Kobe Bryant starting against the Clippers on Tuesday
Kobe Bryant will play against the Clippers and is expected to play on both nights of the back-to-back. Tonight is a Clippers home and they are planning a video tribute for Bryant. Kobe had 48.5 DKFP against the Celtics on Sunday and took 28 shots in 33 minutes. Bryant is not expected to shoot that many times on Tuesday but makes a nice tournament option with his salary at a punt level. There’s not a ton of downside but coming off a big game his ownership levels are expected to be high.

Paul Pierce (ankle) probable for Wednesday
Paul Pierce continues to be doubtful for Tuesday but is probable for Wednesday. The Clippers and playing the Lakers in a home-and-home back-to-back where Blake Griffin is expected to rest one game. We should have an update soon on the status of Griffin and Pierce.

Bogut will return to the starting lineup against the Timberwolves on Tuesday. Bogut will be on a minutes restriction meaning he is not a viable DFS option. With Bogut returning, Festus Ezelil, Anderson Varejao, and Mo Speights also become irrelevant in DFS. Andre Iguodala is also expected to return but he will also be on a minutes restriction. Iguodala is not a viable option until the Warriors say he will play his full allotment of minutes.

Anderson is expected to start with Rudy Gay resting on Tuesday. Anderson had 30 DraftKings fantasy points on Saturday and is a viable option due to his minimum level salary against the Blazers. Gay will look to return to the lineup against the Timberwolves on Thursday.

Arthur will miss his second consecutive due to a knee injury. Joffrey Lauvergne saw 24 minutes against the Kings on Saturday and could be used again as Kenneth Faried’s backup. Lauvergne has a nice amount of upside with his salary at basically at a minimum across the industry. Jusuf Nurkic will likely see playing time if Nikola Jokic is to get into foul trouble.

Rose will start against the Grizzlies on Tuesday with a large sleeve on his elbow. Expect Rose to be slightly limited after missing two games with the injury. Jimmy Butler and Pau Gasol will lose some value with Rose returning to the starting lineup. Gasol is coming off back-to-back 40+ fpts games and is still a viable tournament option against his former team.

Lowry and DeRozan will return to the starting lineup against the Hornets on Tuesday. The recency bias will likely cause them to be low-owned, making them nice tournament options. With Batum out of the lineup, DeRozan likely has the easier matchup against Jeremy Lin.

Lin will be replacing Nicolas Batum in the starting lineup. Lin is an elite option and will likely have a low ownership percentage with the news coming out so late. There is no timetable for Batum’s return.

Wade will be returning to the starting lineup against the Pistons. Wade is coming off an injury and will likely be under-owned on an eleven-game slate. Gerald Green will go back to the bench and is not relevant in DFS anymore.

Jon Leuer will miss his third consecutive game due to a sprained ankle. Tyson Chandler and Alex Len will continue to start for the Suns. Tyson Chandler is in a nice spot against the Hawks and has averaged 40.03 DKFP in his last three starts.

There were conflicting reports on the Pelicans starters but we have confirmation that Luke Babbitt will continue to start. Babbitt is a strong option against the Sixers on Tuesday. Babbitt is averaging 31.83 FDFP in his last three starts. James Ennis will come off the bench on Tuesday.

Tim Frazier will be making his first for the Pelicans against the Sixers on Tuesday. Frazier is a strong cash game play and is expected to have heavy ownership in tournaments. Toney Douglas will continue to start alongside Frazier and will be an under-owned option coming off a bad game against Brooklyn. Dante Cunningham will be the low-owned option for the Pelicans starter and is a strong tournament option.

Jon Leuer has missed the past two games with an ankle injury and was downgraded to doubtful. We should have an update soon regarding Leuer’s status. If Leuer misses the game, Mirza Teletovic will continue to take his spot off the bench. Teletovic has been averaging 31.42 DraftKings over his last four games, making him a viable tournament option against the Hawks.

Kyrie Irving will start against the Bucks on Tuesday. Irving missed the last game with an ankle injury but looks good to go for this game. Irving gets rookie Rasha Vaughn guarding him, making Irving a strong sleeper option for Tuesday. Irving does not have a ton of upside with LeBron James and Kevin Love in the lineup.

Khris Middleton has been ruled out of the consecutive game due to a thigh strain. He expects to play again this season but no timetable has been given for his return. With the Bucks not in the playoffs, there is not much reason to bring Middleton back. Jerryd Bayless will miss his third consecutive game and Rashad Vaughn will start in his place. Vaughn returned 5x in his last start but does have much upside for an eleven-game slate.
