Colts "optimistic" Marlon Mack will play Sunday
It appears Marlon Mack is on track to suit up Sunday against the Redskins, though the Colts convoluted backfield isn’t the best target on Sunday’s slate due to their low team total and likelihood of playing from behind. That said, keep an eye on how Mack is integrated into the rushing attack alongside both Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines, as this will establish which Colts RBs (if any) are viable assets moving forward.
Ben Roethlisberger will start Sunday
Consistent with team reports after Roethlisberger returned to practice Friday, Big Ben will start Sunday against the Chiefs. The Steelers are currently only second to the Saints for highest Vegas-implied team total on the slate, so look for Ben to be throwing and throwing often against a vulnerable Chiefs secondary. Antonio Brown and Juju Smith Schuster are both great WR plays on today’s slate.
Will Fuller & Deandre Hopkins both expected to play Sunday
This is consistent with the news from the team all week, which suggested both guys would be available Sunday. This is obviously good news for Deshaun Watson and this Texans offense as a whole. Look for them to bounce back from their lackluster week 1 performance this week against a Titans secondary that was recently torched by Kenny Stills and the Dolphins during week 1. Both Hopkins and Fuller are both viable stacking options with Watson on today’s slate.
Other tagged players: Will Fuller Leonard Fournette still a GTD but "unlikely" to play Sunday
If Fournette does in fact sit this week, TJ Yeldon immediately becomes a fantasy value across the DFS industry, especially on full-point PPR sites. Yeldon will be involved in both the rushing and passing attack, and has a high floor in this matchup due to the Jags’ overall reliance on the run as well as their lack of receiving options. Expect Yeldon to be a popular DFS play today as a workhorse RB at a good value.
Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams both will play against Vikings
Packers fans can breathe a sigh of relief as it appears both Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams will be active Sunday. Rodgers’ availability is really the determining factor for if the entire Packers offense is playable or not, so it is good news for all Packers fantasy assets that he is a go. With Xavier Rhodes likely covering Davante Adams, both Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison make for interesting GPP plays in what should be a back and forth divisional battle Sunday.

The Jaguars are reportedly not optimistic that Fournette will play Sunday, which has been the prevailing thought since Brandon Wilds was activated. It’s looking very much like T.J. Yeldon is going to get the lion’s share of the work with Corey Grant and Wilds acting in a complementary role. The Jags are slight dogs at home in a rematch of last year’s AFC Championship game, but they have the advantage in the trenches and Yeldon’s workload should result in solid value at his mid-range price tag.

Late-night news: Titans have still not decided on starting QB, Mariota having trouble gripping the ball; DeSean Jackson clears concussion protocol
Per Adam Schefter, the Titans have still not decided on a starting QB for Sunday’s game with the Texans, likely due to Marcus Mariota having trouble gripping the ball. Regardless whether it’s Mariota under center or not, the Houston D/ST unit is well worth a look in all formats thanks to not only Delanie Walker’s absence, but the injuries to Taylor Lewan and Jack Conklin which will be felt heavily on the offensive line. As for DeSean Jackson, he’s good to go for tomorrow’s game with the Eagles, but don’t expect the same level of production he had in Week 1. The Bucs should be expected to come back to earth after a shockingly hot start to the season.

Devonta Freeman is expected to be sidelined 2-3 weeks with a knee injury. Look for Tevin Coleman to become the workhorse back for the Falcons during Freeman’s absence, and be active in both the rushing and passing attack.
Jaguars activate RB Brandon Wilds from practice squad
While Wilds himself may not be a relevant fantasy asset, this activation does not bode well for Leonard Fournette’s likelihood to suit up on Sunday against the Patriots. Keep an eye on the situation, as Fournette being ruled out would open up a heavy workload for TJ Yeldon both in the run and pass game for the Jags.
Doug Baldwin officially ruled out for Monday night
This news comes as no surprise after Baldwin was listed “week-to-week” by the team after his knee injury week 1. Look for Tyler Lockett and Brandon Marshall to be the primary receiving options for the Seahawks passing attack Monday night against the Bears.
Browns rule out WR Josh Gordon for Sunday
This comes as a shock with Gordon practicing fully all week. Antonio Callaway will likely start in place of Gordon, but Jarvis Landry gets the biggest boost on Sunday. Reasonably priced on both FanDuel and DraftKings, the Browns’ top wideout is firmly in play on all platforms. Facing a New Orleans team that was torched by Tampa Bay last week, Landry is in a great spot, especially on sites that are full PPR.

The Tampa Bay wide receiver had practiced late in the week, but still had to pass the final few hurdles of the NFL’s concussion protocol. Jackson’s presence will downgrade Chris Godwin and Adam Humphries, both of whom would have been in play as cheap options against Philadelphia. Facing his former team, Jackson has some value given his rapport thus far with Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Aaron Rodgers took part in practice Saturday morning, but still listed as questionable
Silverstein also reported there is no guarantee Rodgers plays on Sunday and he’ll be evaluated tomorrow morning to see how his injured knee responds. Rodgers hasn’t managed to practice all week, though he and head coach Mike McCarthy agreed the quarterback didn’t need to participate during the week in order to play on Sunday. If DeShone Kizer is forced into action, all Green Bay pass catchers would be downgraded against a tough Minnesota defense.

Any doubts about Big Ben’s status should be answered now as he’ll officially take the field against Kansas City. The Chiefs gave up over 400 yards and three touchdowns to Philip Rivers last week, so Big Ben is in a good spot on Sunday. Despite being the second most-expensive QB on DraftKings, he’s a good bet to return value especially in a home game.

The Buffalo receiving corps is even thinner now after moving on from the veteran. Kerley was second on the team in catches in Sunday’s debacle against Baltimore, but now Andre Holmes will be elevated to the No.3 wide receiver position with Kelvin Benjamin and Zay Jones still on top of the depth chart. With Josh Allen starting this week, the Bills passing attack is slightly more appealing, though owners might want to wake a wait-and-see approach on the unit.
