DFBC 2013 Preview Part 2: The $25 Qualifiers
This coming Saturday, 45 finalists will compete in Las Vegas for a $200K first place prize in the DFBC. All week long we’ll be previewing the games, finalists and more leading up to our live coverage from Vegas next weekend. In part 2, we take a look at the qualifiers who beat 1000 others to earn their seats from the $25 games.
$25 Qualifiers
Here are the 15 $25 Qualifiers in order of date qualified:

- Ryanmax qualified with the highest score of 80.5. Right behind him is repeat DFBC finalist Pepsi7 with a score of 80.
- Pepsi7 qualified twice this year as well as for the 2012 DFBC. He’s the only finalist to accomplish that ridiculous feat.
- STLCardinalsfan84 has now qualified for major live events in 2 sports. He also attended last winter’s DSFC.
- Delanceystreet took the biggest contribution from a pitcher in Week 1 where Yu Darvish gave him a healthy 26.66 fantasy points. The runner up? You guessed it, Aaron Harang for littlebigfish with a score of 23.
- STLCardinalsfan84 also took the biggest contribution from a hitter in the $25 qualifiers. Mike Trout generously produced 18.75 fantasy points.
- According to our very own DB730, K_Lim and Pepsi7 are married and both have 2 entries. This is gonna get awkward fast.
- 6 qualifiers from the $25 contests had players in their lineups who posted a negative score. 2 qualifiers had 2 negative scoring players.
