Dion Lewis officially active Sunday
Lewis will make his 2016 debut this afternoon against the 49ers. He’ll likely be limited in his first game, but will cut into James White’s workload a bit. The Patriots are 12-point favorites today, which normally means they’ll run LeGarrette Blount a bunch. He’s coming off a massive three-touchdown game against an elite defense. He’ll have a much easier matchup today as the 49ers have one the worst rush defenses in the league.

Chiefs CB Marcus Peters OUT Sunday
The Chiefs might not have an answer for Mike Evans today now that Peters is officially inactive. Phillip Gaines will defend Evans the most today, and he has the second-lowest PFF grade among qualifying corners (39.5). Evans was quiet last week in a tough matchup with Bears’ corner Tracy Porter, only catching four passes for 66 yards. The most surprising thing was Evans only received five targets after hitting double digits for seven straight games. Expect Evans to get back up over ten today. With Beckham in a tough matchup with Porter today, and both he and Antonio Brown battling tough weather, Evans may be the safest elite receiver today.

Smith is very important to the Ravens’ secondary. A good example of this is their Week 6 game with the Giants. He held Odell Beckham to under 20 yards in the first half, but was forced to leave early in the second after suffering a concussion. OBJ went off for over 200 yards and two touchdowns after Smith left. He was expected to shadow Dez Bryant today, which means Bryant will have a much easier matchup. He’s exceeded 100 yards and scored in two of the three games he’s played since returning to the Cowboys’ lineup.

He’s a healthy scratch today. Will Tye will be the leading tight end for the Giants when they take on the Bears this afternoon. He’s averaged 7.5 targets over the past two weeks and makes for a sneaky tournament tight end. Chicago ranks 21st in TE DVOA, and New York’s primary receiver, Odell Beckham, will have his hands full with Tracy Porter. Tye is at or near the minimum across the industry, and he now projects as our third points-per-dollar tight end on DraftKings.

Patrick Peterson will move into the slot and shadow Stefon Diggs today. Peterson has a stellar 82.6 PFF grade this season, and he’s only allowed 0.18 fantasy points per route run, which is tied for the fifth-lowest mark among qualifying corners. With Diggs in a tough matchup, quarterback Sam Bradford may give Adam Thielen and Cordarrelle Patterson extra targets. Minnesota will likely pass a lot this afternoon as Arizona ranks 9th in rush DVOA, and the Vikings are struggling to run the ball. They average 69.8 rushing yards per game, which is the worst rate in the league. Both Thielen and Patterson are interesting tournament options today that will come with ownership around 1.0% or less.

Heavy winds expected in Cleveland, New York, and Washington
There are a few games that may be impacted by weather today. Most notably, the Steelers-Browns game will see sustained winds between 20-30 mph and will likely experience some snow showers. Vegas has taken notice; the game total has dropped from 49.5 to 43.5 points. It’s enough to fade both kickers, but the receivers and quarterbacks only take minor downgrades. Running backs will see a slight bump up in production. Le’Veon Bell projects as our top running back on both FanDuel and DraftKings. Cook (ankle) is all set to make his return today against the Redskins. He won’t be a great fantasy option this week as he only averaged 3.7 targets per game when healthy. Aaron Rodgers will continue to heavily target his receivers. Jordy Nelson will see Josh Norman quite a bit on Sunday, but Randall Cobb and Davante Adams have much easier matchups. Adams will have the best of the trio; he’ll line up across from Bashaud Breeland most of the day, who has a poor 42.2 PFF grade this season.

Smith (shoulder) is not going to be able to suit up today against the Patriots. He hasn’t really been much of a factor this season, and has only averaged 3.0 targets per game over the past three. Quinton Patton has emerged as Colin Kaepernick’s favorite receiver; he’s led the team in targets in three of the past four weeks. The 49ers are 12-point underdogs, so they should be throwing quite a bit today. Patton is worth consideration in tournaments.

Thomas Rawls is back for the first time since Week 2, but the rookie Prosise will lead the backfield against the Eagles today. Ian Rapoport reported that Rawls will still see “plenty of snaps.” Prosise broke out against the Patriots last week, piling up 153 total yards on 24 touches. He’ll be in for another big workload today even with Rawls getting worked into the offense. The Seahawks are 6.5-point favorites, so game flow should help him. Even if it ends up closer, or Seattle gets behind, Prosise will still be a good value as he’s an excellent receiver.

They’re both expected to play Monday night against the Texans. Latavius Murray has the better matchup of the two; Houston ranks 11th in pass DVOA and 24th against the rush, plus Oakland is favored by six points. He’s coming off a huge three-touchdown game against the Broncos. He added 127 total yards on 21 touches in that one, which marked his third game in a row exceeding 15 touches. Prior to his toe injury, he hadn’t done that once, so it looks like Raiders have a lot more faith in him. Cooper will be guarded by A.J. Bouye most of the night. Bouye has been stellar this season, earning a 91.4 PFF grade this season, the highest among qualifying cornerbacks. On the other side, Michael Crabtree will have a much easier time with Jonathan Joseph, who has a poor 51.7 score.

After opening up with an over/under at 49.5, the Steelers-Browns game total is now set at 44.5 points. There are sustained winds of 30 mph expected in Cleveland tomorrow with a good chance for rain and snow. While this is a notable downgrade to kickers (don’t play them), it’s only a slight bump down for receivers and quarterbacks. On the bright side, it’s an upgrade for running backs. Despite the weather, Antonio Brown still projects as our top receiver in terms of raw points, and Roethlisberger remains our QB4 on both FanDuel and DraftKings. Le’Veon Bell stays as our RB1 on both sites. The weather doesn’t mean skill players need to be faded. Still, fantasy players will do just that, which actually provides an advantage because elite options will come with lower ownerships. While it’s true that less scoring is expected, Pittsburgh is still implied to put up 26.25 points, and they face a horrendous defense. We’ll be keeping an eye on the situation and have a full forecast for the entire NFL tomorrow morning.

Fuller (leg) will be a game time decision Monday night, but coach Bill O’Brien was optimistic about his chances to play. The Texans play the Raiders in Mexico City this week. Pro Football Focus is projecting Fuller to run most of his routes out of the slot, which would set up a nice matchup with Raiders’ corner D.J. Hayden, who has a below-average 54.8 grade this season. Since opening his career with back-to-back 100-yard games, he’s been ice cold, only topping 31 yards once (in Week 5 he had a 7/81/1 line against the Titans). Of course, his poor play is at least partially due to a combination of injuries and poor quarterback play. He’s still dealing with both problems, so he’s a very risky tournament option at best. His ridiculous speed and knack for big plays keeps him on the fantasy radar though, despite everything else.

Davis has a sprained ankle, but is still expected to play through a questionable tag. He’ll guard Rishard Matthews on about half of his routes tomorrow. Matthews is on a bit of a hot streak, catching four touchdowns over the past three games. If Davis, who has a solid 71.1 PFF grade, ends up missing the game, it would be an upgrade for the Titans’ receiver.

Wheaton (shoulder) is done for the season. This move won’t make an impact on the Steelers’ players going forward as he didn’t do much this year. Antonio Brown and Eli Rogers will continue to be the top wide receivers in Pittsburgh. They travel to Cleveland tomorrow where some bad weather is expected. Winds are going to be around 30 mph, and there’s a chance of rain and snow starting around 2 pm. We’ll have a full NFL forecast tomorrow morning.
