Giants RB Saquon Barkley and TE Evan Engram are Active, WR Sterling Shepard is Inactive

As expected, Barkley and Engram are good to go, while Shepard has yet to clear concussion protocol.

Zay Jones

Arizona Cardinals
10/20/19, 12:10 PM ET

Raiders WRs Tyrell Williams Dwayne Harris, Zay Jones Inactive Today Vs. Packers

Zay Jones is a surprise inactive, which should lead to more volume for the likes of Trevor Davis and Hunter Renfrow.

Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins
10/20/19, 12:11 PM ET

Dolphins CB Xavien Howard and S Reshad Jones are Inactive, WR Jakeem Grant is Active

Howard is a surprise inactive, which makes Bills WR John Brown an even stronger play. Josh Allen and his pass catchers could eat against a very depleted Dolphins secondary.

Vernon Davis

Washington Commanders
10/20/19, 12:13 PM ET

Redskins CB Josh Norman, RB Chris Thompson, TE Vernon Davis, QB Colt McCoy all Inactive Today

Josh Norman being out today boosts the 49ers passing game, but all their WRs are still risky because of the wide rotation Head Coach Kyle Shanahan has deployed in the 2019 season.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling

Dallas Cowboys
10/20/19, 12:17 PM ET

Packers WRs Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Geronimo Allison are Active, Ryan Grant is Inactive

Surprisingly, MVS and Allison will suit up today, which no longer makes Allen Lazard or Jake Kumerow value options on the main slate.

As reported by: Matt Schneidman Other tagged players: Geronimo Allison, Ryan Grant, Allen Lazard, Darrius Shepherd, Aaron Rodgers, Jake Kumerow

Robert Foster

New York Giants
10/20/19, 12:05 PM ET

Bills WR Robert Foster, RB T.J. Yeldon are Inactive Today

With Yeldon out, rookie Devin Singletary, who is back from a hamstring injury, could see some solid run along with Frank Gore against the worst defense in the NFL. Foster’s absence cements Duke Williams into the No. 3 slot at receiver behind John Brown and Cole Beasley.

David Johnson

New Orleans Saints

Johnson will play today, while Kirk will not, as expected.

Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (Shoulder) Will Play Vs. Saints Today

Trubisky (shoulder) will make his return from injury this afternoon. We shouldn’t expect much fantasy goodness in this game, which has the lowest implied total of Week 7 and features two teams that rank in the bottom seven in pace of play. Despite his cheap price tag, Trubisky only merits DFS consideration in afternoon slates against the stout Saints defense.

New Orleans Saints
10/20/19, 7:46 AM ET

Cardinals RB David Johnson (Ankle) Expected to Play Today, WR Christian Kirk (Ankle) Likely Out

This is some of the biggest news of the weekend along with the Packers’ injuries at receiver. Cardinals WRs KeeSean Johnson, Trent Sherfield, Andy Isabella, Pharoh Cooper, and RB Chase Edmonds could all see increased opportunityin the passing game with Kirk (ankle) out yet again.

Keeshon Johnson has seen an 18% target share when Kirk has been out and is an excellent value play in all formats, especially if Packers WRs Allen Lazard and Jake Kumerow don’t become viable punt options. The matchup for Keeshon Johnson is great, too; the Giants allow the seventh most FPs to wide receivers and are 28th in DVOA against the pass.

Chase Edmonds truthers were teased for a second consecutive week, as David Johnson (ankle) is likely to suit up. David Johnson projects as a nice play especially on Yahoo and FanDuel, where he is a top-six point-per-dollar option.

Amari Cooper

Las Vegas Raiders
10/20/19, 8:00 AM ET

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (Ankle, Quad), WR Randall Cobb (Back), OT La’el Collins (Knee), OT Tyron Smith (Ankle) and CB Byron Jones (Hamstring) all Expected to Play on Sunday Night

This is huge news for the Cowboys, who should be at full strength offensively against the Eagles in a critical NFC East tilt on Sunday Night Football. With both OTs back, the entire offense should be more efficient. Check back for inactives about an hour and a half before this game starts to be sure none of these key players suffer any setbacks.

Zeke and Gallup are most affected by the surprising health of the Dallas offense. Elliot saw 28 carries and six targets last week since he had to be relied on more heavily with Cooper and Cobb hurt. Zeke can never be counted out to have a big game, but it seems less probable with his volume likely to decrease against a Philly defense that ranks second in DVOA vs. the run. Gallup was expected to be an excellent value play, but with Cooper back, his target projection will decrease tremendously. Gallup is still having an excellent 2019 campaign, meaning he should be considered for tournaments ranging from single-game to the main slate nonetheless. The pass-funnel Eagles defense has allowed the most FPs to WRs this season.

Packers Expect to Have at Least One of Geronimo Allison (Concussion, Chest), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (Ankle, Knee) for Today's Game Vs. the Raiders

Lions CB Darius Slay (Hamstring) is Expected to Play Today Against the Vikings

This is a boost for the Lions pass coverage, but does not likely impact Stefon Diggs or Adam Thielen too much, even if Slay shadows one of them.

Colts DE Justin Houston (Calf) Expected to Play Today

Dede Westbrook

10/20/19, 11:08 AM ET

Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook (Shoulder) Likely to Play Today Vs. Bengals

The Jaguars are already shorthanded on offense with Lee and Swaim out. Westbrook and Chris Conley should see a lot of increased opportunity against the Bengals. They make excellent leverage plays off of Leonard Fournette, who is projected to be one of the highest-owned players on the slate.

In 2019, teams have run on the Bengals the second-most and passed the second-least. However, the Bengals are terrible against the pass when offenses elect to throw on them – they rank 30th in DVOA, 29th in sack rate, and second in pass success rate allowed. If the Bengals can somehow limit the chalky Fournette, Gardner Minshew II and these wideouts could pay off at low ownership across the industry.

John Brown

Buffalo Bills
10/20/19, 11:12 AM ET

Dolphins CB Xavien Howard (Knee) is Expected to Play Today

Howard’s presence will help the Dolphins pass defense, but the Pro Bowl corner has had an awful 2019 season thus far. Even if he shadows John Brown, the home-run threat is still a fantastic tournament play.
