HOU QB Davis Mills will start Thursday, WR Anthony Miller will be active; QB Tyrod Taylor is out, WR Danny Amendola "will probably not be active"
As expected Davis Mills will start for the Texans on Thursday against the Carolina Panthers after Tyrod Taylor suffered a hamstring injury against the Browns on Sunday. Taylor is expected to be out multiple weeks and Jeff Driskel will likely serve as Mills’ backup. Anthony Miller who has not been active the last two weeks will make his Texans’ debut on Thursday while Nico Collins has been officially ruled out and Danny Amendola is not expected to play. The Texans will also likely elevate another wide receiver from their practice squad with the most likely candidates being Jordan Veasy and Chris Moore. Brandin Cooks should be firmly entrenched as Mills’ number one option followed by Chris Conley and Miller as well as the tight ends Pharaoh Brown and Jordan Akins.

DET RB D'Andre Swift (groin) will play Monday
Swift was listed as questionable with a groin injury, but was fully expected to play as he practiced fully. Fowler confirmed that suspicion, and Swift will be active and be a popular play for the Lions as they’re projected to be trailing and pass to him frequently.

As reported by: Mark Berman via TwitterHOU WR Anthony Miller inactive Sunday; TE Pharaoh Brown active
Miller won’t be making his team debut yet, and was ruled out against the Cleveland Browns. Brown was upgraded from questionable and will fill out the TE slots in a crowded TE room. Other than Brandin Cooks, this team is one to avoid for DFS.

Williams is set to make his season debut for the Dolphins after missing last week with a knee injury. With no Will Fuller due to a personal issue, Williams may slide right in to the WR3 role, but he’ll be competing with Albert Wilson, as both are set to be behind Jaylen Waddle and Devante Parker.
As reported by: the Miami Dolphins via TwitterIND WR Parris Cambell inactive Sunday; WR Michael Pittman active
The Colts are extremely thin at WR; although Pittman will be coming back, Campbell is inactive due to an abdomen injury. It’ll be Pascal and Pittman leading the way for the WRs, while the Colts will continue to use two TE sets likely; Jack Doyle and Mo Allie-Cox will continue to see the field plenty. Mike Strachan played 24% of snaps last week and should round out the 3 WR set, but shouldn’t be played in DFS.

As reported by: the Chicago Bears via TwitterNYJ WR Denzel Mims and Jamison Crowder inactive; WR Keelan Cole active
The biggest surprise of the morning comes from the Jets; Crowder was ruled inactive despite reports saying he’d play, while Mims was a healthy scratch and has fallen in the doghouse of the new coaching staff. Cole will be active and likely be the WR3 for the team, as Corey Davis is the WR1 and Elijah Moore the WR2. Moore’s targets are certainly more secure now and may be a sneaky play.

Davis was upgraded from questionable and will play against the Dolphins. He’ll round out the 4 WR set. Moss will also be active after being a healthy scratch; he’s one of three RBs to play, as Devin Singletary will lead the way, while Matt Breida remains active as well.

Williams was ruled out as expected; he was unable to clear the concussion protocol and will miss the MNF game. Swift and Raymond are both listed as questionable; Swift practiced in full and looks closer to playing, while Raymond only got in a limited practice. Raymond would be one competing for the WR1 spot, along with Amon-Ra St. Brown and Quintez Cephus. If Swift sat, Jamaal Williams would get a huge workload.
