Darren McFadden expected to see heavy workload vs. MIA
This was expected to be the case anyway, but ESPN’s Ed Werder is reporting that the Cowboys will give McFadden as many snaps as he can handle. Newly signed Robert Turbin is the backup behind DMC, with Rod Smith acting as the #3. Neither Turbin or Smith are expected to see more than a handful of snaps. McFadden is a very strong play against a Dolphins defense that is allowing the 2nd most FPs to RBs this season. He’s playable in any format and is still priced towards the mid-range of the RB pool.

Emmanuel Sanders expected to play Sunday
Despite being listed as questionable with ankle/finger injuries, Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders is expected to play today against Chicago. It’s tough to know what to expect out of the Denver WRs with Brock Osweiler taking over at QB, and Sanders’ presence does make it much harder to justify Demaryius Thomas as anything more than a GPP target. While the match-up with Chicago’s secondary is a good one, treat the Denver wideouts as GPP options until we see Osweiler prove he can consistently get them the ball.

With Corey Brown doubtful, Funchess is expected to draw the start in his place Sunday vs. Washington. While he was thought to be a potential replacement for Kelvin Benjamin back in the summer, Funchess has gotten off to a slow start to his NFL career. He hasn’t been a factor in two WR sets most of the season, but should see a large increase in his snap count today with Brown banged up. It’s going to be really tough to justify using him in a cash game, but there is definitely tournament appeal with Funchess.

While the Bears have yet to officially rule out Matt Forte, this is a good indication that will happen soon. Langford has come firing out of the gate in his first two career starts, posting monster fantasy performances in each and looking very much like an option for the Bears down the road. He’s in a very tough spot this week against Denver, but Chicago is expected to hang around in this game and should be able to stay balanced throughout. While he’s not a cash game target this week, Langford does have GPP appeal given how cheap he still is.

While we likely won’t have any clarification on this until later this afternoon (CIN/ARZ is the Sunday night game), it’s definitely best to avoid Michael Floyd given the fact that he may not even play. He’ll apparently be limited even if he is able to suit up, and given what the Cardinals have done with John Brown in the past (had him suit up without playing a snap before the team’s bye), Floyd may get similar treatment. John Brown is expected to play, and while his match-up with the Bengals outside CBs isn’t ideal, Adam Jones is doubtful and Brown should see plenty of Dre Kirkpatrick, who has been a weak spot in the Cincinnati secondary.

It feels like he’s been questionable forever, but ASJ is still not healthy enough to play this week. While he’s been able to log limited practices in recent weeks, it’s apparently not enough to get him on the field on Sundays. Look for some combination of Brandon Myers and Luke Stocker to continue to fill in. With Vincent Jackson back this week, some of the pressure will be taken off of Mike Evans.

Green is not expected to make his return today. The Bolts are very thin in terms of pass catching options, so Green must not be terribly close to suiting up. Antonio Gates is probable and should play, and he’s among the top overall options at the position with Keenan Allen, Malcom Floyd and Green all expected to sit. Look for Gates to approach double-digit targets against Kansas City, making him a viable option in any format today.

Alshon Jeffery is not expected to play Sunday vs. Denver. He wasn’t able to get on the practice field Thursday or Friday, and will miss yet another game in his contract year. With Jeffery on the shelf, look for Martellus Bennett and Marquess Wilson to lead the way in targets. Wilson should play most if not all of the offensive snaps with Jeffery out and while this is expected to be a close game, the Bears should be throwing the ball plenty. He’s a viable punt play in any format. Bennett also sees a nice uptick in value with Jeffery out, as he should be the top option in the red-zone.

There were reports that he would not play earlier in the week, but he’s apparently feeling good enough to go today. With Austin Seferian-Jenkins still out, he and Mike Evans should eat up the large majority of Jameis Winston’s targets. Evans should be downgraded slightly, although it does help that the Eagles defense won’t be able to completely key in on him in the secondary. Both Jackson and Evans could exceed double-digit targets today. Evans is now best used as a GPP option, something that also applies to Jackson.

