Davis, Hill, and Cunningham have all been officially listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the San Antonio Spurs due to various physical ailments. Tim Frazier has also been upgraded to probable despite previously being ruled out for at least a week’s worth of games. The Pelicans have a difficult matchup with San Antonio, but this is still certainly a situation worth monitoring, as the availability of Davis and the rest of the Pelicans has the potential to significantly alter the landscape of Sunday’s slates.

Anthony Morrow starting for Victor Oladipo (wrist) tonight; Jerami Grant to the bench
Oladipo will not play in tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns due to a sprained right wrist that has kept him sidelined for the Thunder’s previous two games as well. Anthony Morrow will be inserted to the starting lineup at shooting guard, sending Grant to the bench and Roberson to his customary small forward postion. Both Morrow and Roberson are viable punt options in tournaments on the all day slates, though it’s debatable whether either player really has the necessary ceiling. It really goes without saying that Russell Westbrook is the top overall play on tonight’s slate, but Steven Adams also sees a 4.7% usage rate increase over his season average (16.9%) with Oladipo off the court, and he could be a sneaky option despite the less than ideal matchup with Tyson Chandler defense.

West has officially been upgraded to questionable for tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers due to a right hip contusion. Zaza Pachulia is also listed as questionable with a wrist injury, and if both big men are able to play, their presence in the rotation would remove JaVale McGee from consideration in all formats.In fact, we can go back to safely ignoring all three, if West and Pachulia are ultimately able to play.

Warren and Len will play in tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder after previously being listed as questionable on the Suns’ injury report with a head and hip injury respectively. According to Suns coach Earl Watson, Warren is likely to come off the bench in his return, meaning P.J. Tucker should remain in the starting lineup for at least one more game. The presence of Len in the lineup will drastically cut into the playing time of Marquese Chriss, who has played over 30 minutes in the Suns’ previous two games, and reduce the minute floor of Tyson Chandler. All three players can be ignored until we get a better idea of how Watson’s updated front court rotation shakes out.

Thompson has been upgraded to probable for tomorrow’s game against the Brooklyn Nets due to a sore right knee that caused him to be an extremely late scratch in Friday’s loss to the Lakers. Thompson’s potential absence wouldn’t do a ton to move the needle in this Sixers’ rotation with everyone healthy, though there may be a few extra minutes to go around for Nik Stauskas and Dario Saric, assuming Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot doesn’t enter the rotation.

Delaney has been downgraded to questionable in advance of tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets due to a right ankle injury. If Delaney were to be ruled out, expect Tim Hardaway Jr. and Kent Bazemore to assume a majority of the ball handling responsibilities with the second unit when Dennis Schroder is on the bench, as the Hawks do not have another true point guard on their active roster. Obviously Delaney’s potential absence, would be a nice boost to the projected fantasy value of Schroder since he will likely see extended run in a plus matchup against Kemba Walker and the Hornets back court defense.

Johnson and Ellington have officially been listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Boston Celtics due to an illness and strained right hamstring respectively. If both players were to be ruled out, Goran Dragic and Josh Richardson would be the primary beneficiaries of additional playing time, as Rodney McGruder would be the only other true guard active and available for Miami with Dion Waiters still sidelined. Justise Winlsow would also likely find his way back into the starting lineup out of necessity, assuming the Heat coaching staff believes he is ready to handle the extra minutes after recently returning from an extended absence due to a wrist injury. With Johnson, Ellington, and Waiters off the court this season, Dragic unsurprisingly leads the Heat with a 32.3% usage rate, a sizable 4.0% increase over his season average. Needless to say, Dragic would be an elite option in all formats for Sunday’s slates.

Rose’s status for tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets is up in the air, according Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek, due to persistent back spasms. If Rose is unable to suit up, it would be an obvious bump to the fantasy value of Brandon Jennings, as he would almost certainly draw the start at point guard once again in Rose’s absence. Additionally, Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis would absorb some additional usage vacated by Rose in the starting unit and would be elite options in a pace up game against the Nuggets. In fact, Anthony has recorded an elite 38.7% usage rate with Rose off the court this season, which is a 7.4% increase over his season average.

Mbah a Moute will not play in tomorrow’s game against the Washington Wizards after previously being listed as doubtful on the Clippers injury report due to a sore right shoulder. This is the third consecutive game that Mbah a Moute will be sidelined with the aforementioned shoulder injury, and Austin Rivers will likely draw the start at small forward once again in his absence.

Favors will play in tonight’s game against the Dallas Mavericks, but will remain on a minutes restriction of 10-15 minutes off the bench. This isn’t surprising whatsoever, as we should expect the Jazz coaching staff to bring Favors along slowly given his long injury history. In his absence, Rudy Gobert had really blossomed into a top NBA center, so it will be interesting to see how the return of Favors affects Gobert and the rest of this Jazz starting five once he is fully healthy.
As reported by: Tony Jones Chris Andersen (knee) will miss the remainder of season
Andersen will not play again this season after suffering a torn ACL during Friday’s practice. The injury will require season-ending surgery. Andersen played in just 12 games this season and averaged only 9.5 minutes per game, so his absence will not have a substantial impact on the Cavaliers rotation. A corresponding roster move has to yet to be announced by the Cavaliers, so we should expect James Jones to get some additional run at power foward, at least for the interim, while Channing Frye could see more minutes as the backup center to Tristan Thompson, the only “true” center currently on Cleveland’s roster. With that said, neither player should see enough of a minutes boost to be fantasy relevant on a nightly basis.

Noel is expected to play in tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers after being listed as questionable on the Sixers’ injury report due to a sprained left ankle. His presence in the rotation will take away minutes from the likes of Ersan Ilyasova and Dario Saric, making it even tougher to trust either player, even in tournaments, with The Process and Okafor both active and playing their normal minute allotment.

Mbah a Moute will not play in tonight’s game against the Miami Heat after previously being listed as doubtful on the Clippers injury report due to a sore right shoulder. This is the second consecutive game that Mbah a Moute will be sidelined with the aforementioned shoulder injury, and Austin Rivers will draw the start at small forward once again in his absence. Rivers is certainly a viable punt option for his price tag across the industry, though he will likely carry higher ownership than he probably should in tournaments after Wednesday’s huge performance. This is certainly an interesting spot to fade Rivers in a matchup against this stout Miami squad.

Solomon Hill (personal) ruled out for tonight
Hill will not play in tonight’s game against the Houston Rockets as he deals with a personal matter. According to Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry, Hill’s wife is in labor and they are awaiting the birth of their first child. There has yet to be any confirmation as to who will start at small forward in his absence, but with Tyreke Evans also ruled out for rest, expect the Pelicans to run out a lot of three-guard lineups. This is a bump to the fantasy outlook of Langston Galloway, Tim Frazier, and Buddy Hield, though the trio are better reserved as tournament lineup fillers this evening.
