Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.295 (Rank: 22) — Strikeout Rate: 23.2% (Rank: 24)
Pitchers per PA: 3.83 (Rank: 12)
Analysis: Teheran is in play when he pitches at home and he should be avoided when he pitches on the road. In his career, he has a 4.24 SIERA on the road with a strikeout rate of only 18.0%. The Orioles are a team that strikes out at a high rate, but they also hit right-handed pitching well, ranking tenth in team wOBA this season. If this game was being played in Turner Field, it may be a different story, but Teheran can continue to be avoided on the road.
Pitcher Rating:57.3
Ubaldo Jimenez : FD: $7,700 — DK: $7,200

Atlanta Braves Offense (2015)

Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.258 (Rank: 30) — Strikeout Rate: 21.7% (Rank: 22)
Pitchers per PA: 3.78 (Rank: 18)
Analysis: We are finally starting to see some cracks in the foundation. Over the last month of play, Jimenez has a 5.00 ERA (3.86 SIERA) with a strikeout rate of 19.2%. He still has good strikeout potential, but he is facing a Braves’ offense that has the fourth-lowest strikeout rate against right-handed pitching this season. The Braves also have their best hitter, Freddie Freeman, back in the lineup, which should help bolster their offense. The price point is appealing, but Jimenez should only be targeted in tournaments tonight at home in the hitter-friendly Camden Yards.
Pitcher Rating:71.8

Atlanta
The Braves see a favorable ballpark shift tonight play in the hitter-friendly Camden Yards. They still have one of the lowest team totals on the board, but they draw a decent matchup against Ubaldo Jimenez, who has given up a .335 wOBA to left-handed hitters over the last two seasons. Freddie Freeman and Nick Markakis (playing against his former team) are in play here, but they are both secondary options at their respective positions.

Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.333 (Rank: 9) — Strikeout Rate: 17.0% (Rank: 5)
Pitchers per PA: 3.80 (Rank: 14)
Analysis: Morgan is the lowest rated pitcher on the schedule tonight. In just over 27 innings of work this season, he has a 4.70 SIERA with a low strikeout rate of 15.4%. Tonight he squares off against the Blue Jays, who are ranked first in team wOBA and third in strikeout rate against left-handed pitching this season. Morgan also has to face them in the Rogers Centre, which is the American League’s version of Coors Field.

Pitchers per PA: 3.70 (Rank: 28)
Analysis: Doubront has been a serviceable starter for the Blue Jays this season, but his strikeouts have basically been non-existent over the last two seasons. During that stretch, he has a strikeout rate of 13.6% with a walk rate of 8.0%. The matchup against the Phillies may sound favorable, but they are actually ranked 11th in team wOBA against left-handed pitching this season. He should get plenty of run support, but he doesn’t provide enough upside to warrant fantasy consideration tonight.

The Blue Jays may be the top offense to target tonight, both in cash games and tournaments. They get to face rookie Adam Morgan in one of the most hitter-friendly ballparks in all of baseball. Morgan has given up a .388 wOBA to right-handed hitters this season, so load up on the Blue Jays righties. Analysis: Samardzija has a 2.31 ERA over the last month of play, but his indicators suggest that he is not pitching all that well. During that stretch, he has a 4.28 SIERA with a low strikeout rate of 16.6%. He should be avoided tonight against the Red Sox, who have the second-fewest strikeouts against right-handed pitching this season. The price point is appealing, but there is more risk than potential reward tonight with Samardzija.

Over the last month of play, he has a 4.26 SIERA with a strikeout rate of 20.1%. He does draw a favorable matchup against the White Sox, but their offense has been much better recently. Given the fact that this game is being played in the hitter-friendly Fenway Park, I will be avoiding Miley in all league formats.

The Red Sox draw a difficult matchup against Jeff Samardzija on paper, but as I mentioned above, he hasn’t been as sharp as his low ERA would suggest. Analysis: Shields has similar numbers to Jeff Samardzija over the last month of play, as his ERA is a full two runs lower than his SIERA is. The strikeout rate is back up though, which is a good sign. He draws a terrific matchup against the Mets, who are ranked 26th in team wOBA and 16th in strikeout rate against right-handed pitching this season. The upside is there, but there is no guarantee of run support with Noah Syndergaard on the mound for New York.

Analysis: Syndergaard has been outstanding this season, posting a 3.14 SIERA with a strikeout rate of 25.2%. He throws a lot of strikes and typically avoids walking many batters. He draws a favorable matchup tonight against the Padres, who are ranked 27th in team wOBA and 27th in strikeout rate against right-handed pitching this season. Syndergaard has a huge price difference on FanDuel ($8,800) and DraftKings ($10,700), making him a slightly better play on FanDuel.

Tampa Bay Rays Offense (2015)
vs. LH Pitching: wOBA: 0.321 (Rank: 6) — Strikeout Rate: 22.3% (Rank: 20)
Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.280 (Rank: 26) — Strikeout Rate: 20.9% (Rank: 20)

Analysis: There are trade rumors surrounding Price right now, which makes him a risky target tonight. He could technically get traded at any time, even during the game. There is a very small chance of that happening, but when you are paying up for a pitcher, you want some type of guaranteed production. Assuming he doesn’t get traded, he will have a little added motivation to pitch well tonight, as he is facing his former team. The Rays hit left-handed pitching well, but they do strikeout at a high rate. Given the circumstances, Price is a better tournament play tonight.

Jake Odorizzi : FD: $8,300 — DK: $8,600

Detroit Tigers Offense (2015)
vs. RH Pitching: wOBA: 0.330 (Rank: 2) — Strikeout Rate: 19.3% (Rank: 12)
Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.309 (Rank: 17) — Strikeout Rate: 21.1% (Rank: 21)
Pitchers per PA: 3.84 (Rank: 11)
Analysis: Odorizzi has not pitched well since coming back from injury, posting a 5.39 SIERA with a strikeout rate of only 16.2%. He does get to pitch at home tonight, but it’s against a very competent Tigers’ offense that is ranked second in team wOBA against right-handed pitching. Odorizzi is still priced as though he was in the same early season form and until he can string together a couple of quality starts, he can be avoided in all league formats.
Pitcher Rating:62.4

Detroit
The Tigers draw a decent matchup against Jake Odorizzi, but they have to face him in the pitcher-friendly Tropicana Field. They are small favorites in this game, but the total is set at only 6.5 runs. Victor Martinez and Ian Kinsler are both in play here, but they are secondary options at their respective positions tonight.

Tampa Bay
As of right now, David Price is scheduled to pitch for the Tigers tonight. If he does not get traded, the Rays’ offense should be avoided altogether. Since the start of the 2014 season, Price has held left and right-handed hitters under a .295 wOBA.
