Shaun Draughn to draw another start at RB for SF
With Carlos Hyde out of action, Shaun Draughn is expected to draw another start at RB Sunday against the Seahawks. Draughn finished with 20 touches (16 carries, 4 receptions) in his first start back in Week 9 against Atlanta, and his workload should approach that mark again this week. The matchup with Seattle’s front-seven is much tougher, so limit your expectations for what Draughn is able to provide with his touches. San Francisco has one of the lowest team totals in recent years, so there is no reason to target their offense against Seattle. Draughn is nothing more than a dart throw GPP play.

Dontrelle Inman will be Chargers #2 reciever
With Keenan Allen on the shelf for the season and Malcolm Floyd out for at least the upcoming game vs. the Chiefs, Stevie Johnson and Dontrelle Inman become the top two receivers for the pass-heavy Chargers offense. Philip Rivers throws the ball more than any quarterback in the league and this game should be a tight one, so expect another outing where Rivers could very well throw the ball at least 45 or 50 times. With tight ends Antonio Gates and Ladarius Green both nursing injuries as well (Green is questionable, Gates is probable), this opens up a few more targets to the depleted Chargers skill positions. Danny Woodhead will look to eat up a few of Rivers’ passes, along with a few to Gates or Green, but beyond that the Chargers have no depth at the WR spot and both Johnson and Inman could be poised for big games. Johnson will be one of the top options on the slate, but Inman could be a nice, lesser-owned GPP pivot off of Johnson with high upside.
Danny Amendola to see "managed" snap count on Sunday
It appears as if Danny Amendola will not be the only replacement for the injured Julian Edelman. It looks like it will be a combination of Amendola, Keshawn Martin, Aaron Dobson, and Chris Harper. Reports are Amendola will likely get 70-75% of the snaps out of those four (he is currently seeing 59% of the snaps for the Patriots). While this is a slight hit to Amendola’s DFS value, he still may be in play this week as he faces a soft Bills secondary in a game that has the Patriots as the highest projected point total of the week. Obviously Gronk is always in play, but this is also good news for fellow WR Brandon LaFell who may get a slight increase in DFS value, likely seeing upwards of 90-95% of the Patriots snaps. With that being said, Amendola still has the best WR/CB matchup as a slot receiver and LaFell may have a little tougher go vs. the outside corners of Buffalo.

The assumption all week has been that McFadden will play, and Friday night team owner Jerry Jones confirmed that he will be good to go. This news confirms that McFadden should get the nod and will be matched up against a below-average Miami Dolphins defense that allowed 222 yards and 3 TDs to the Bills’ RBs just 2 weeks ago. McFadden is only $6,800 on FD and an especially enticing $5,000 on DK. Possibly adding to his already massive work load, it is worth noting there is an 80% chance of thunderstorms in Miami tomorrow and with the possible return of Tony Romo at QB, they may try to ease him back into the passing game, leading to more touches for McFadden. Considering the Cowboys really don’t have many other options at RB, Run DMC is squarely in play for both cash games and GPPs this week.

Tavon Austin (15.03% POW, 19.05% RZ POW) is 5th among all WRs in percentage of workload, which is somewhat surprising. Austin leads all WRs in red-zone POW, although it’s worth noting his team has had far fewer red-zone opportunities than most. Still, he’s being used when they get down there, and the quarterback play can’t get any worse with Case Keenum. Austin will also have matchups against Baltimore’s outside corners, both of whom have struggled in coverage this season. Fire him up as a high-upside GPP play that is still priced in the mid-to-low tier of the WR salary pool.
Jason Witten with nice against-the-grain upside in Week 11
Witten has to be loving the fact that he’ll get Tony Romo back this week. In the first two games of the season when Romo was healthy, Witten combined for 15-116-2 against the Giants and Eagles. Since the Weeden/Cassel combination took over in Week 3, Witten hasn’t found the end-zone and has reached double-digit FPs (FD scoring) just once. That should change this week against a Miami defense that has allowed the 2nd most FPs to TEs, including the most receptions and receiving yards per game to the position. Miami has faced a few of the league’s better TEs (Rob Gronkowski, Jordan Reed, Charles Clay, Delanie Walker), but teams have been choosing to attack with TEs due to solid CB play (all three of MIAs top CBs have earned grades of 70 or better according to PFF grading). Miami’s pass rush can also force shorter, quicker routes, something that plays very much into Witten’s favor. He’s also second among TEs in percentage of workload, and most of that has come without Tony Romo throwing him the football. This is a GPP-only recommendation, but it’s one with some contrarian upside.
Carlos Hyde to miss a third straight game on Sunday
Carlos Hyde will not play Sunday against the Seahawks. It’s an absolutely brutal spot for the 49ers offense, as they’ll travel to Seattle with one of the lowest team totals in recent years. With Hyde out, expect Shaun Draughn to once again carry the load out of the backfield, although he’s not playable unless you’re considering him as a contrarian deep-GPP play. The entire 49ers offense is best avoided in Week 11.

