backup minutes at guard. LaVine will look to build on his solid outing from Monday where he had 37.5 FPs on DK. While a lot of it can be blamed on the blowout LaVine could excel tonight as well in an uptempo game with the Thunder. LaVine is averaging 29.1 FPs in two contests this year against the Thunder.

Kevin Martin has been ruled out again tonight with a wrist injury, making Zach LaVine and Shabazz Muhammad great options. Muhammad has been rolling over the last few weeks after a bit of a sluggish start to the season. He has had four straight 20-point fantasy outings and should get plenty of opportunity again tonight with Martin out. He should see 28-32 minutes again tonight as he has definitely solidified a big role in the Timberwolves’ rotation. This game is expected to be fairly close given the unusual number of potential blowouts on tonight’s slate, so if this game does stay close look for Muhammad to get plenty of run vs. Oklahoma City.
Salah Mejri will likely start for Zaza Pachulia, but isn’t likely a DFS option
Salah Mejri has had a coming out of sorts over the last week with Zaza Pachulia sidelined with injury. In his first game as a starter vs. Houston he exploded for 10 points and 11 rebounds and a DK score of 29.75 points. Last night was a different story, however, as Mejri managed just 9 points and 4 rebounds in 23 minutes vs. the Lakers. Tonight the Mavericks face off against the red-hot, run-and-gun Warriors and Mejri will likely not see the court as much as he has. He does not fit well playing a team that likes to get up and down the court like the Warriors do, and if I had to choose I would say it is more likely we see a performance like we did last night with Mejri. His price has jumped up $800, and he is splitting time with JaVale McGee so Mejri is not a recommended play tonight at the C.
JaKarr Sampson (illness) out on Wednesday
JaKarr Sampson has been ruled out due to an illness for tonight’s game against the Pistons.Sampson was not much of a DFS option even before his illness and his absence should not affect the Sixers tonight. Jahlil Okafor was already ruled out of this game last night. The 76ers will keep the same starting five they had last night with Ish Smith, Stauskas, Covington, Grant, and Noel.

The Bulls have officially ruled out Nikola Mirotic after he underwent an appendectomy. With Joakim Noah already out for the year and Mirotic out for a couple weeks, Bobby Portis will be a viable punt play until his price skyrockets. Then Portis will be a solid play depending on the game. Portis will likely be a chalky play tomorrow against the Lakers. Taj Gibson and Pau Gasol should also get a bump in minutes with only one capable big man behind them.

In case you have been living under a rock for the last two days, Blake Griffin broke his hand when the team was in Toronto because he punched an equipment manager in the face, and proceeded to follow him outside of the restaurant and punch him in the face again. Needless to say, Griffin will be out of action for the forseeable future, and with Griffin sidelined the entire Clippers team sees a boost. Most notably, DeAndre Jordan sees a pretty sizable boost with really no other post presence for the Clippers. He is on the floor for the majority of the game and when Griffin is out, Jordan averages 14 points and 16 rebounds per game. The only downside to rostering Jordan is the risk of the “hack-a-Jordan” technique. While that is normally a good thing, Jordan shoots a horrific 42% from the foul line this season and sometimes forces Coach Doc Rivers’ hand into benching Jordan. However that is a minuscule worry tonight as Atlanta has one of the worst rebounding percentages in the league and Jordan should be a beast on the boards.
Anthony Davis downgraded to doubtful for Thursday
Anthony Davis has been downgraded with a concussion and Ryan Anderson is listed as the starter for Thursday. The Pelicans host the Kings and Anderson should have his hands full against DeMarcus Cousins. Anderson should be a solid option given that he should play over 30 minutes but guarding Cousins can lead to foul trouble. Anderson has scored 20+ points in back-to-back games so his shot seems to be finally falling.

O.J. Mayo will miss his sixth consecutive game due to his hamstring injury. Jerryd Bayless is the primary beneficiary now that he has recovered from his own ankle injury. Bayless played 30 minutes last night and had 12 points and 5 rebounds. While Bayless is not an elite fantasy option he should be able to secure 28 minutes against his former team.

Thompson is coming off a monster game where he had 19 points and 12 rebounds. With a couple assists he ended up with 38.5 FPs on DK. Thompsons salary only rose $200 from his previous game is now $5k on DraftKings. Cavs Coach Ty Lue wants an uptempo attack and Thompson fits the mold much better than Mozgov. Thompson will face off against Tyson Chandler tonight and could be in a battle for those rebounds. This game is projected to be a blowout and with the Suns starting two players over seven feet, it will be tough for Thompson to match his previous output. His salary allows for a low bar to exceed expectations but his inept offensive game keeps his ceiling low. If you are not paying up for Paul Millsap, Thompson is still a solid play due to the inconsistencies of the rest of the PFs available tonight.

Henson has been ruled out against the Grizzlies with a sore lower back. Johnny O’Bryant will likely see some minutes behind Greg Monroe. Bryant is not a DFS option even if he is able to secure over 16 minutes. Bryant has not scored in double figure in over two months and should be left off rosters on Thursday.

Raul Neto has passed the concussion protocol and will be active tonight. He will likely resume his starting position and this hurts the value of Trey Burke. While Neto is not a huge offensive threat, his presence in the lineup will keep Burke under 30 minutes of action. Burke is still a good play against the Hornets and will likely not be as highly owned had Neto been out tonight.