The Patriots have announced that Keshawn Martin is questionable for Monday’s game vs. the Bills. If Martin does suit up, he will likely see a large increase in his recent snap count considering that Julian Edelman is out for at least the next several weeks. Edelman leaves a large void to be filled in the Patriots high-powered offense that will likely be filled by a few different players. Danny Amendola, Aaron Dobson, and Chris Harper will all likely see an increase in snaps along with Martin. This is tricky because we likely won’t know much more on his status until Monday night. It would be a risky play on sites without a late swap such as FanDuel, but could make for a nice pivot option on late-swap sites such as DraftKings.

Eric Ebron is a very nice DK punt play vs. OAK
This is your weekly reminder that the Raiders cannot defend TEs. They’ve allowed the most FPs to the position this season and while the production against them has started to drop off, opposing offenses are still choosing to target them in this way. Ebron has had a few slow weeks since new offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter took over, but this is a nice spot for a breakout game. The big play potential is certainly there and Ebron is a solid #2 in the red-zone behind Calvin Johnson. At $3,500 on DraftKings, Ebron is playable in any format. Detroit should be able to have success moving the ball through the air against Oakland.
Matthew Stafford offers solid value on both major sites in Week 11
Stafford went through a very tough stretch of games against Denver, Seattle and Arizona (Weeks 3 through 5) where he failed to exceed 12 FPs, but he’s since rebounded nicely and is in another nice spot this week. Oakland is traveling west to east for an early game which is never an easy task, and they’ve been easier to beat through the air this season. Adrian Peterson and DeAngelo Williams have run all over this defense the past two weeks, but they had been stout against the position until then and still project as a fairly tough matchup for Detroit’s running game. Stafford’s arm is the Lions easiest route to success with both Joique Bell and Ameer Abdullah unable to do much of anything on the ground. It also doesn’t hurt that Stafford gets to do business in his home stadium. He’s somewhat of a risky cash game option, but his floor is high enough that he’s playable in any format if you want to spend up at other spots.
Antonio Gates leading all TEs in targets per game
While his sample size is smaller than most given an early season suspension, Gates is the only TE averaging double-digit targets so far this season. He’s had a game with 16 targets already this season and has seen 11 on two other occasions, and there is no reason to think his workload will drop off now that Keenan Allen, Malcom Floyd and potentially Ladarius Green could all be out. He’s still priced in the mid-range of the TE pool, which isn’t right given his monster usage in the handful of games he’s been able to play from start to finish. Look for another double-digit target count and a good shot at a touchdown tomorrow against the Chiefs. It’s also worth noting that despite his sub-$6K price tag on FanDuel, he was only the 6th most popular option at the position in Thursday contests. Fire him up in any format.

Marshawn Lynch has been tagged questionable for their game Saturday vs. the 49ers. If Lynch were to miss the game, it will be a healthy dose of Thomas Rawls taking over for Lynch. Fred Jackson may be in the mix, however he has failed to get more than 3 carries in any game this year. If Lynch is, in fact, out on Sunday, Rawls would make an elite value play vs. a bad 49ers run defense at only $3,800 on DK and $5,600 on FD. Game flow should also be in Rawls’ favor as they look to get an early lead over the abysmal 49ers. However it is worth noting that last week when Lynch was listed as questionable, he started but only rushed 8 times. If he does play he will be looking for a bounce-back game against a 49ers team whom he rushed for 122 yards and a TD last time they met.

The 49ers have placed Colin Kaepernick on the Injured Reserve list and his season is officially over. Kaepernick should not have been considered in the first place for DFS purposes with Blaine Gabbert (who is also not a DFS target) taking the starting job, and this puts an end to Kaepernick’s season and possibly his career with the 49ers.