Priced at just $7,100 on FanDuel and an absurd $4,500 on DraftKings, West is the RB to own in cash games. He’s a justifiable tournament fade given his sky high ownership (36% in Field Report, highest of any player in Week 11), but he’s going to be tough to pass up in cash games given his usage and plus matchup. West has carried the ball at least 20 times in each of the past three games, and has scored a total of 4 TDs in that span. He’s also facing off against the league’s worst run defense, giving him a very high floor given his price. Frank Gore is an interesting player to pivot to if you are not trying to heavily roster West in tournaments.
Adrian Peterson probable for Sunday
Peterson was limited all week in practice but will be good to go Sunday against the Packers. Green Bay owns a middle of the road run defense and game flow isn’t expected to work in Peterson’s favor, but his monster usage and stability in the offense keeps him entrenched as a potential cash game play. He’s obviously a very nice high-upside option in tournaments that will likely go underowned. Per the RotoGrinders Field Report, Peterson was owned in just 8.4% of leagues, leaving him as the 9th most popular RB.

Michael Floyd will be a game-time decision Sunday. Bruce Arians has said that “if Floyd can run, we can use him” so it at least appears that Floyd has a slightly better than 50-50 shot of suiting up. The Bengals have a very solid secondary so Floyd isn’t a high end value target even if he plays, but it’s worth noting Adam Jones (who has been excellent in coverage this season) is doubtful. Larry Fitzgerald will very likely see double-digit targets, although his matchup with Leon Hall isn’t a good one either. John or Jaron Brown will eat up the snaps on the outside if Floyd isn’t able to play.

Floyd has been ruled out for Week 11 after leaving the Chargers Week 9 contest with a shoulder injury. This leaves Stevie Johnson and Dontrelle Inman as the only real threats at WR for San Diego. Johnson is still near minimum price on many DFS outlets, making him a fine play in any format. He saw 10 target in Week 9, which was the first game Keenan Allen had fully missed. With Antonio Gates and Ladarius Green also banged up, expect Johnson and Inman to see plenty of work Sunday. Danny Woodhead also benefits as a result.
As reported by: Eric Williams Alshon Jeffery doesn't practice all week, listed as questionable
Jeffery wasn’t able to practice at all this week and is genuinely questionable for Sunday. The Bears desperately need him to suit up if they have any hope of taking down the Broncos, as they are already expected to be without Matt Forte and may also be without Eddie Royal once again. Jeffery will have a tough match-up on his hands regardless of where he lines up, with all three of the Broncos top corners grading out well according to PFF. Even if he plays, he’s only usable in tournaments.

There is no doubt that Hopkins will start on Sunday. He’s the Texans only real hope of creating offense against a tough Jets defense that is stout against both the run and the pass. Hopkins is expected to be shadowed by Darrelle Revis, which sounds scary on the surface but it may not be much of a deterrent for T.J. Yates in terms of targeting Hopkins. Revis didn’t allow much to Sammy Watkins in the Jets Thursday night game with Buffalo last week, but Revis was burned quite a few times on plays that didn’t materialize into big gains. While Revis is still one of the league’s better cover corners, Hopkins is the superior talent and his target totals should be through the roof once again.

The Broncos #2 WR is practicing today – a good sign that he will play Sunday. With an unknown commodity in Brock Osweiler manning the helm it’s uncertain how Sanders will fare but it’d be hard for it to be worse than how he’s fared thus far with Manning leading the way. It’s probably best to steer clear for now but there is an argument to be made to use Sanders in a GPP lineup or two.

Vincent Jackson questionable but very active in practice
The veteran Bucs WR is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game but was very active in practice today which is a good sign he will be able to play. This can only help the value of Jameis Winston and doesn’t impact Mike Evans much as he’ll still be a target monster. Jackson is still probably best avoided for DFS purposes, at least until he has proven he can stay on the field.
