PHI RB Miles Sanders has "a chance" to play on Sunday according to HC Nick Sirianni
PHI RB Miles Sanders has “a chance” to play on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints according to HC Nick Sirianni. Sirianni went on to say that they will see how Sanders feels this week at practice and make a decision on Friday. He also included that if Sanders is good to go he will be the starting running back and Sirianni will need to figure out how to split the rest of the snaps between the other backs. If Sanders is unable to play again this weekend, Jordan Howard should see most of the early down work for the Eagles with Boston Scott also mixing in while Kenneth Gainwell should see snaps on passing downs. This will be an important situation to monitor throughout the week though it ultimately sounds like a decision will not be made until the injury report comes out on Friday.
As reported by: Reuben FrankATL RB Cordarrelle Patterson will be a game-time decision Thursday
ATL RB Cordarrelle Patterson will be a game-time decision Thursday against the New England Patriots. Patterson is dealing with an ankle injury which was originally expected to keep him out for this week but after logging a full week of limited practice it seems as though he is trending in the right direction to be able to suit up. If Patterson is unable to play however, Mike Davis and Wayne Gallman would split the backfield work and could both be considered on the showdown slate. It will be important to monitor Patterson’s practice status and to confirm his “questionable” listing on the injury report released later today.
As reported by: Doug KyedNYJ QB Joe Flacco expected to start Sunday
Joe Flacco is expected to start Sunday for the New York Jets against the Miami Dolphins. Zach Wilson is still not 100% healthy and the Jets want to be careful with him and HC Saleh will elect to go with Flacco over Mike White. Flacco is expected to get the nod against the Miami defense due to his experience and his ability to deal with the pass rush. Flacco offers little to no DFS upside and it is best to look elsewhere in DFS contests especially in this tough of a matchup.
As reported by: Rich CiminiATL TE Hayden Hurst (ankle) DNP Tuesday
Hayden Hurst logged a DNP Tuesday ahead of the Falcons’ matchup on Thursday with the New England Patriots. If Hurst is unable to suit up, Kyle Pitts could play a few more snaps and would become an even stronger play than he already is. Lee Smith and Parker Hesse would be available to back Pitts up but would not be DFS relevant outside of dart throw punt plays on the Thursday showdown slate.
As reported by: Mike RothsteinNYJ TE Kenny Yeboah signed to active roster
Kenny Yeboah has been signed to the active roster ahead of Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Yeboah is expected to continue to serve as tight end depth behind Ryan Griffin and Trevon Wesco (until Tyler Kroft is back) and is not DFS relevant at this time.

Geronimo Allison has been waived by the Detroit Lions ahead of their matchup with the Cleveland Browns this Sunday. Allison had been serving as wide receiver depth for the Lions and with the recent signing of Josh Reynolds his presence was not needed anymore.
As reported by: Detroit LionsSFO RB Elijah Mitchell (broken finger) status uncertain for Sunday
Elijah Mitchell sustained a broken finger on Monday against the Rams and his status is uncertain for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Team doctors are hopeful that he will be fine to practice by tomorrow and be available to play on Sunday but it depends on how the surgery goes. If Mitchell is forced to miss time, Jeff Wilson would be the next man up and would see the bulk of the carries with Deebo Samuel also mixing in. As of now, it seems pretty likely that Mitchell will be able to tough it out and play this weekend but it will be important to monitor his status as we get closer to Sunday.
As reported by: Matt BarrowsK Riley Patterson signed by Detroit Lions
Riley Patterson has been signed by the Detroit Lions ahead of their matchup this Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. Patterson is expected to handle the kicking duties this weekend and going forward, at least until Austin Seibert is healthy enough to return.
As reported by: Mike ReissNEP RB Damien Harris (concussion) and WR Gunner Olszewski (concussion) return to practice Tuesday
NEP RB Damien Harris (concussion) and WR Gunner Olszewski (concussion) have returned to practice Tuesday ahead of the Patriots’ Thursday night matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Harris should return to his role as the primary back for New England while splitting snaps with Rhamondre Stevenson (coming off a huge game in Harris’s absence Sunday) and Brandon Bolden. Harris could see a slightly lighter workload than normal coming off an injury and a short week making Stevenson and Bolden better plays. It will be important to monitor Harris’s practice status and his listing on the injury report released tomorrow. Olszewski should return to his role on special teams while also providing depth at the wide receiver position.

Cordarrelle Patterson (ankle) has returned to practice Tuesday ahead of the Falcons’ Thursday night matchup with the New England Patriots. Patterson is dealing with an ankle injury which was originally expected to keep him out for this week but with returning to practice he could be trending in the right direction to be able to suit up. It will be important to monitor Patterson’s practice status and his listing on the injury report released tomorrow.
As reported by: Mike RothsteinRB Le'Veon Bell released by Ravens Tuesday
Le’Veon Bell has been released by the Ravens Tuesday. It looks as though the Ravens will move forward with Devonta Freeman, Latavius Murray, and Ty’Son Williams splitting the work in the backfield. Freeman and Murray should be expected to see the bulk of the carries with Williams mixing in as well, though not playing nearly as many snaps. At this point, it is still best to avoid all members of the Ravens backfield due to the unreliable split of the work and Lamar Jackson’s rushing ability. This remains true in a tougher matchup against the Chicago Bears defense who is 10th in fantasy points allowed to running backs. It remains to be seen if Le’Veon Bell will seek a new team at this point of the season.
As reported by: Jeremy FowlerKCC TE Dan Brown listed inactive for Sunday
Dan Brown has been listed inactive for Sunday night’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Las Vegas Raiders. Brown was expected to serve as tight end depth if active so his absence will not be DFS relevant. Travis Kelce will be backed up by Blake Bell and Noah Gray tonight.
As reported by: Adam TeicherLVR RB Peyton Barber listed inactive for Sunday
Peyton Barber has been listed inactive for Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Barber will once again be inactive as the new Raiders coaching staff elects to use Jalen Richard as their third back. The bulk of the carries will still be handled by Josh Jacobs with Kenyan Drake also mixing in.
As reported by: Las Vegas RaidersDEN RB Mike Boone listed inactive for Sunday

As reported by: Denver BroncosGBP WR Equanimeous St. Brown and TE Dominique Dafney listed inactive for Sunday
Equanimeous St. Brown and Dominique Dafney have been listed inactive for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks. St. Brown was expected to serve as receiver depth for the Packers and his absence should not be DFS relevant. With Dafney out, Marcedes Lewis and Josiah Degura should split reps at tight end though neither project to be very good plays.
