Theo Riddick

Las Vegas Raiders
11/02/18, 3:27 PM ET

Theo Riddick practices in full Friday, will play Sunday; Darius Slay questionable

Theo Riddick practices in full Friday, will play Sunday, while Darius Slay is questionable. Riddick’s presence should eat into Kerryon Johnson’s passing down work and it’s also very possible Riddick sees a little time out of the slot with Golden Tate shipped off to Philly. Johnson isn’t quite as strong of a mid-range RB target with Riddick active.

DeAndre Hopkins

Baltimore Ravens
11/02/18, 3:11 PM ET

DeAndre Hopkins does not carry an injury designation into Sunday

DeAndre Hopkins does not carry an injury designation into Sunday, so he’ll play against the Broncos. Demaryius Thomas is now with the Texans and his presence should help keep some defensive attention away from Nuk with Will Fuller out, and it’s possible we see Keke Coutee back in action.

Keke Coutee

Miami Dolphins
11/02/18, 3:10 PM ET

Keke Coutee limited again on Friday, questionable for Sunday

Keke Coutee limited again on Friday and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Broncos. Demaryius Thomas will be with the Texans to face his former team, so it’s not as if Coutee will necessarily benefit from added looks with Will Fuller out. We’ll update Coutee’s status as Sunday approaches, but he seems like a slightly better bet to play than to sit.

Amari Cooper

Las Vegas Raiders
11/02/18, 3:02 PM ET

Cowboys plan to give WR Amari Cooper "a significant amount of snaps" in Week 9

Cooper will start on Monday night and can be considered at his price across sites after the Cowboys announced they would not be “easing him in” against the Titans. However, the floor still remains extremely low, given that we don’t know how the team will use the newly-signed wideout on what is sure to remain a run-first, likely lowpassing volume offense.

Allen Robinson

Detroit Lions
11/02/18, 2:43 PM ET

WR Allen Robinson (groin) is questionable for Sunday’s game

The Bears receiver missed Week 8 as well as practice most of this week but returned in limited fashion on Friday. Josh Bellamy, Anthony Miller, and Taylor Gabriel all saw over two-thirds of the snaps in Week 8 with Miller converting a touchdown and seeing the most targets of the group. The rookie receiver would probably stand to benefit the most again if Robinson misses Sunday’s game and he’ll draw the best matchup in the slot against the Bills, avoiding CB Tre’Davious White.

Royce Freeman

Los Angeles Chargers
11/02/18, 2:26 PM ET

RB Royce Freeman (ankle) questionable for Week 9

Freeman practiced today and is now questionable for Week 9. If he suits up on Sunday, it would turn the Broncos 2-man committee into a 3-man committee again. While Phillip Lindsay should remain the 1a back after turning 21 touches into 112 yards last week, he would probably be avoidable in the 3-man committee scenario at a price of $5,500 on DraftKings and given the tougher matchup at hand against a Texans defense ranked first in run DVOA.

Stefon Diggs

New England Patriots
11/02/18, 2:04 PM ET

WR Stefon Diggs (ribs) is questionable for Sunday

Diggs returned for a very limited practice on Friday but vowed he would play on Sunday. The Vikings pass offense has a great matchup with a struggling Lions secondary, however at less than 100%, Diggs may be the one who finds himself locked up with Darius Slay for most of the game. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Adam Thielen should remain QB Kirk Cousins’ favorite target as the Vikings should find less resistance in the slot, making Diggs more of a contrarian play on the outside if he plays.

Antonio Callaway

Dallas Cowboys
11/02/18, 1:47 PM ET

WRs Antonio Callaway (ankle) and Rashard Higgins (knee) both questionable for Week 9

With Higgins practicing the last couple days and Callaway being unable to practice Friday it appears the receivers may switch statuses for Week 9. Higgins could have some appeal at just $3,700 on DraftKings, though he’s had a 3-week layoff due to an MCL injury and Jarvis Landry should continue to be a target hog for the Browns as Mayfield’s first look on most passing downs.

Kenny Stills

New Orleans Saints
11/02/18, 1:28 PM ET

Kenny Stills (groin) is questionable for Week 9

Stills was absent from practice this week and looks to be on the wrong side of questionable for Week 9. The Dolphins will likely roll with DeVante Parker, Jakeem Grant, and Danny Amendola in 3-WR sets on Sunday against a surprisingly solid Jets secondary. None of them stick out at their prices in what projects to be the second-lowest scoring game on the slate. Stills had been turning in disappointing performances before getting injured and, if he does return this week, will have another receiver to compete with for targets with the emergence of DeVante Parker.

Torrey Smith

Carolina Panthers
11/02/18, 1:04 PM ET

WR Torrey Smith (knee) confirmed out for Week 9

With Smith out, D.J. Moore will again be locked in as the Panthers WR2 after going for over 100 total yards in Week 8. He’ll draw a great matchup against the worst pass defense in the league when the Panthers host the Bucs on Sunday and is a reasonable $4,300 on DraftKings.

Robbie Chosen

Washington Commanders
11/02/18, 1:01 PM ET

WRs Robby Anderson and Quincy Enunwa both questionable for Sunday

Both receivers got in limited practices Friday and would be readily welcomed back by a struggling Jets passing offense. If neither is able to play in Week 9, Jermaine Kearse could be a target monster again on Sunday against the Dolphins, though how effective those targets would be is up for debate. Enunwa had already established himself as rookie Sam Darnold’s most trusted pass-catcher prior to missing time and would likely see the largest target share if he’s able to return.

Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers
11/02/18, 12:42 PM ET

Strong Ceiling, High Floor

McCaffrey is a core option for me this week as he continues to see an absolutely dominant workload. The Bucs have struggled to defend RBs as pass catchers as they rank 29th in DVOA against the position. McCaffrey isn’t game script dependent and will be a focus of the offense regardless of if the Panthers jump out to an early lead or if they’re playing from behind. CMac has yet to put up a single digit fantasy performance this season and this week’s matchup gives him a strong ceiling to go along with his already high floor.

Rob Gronkowski

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
11/02/18, 12:49 PM ET

TE Rob Gronkowski (back) returns to practice on Friday

Gronk should now be on the right side of questionable for Sunday night’s game with the Packers after missing practice on Thursday. The tight end’s usage has been down this season while being a mainstay on the injury report, making him more of a contrarian play at his price across sites this week if he suits up. He does have a decent chance to see more than his season average of 6 targets a game in a projected shootout that should stay reasonably close.

Chris Thompson

Chicago Bears
11/02/18, 12:42 PM ET

RB Chris Thompson (ribs) not seen at practice Friday

Thompson appears doubtful for Sunday after a severely limited workload in Week 8. Look for the Redskins to heavily ride Adrian Peterson again in Week 9 where they come in as 2-point home favorites against the Falcons.

As reported by: Craig Hoffman Other tagged players: Adrian Peterson

Dalvin Cook

Dallas Cowboys
11/02/18, 3:16 PM ET

Plan is for RB Dalvin Cook (hamstring) to be on a limited snap count Sunday, likely 15-20 snaps

Cook practiced again on Friday and apparently the Vikings will not hold the injury-prone back out through their Week 10 bye as originally expected. Expect Latavius Murray to remain the lead back in Week 9 but to certainly have his snaps/touches scaled back relative to his workload the past few weeks, given that Cook is back in the fold. This should make both backs difficult to play on the Sunday slate at their prices, despite the nice home matchup with Detroit.
