Marvin Jones (thigh) and Theo Riddick (ankle) limited in Wednesday's practice
It’s a new injury for Jones, although it doesn’t seem overly serious. He should be ready to play on Sunday. Although he didn’t have a big game on Thanksgiving (4/54/0), he was targeted 11 times, which is the first time he’s been over seven since Week 3. Golden Tate has had more receptions than Jones for six straight games and leads the team in targets. Riddick has been dealing with an ankle injury for weeks and is routinely limited in practice. He should be good to go as well. Given his style of play, he has a good matchup this weekend; the Saints rank dead last in pass DVOA against receiving running backs.

Update: Trevor Siemian (sprained foot) in walking boot Wednesday
He’s currently considered day-to-day. As mentioned earlier, Paxton Lynch would start if Siemian can’t go on Sunday, which would be a downgrade to the Broncos’ receivers. Jacksonville has allowed just 204 passing yards per game, the third best mark in the league. Since news broke of Siemian’s injury the game’s total dropped to 40.5 points. Denver is still favored by 4.5, which sets up a possible Devontae Booker game. The Jaguars rank 23rd in rush DVOA and have allowed the fourth-most rushing touchdowns (13) this season.

Benjamin is dealing with a nagging shoulder injury, but should be fine to play this weekend. Carolina heads to Seattle this weekend as 6.5-point underdogs. Even though expected game flow is on Benjamin’s side, it’ll be a difficult matchup against an elite secondary. After stringing together five games of 70 or more yards, he hasn’t exceeded three receptions or 56 yards over the past two. His day was somewhat salvaged this past weekend on a 44-yard touchdown, but he finished with just two catches and 53 yards overall. He was targeted six times while Ted Ginn led the team with ten looks. It’ll be hard to trust Benjamin in Seattle; he should be avoided in cash games.

Williams was forced from Sunday’s game late after injuring the same labrum he tore in college. He played through the injury then, and it’s not as severe now, but he should be considered questionable for this weekend. If he ends up sitting, Dontrelle Inman may be a better target than Travis Benjamin. Even with Benjamin back in the lineup in Week 12, and near full health, Inman out-targeted him 6-2 and out-gained him 119-8, while adding a touchdown. Antonio Gates and Hunter Henry would also be in line for some extra looks. They face a Tampa Bay pass defense that’s coming off a great performance against the Seahawks. The Bucs now rank 10th in pass DVOA.

Ivory left the game early this past Sunday with a hamstring injury and his status for this week is up in the air after missing practice for the Jaguars on Wednesday. We’ll keep you updated on his status as the week progresses. Denard Robinson could be an interesting value option if Ivory can’t go as their opponent, the Broncos, have been vulnerable to the run.

Eddie Royal does not practice for Bears on Wednesday
Probably just a rest day for the veteran Bears WR who has been battling a toe injury for quite some time now. He should be fine to face the 49ers this weekend.

Watkins was expected to get a limited practice in, but ended up missing the session entirely. Given that it’s still Wednesday and Watkins has dealt with a multitude of injuries over the past few seasons, it’s not all that shocking to see Buffalo take it easy with him, but that is of course assuming he hasn’t re-aggravated anything dating back to Sunday. The former first-round pick was able to corral all three of his targets last weekend for 80 yards, but played a little under half of the Bills offensive snaps. He should see an uptick this week as long as nothing new pops up on the injury report. His presence takes the rest of the Bills receivers out of play given how poorly this team moves the ball through the air.

Patton is dealing with a concussion that was suffered this past weekend in Miami. It’s unclear if the 49ers expect him to return this weekend or not, but he’ll have to pass through the league’s concussion protocol nonetheless. Outside of Vance McDonald, none of the 49ers pass-catchers are seeing consistent looks from Colin Kaepernick, so this unit is best left untouched on a full slate. Patton was seeing the most volume among the receivers before exiting early in Week 12, and his potential absence would bode well for guys like Torrey Smith and Rod Streater, but it’s not enough to make either a recommended value play.

Fresh off of one of his biggest games of the season, Siemian sat out the Broncos practice today with a foot injury. He should be able to play this week but we’ll need to monitor the practice reports tomorrow and Friday to get a better feel for the situation. Regardless of who is at QB for the Broncos (it’d be Paxton Lynch if Siemian can’t go), it’s a match up to avoid facing a tough Jaguars pass defense in a game with a total just over 40 points.

Fitzgerald and Palmer were just given the day off for rest purposes so there’s nothing to worry about with those two. Brown, however, doesn’t look as if he will play as he continues to battle his sickle cell issue. Michael Floyd and J.J. Nelson both receive a boost with Brown out but Carson Palmer has been struggling at QB so it’s hard to trust either as DFS options.

A trio of Jaguars players sat out practice today – only one of them missed last week (Thomas) and he’s the player most likely to sit again this week. Ben Koyack got the start at TE but is not a viable DFS option. The same could be said for Hurns (Marqise Lee is the clear WR #2 now for the Jags) and Yeldon (Denard Robinson outtouched him last week even with Chris Ivory getting injured).

Of the three, Gronk is the player most likely to sit out this week as Brady and Edelman both played through their injuries last week. As heavy favorites it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Patriots rest Gronkowski putting Martellus Bennett on the fantasy radar yet again. Bennett has been largely disappointing with the bigger role the last few weeks but given the high total the Patriots have and the lack of viable options at TE this week, he’ll be worth a look.

A day after stating he had around 30% movement in his shoulder, the Redskins TE missed practice. It’s not looking good for him to play this weekend which means it’ll be Vernon Davis getting the bulk of the passing down work from the TE position. Davis would make for an excellent value option if that were to happen.

The Dolphins promising young WR injured his back this past Sunday against the 49ers and his status for this weekend is in doubt after missing practice today. Kenny Stills would receive a likely bump in targets if he can’t go in what will be a tough match up against the tough defense of the Baltimore Ravens.
