Due to the need to finish yesterday's game first, a delay is "probable" during the second game in Chicago today

The fact that the White Sox and Tigers will have to finish yesterday’s game before than can begin Sunday’s originally scheduled game means that a delay is “probable” according to the Roth report. Be cognizant of a possible delay if you are using any pitchers in the second DET/CWS game.

Washington RHBs look to expose Christian Friedrich's below average peripheral numbers against RHBs

Christian Friedrich is striking out righties 18% of the time, giving up a 36% fly ball percentage, and giving up hard and medium contact 83% of the time. Jayson Werth (wRC+ of 182 vs. LHP), Anthony Rendon (wRC+ of 131 vs. LHP), and Chris Heisey (wRC+ of 130 vs. LHP), are all in play and look to make Friedrich pay for allowing such hard contact.

Edinson Volquez is not untouchable and the Rangers are finally hitting the ball again

The Rangers are finally hitting the ball hard again and look to get to Volquez today in a spot that should not be overly popular. Rangers stacks could begin with Ian Desmond and a surging Nomar Mazara. Both Rangers sluggers have wRC+ totals around 120 and will be batting 3rd and 2nd in the lineup, respectively. Volquez has not overpowered batters from either side of the plate, K-ing less than 18% of batters.

Tommy Milone struggles against both sides of the plate, leaving all Red Sox in play

Tommy Milone surely will be targeted with Red Sox right-handed bats, but do not overlook his splits against left-handed swingers. Milone’s xFIP of 5.91 allowed to LHBs is plenty worth targeting, and Jackie Bradley Jr. is just the man for the job. Bradley Jr. has a wRC+ total of 106 versus lefties and will be batting 5th for the Sox today.

Tim Lincecum continues to display reverse splits in 2016, a trend he has shown throughout his entire career

Tim Lincecum simply cannot put away RHBs, striking out RHBs 13% of the time. This contact has shown to lead to production, leading to an xFIP of 6.56 for Lincecum against righties this year. Still, Tim’s fly ball percentage is a respectable 26%, which would lead us to believe his 33% HR/FB will not continue forever. However, until his medium and hard contact comes down (47% and 38%), using right-handed batters against Lincecum may continue to be a viable strategy. Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa lead the way for the Astros, both exhibiting plenty of power versus RHBs, possessing ISO totals of 0.191 and 0.248, respectively.

In limited work, Vance Worley has struggled this year, exhibiting an xFIP over 4 against both LHBs and RHBs

Worley has an xFIP over 4 against RHBs and LHBs, while striking out batters less than 19% of the time. He will face the Indians today, a team with capable left-handed bats. Look to Carlos Santana and Jason Kipnis to do some damage, each sporting an ISO of 0.286 and 0.242 against RHPs this year, respectively. Both players strike out less than 19% of the time against RHPs and look to be fantastic high floor options at 1B and 2B this afternoon.

Rickie Weeks Jr. batting cleanup for the Diamondbacks against Brandon Finnegan

Rickie Weeks Jr. gets some opportunities to bat 4th for the Diamondbacks when they face left-handed pitchers. Weeks is facing Brandon Finnegan today, a pitcher with an xFIP of 5.07 and a HR/9 of 2.03. Finnegan’s 19% K percentage against RHBs is respectable, but Weeks has shown he will not strike out too often versus LHP, only 11.6% of the time this year.

Blue Jays facing off against Miley, a pitcher with a K% of 16% against RHBs

Wade Miley has an xFIP of 4.67 against RHBs and will be pitching in Toronto today. Josh Donaldson and Edwin Encarnacion are the obvious targets, sporting wRC+ totals of 185 and 141, respectively. Over the last 7 days, Donaldson is striking out only 12% of the time, indicating that Josh may be seeing the ball well right now. He is an elite player to spend up on a game being played in Toronto.

Astros RH bats in a great spot at home against Tim Lincecum

Tim Lincecum has showed some reverse split tendencies over the course of the past few seasons and that will play perfectly into the hands of the Astros this afternoon. His 2016 sample size is still small, but he’s managed to walk more RH hitters than he’s struck out, and has allowed a whopping 13 ERs in just 12 IP when facing them. Lincecum has had some unfortunate luck to start the year (his BABIP is over .400 against both right and left handers), but he’s allowing a lot of hard contact to hitters from both sides which probably won’t lead to a dramatic drop in his BABIP. Jose Altuve (.400 wOBA, .191 ISO) is an across the board contributor that should be considered heavily in all formats, as should Carlos Correa (.382 wOBA, .248 ISO), who has been much better against right-handed pitching in 2016. George Springer, Marwin Gonzalez (who will hit second), Luis Valbuena and Evan Gattis are also fine targets in this match-up.

A starting pitcher with a 13% strike out percentage over the past few weeks + Cargo/Blackmon = Trouble

Matt Wisler is striking out a meager 13% of batters over his last few starts. Pitching to contact in Coors Field generally is a poor strategy for starting pitchers, especially when the left-handed bats on the other team are Carlos Gonzalez and Charlie Blackmon. DFS players “may” force Coors Field plays from time to time when Colorado is playing at home, but the lefty swinging bats (and Arenado) will be worthy of their high ownership tonight. Cargo, Blackmon, and Arenado have wRC+ totals of 137, 122, and 120, respectively. If the players at Coors Field were ever worthy of the 30% ownership they often garner, it would be tonight.
