Taylor Jungmann : FD: $5,100 — DK: $4,700
Pitching Stats:
2014 – 2015: IP: 12.0 — SIERA: 3.39 — K%: 20.0% — BB%: 6.0% — FB Rate: 26.5% — HR/FB: 11.1%

Analysis: Jungmann will be making his first trip to Coors Field. It will likely be a less than pleasant experience. He can safely be avoided against the Rockies, who have the highest team total on the board tonight.
Pitcher Rating:35.8
Jorge De La Rosa : FD: $6,400 — DK: $6,200

Pitchers per PA: 3.74 (Rank: 24)
Analysis: De La Rosa has been a serviceable starter for the Rockies this season, but he is far from a good fantasy option tonight. Even a struggling Brewers’ offense should be able to score some runs in Coors Field.

Analysis: While the Brewers have struggled to score runs all season, that should be a problem in the hitter-friendly Coors Field. Lucroy has hit left-handed pitching well with a .341 wOBA and a .145 ISO over the past two seasons and he sees a major ballpark boost tonight playing in Coors. It’s pretty simple tonight at catcher. Target Lucroy in cash games and thank me later.

He is in great form and he draws another favorable matchup tonight at home in Coors Field. The Rockies have the highest team total on the board, as they square off against rookie Taylor Jungmann. Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.326 (Rank: 9) — Strikeout Rate: 19.8% (Rank: 13)
Pitchers per PA: 3.88 (Rank: 7)
Analysis: Shoemaker may have a 4.85 ERA on the season, but his indicators look great. Over the last month of play, he has a 3.81 SIERA with a strikeout rate of 20.5%. The issue tonight is his matchup against the A’s. Oakland hits right-handed pitching well, they don’t strike out often, and they take a ton of pitches with each and every at bat. Shoemaker can be avoided tonight in all league formats.
Pitcher Rating:66.1
Sonny Gray : FD: $10,100 — DK: $10,100

Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.312 (Rank: 13) — Strikeout Rate: 18.4% (Rank: 7)
Pitchers per PA: 3.76 (Rank: 19)
Analysis: Gray has been dominant over the last month of play with a 2.55 SIERA and a strikeout rate of 24.0%. Everyone is going to be on Chris Sale tonight, which puts Gray in a great spot if you are looking to differentiate your lineups. Gray has always pitched well at home and he draws a nice matchup against the Angels, who are ranked 21st in wOBA against right-handed pitching this season.
Pitcher Rating:81.0
Batter Grind Down
LA Angels
Sonny Gray is a very tough pitcher at the O.co Coliseum and over the past two seasons, he has held both left and right-handed hitters under a .275 wOBA. The only fantasy option of note here is Mike Trout, who is about as matchup-proof as they come.

Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.293 (Rank: 22) — Strikeout Rate: 23.3% (Rank: 26)
Pitchers per PA: 3.65 (Rank: 30)
Analysis: Shields doesn’t have that 30% strikeout rate that we saw earlier in the season, but he has still pitched well recently with a 3.57 SIERA and a strikeout rate of 22.3% over the last month of play. He’s an easy fade in cash games, but he may be worth a look as a tournament option. The Diamondbacks are an average hitting team against right-handed pitching and they have averaged the fewest pitches per plate appearance this season.

Pitchers per PA: 3.80 (Rank: 12)
Analysis: De La Rosa continues to be underpriced on sites across the industry. Since the start of 2014, he has a 3.84 SIERA with a strikeout rate of 19.2%. He has been even better over the last month of play and he draws a plus-matchup tonight against the Padres, who are ranked 26th in both wOBA and strikeout rate against right-handed pitching. The upside is there and so is the cheap price tag. He’s in play for tournaments and as a cheap SP2 on multi-pitcher sites.

The Padres are ranked 26th in wOBA against right-handed pitching and 24th in wOBA over the last 14 days of play. At this point, they are an easy fade for me. Justin Upton is the only fantasy option of note, as he head back to Chase Field, where he had great numbers during his time with the Diamondbacks.

The Diamondbacks have a lot of quality bats in their lineup, but I’m not a fan of their matchup against James Shields, who has been one of the best pitchers in the National League this season. With a game in Coors Field, we don’t need to target any Diamondbacks’ hitters tonight.

Analysis: After throwing his no-hitter against the Mets, Heston predictably struggled in his next start. He has been solid this season with a 3.32 SIERA and a strikeout rate of 21.2%, but he draws a difficult matchup tonight against the Dodgers. At his price point, there are better pitching options for both cash games and tournaments tonight.

Analysis: Bolsinger has really pitched well at home this season with a 2.95 SIERA and a strikeout rate of 26.6%. He’ll have his hands full with the Giants tonight though. San Francisco is ranked 10th in wOBA and 3rd in strikeout rate against right-handed pitching this season. He has a better chance to pick up the win, but Rubby De La Rosa provides more upside at the same price point.

The Giants have one of the lowest team totals on the board tonight, as they take on Mike Bolsinger in the pitcher-friendly Dodger Stadium. The Giants have a knack of putting up runs regardless of the situation, but they can safely be avoided in all league formats tonight in daily fantasy.

Adrian Gonzalez : FD: $3,100 — DK: $4,600

Last 14 Days: PA: 53 — wOBA: 0.162 — ISO: 0.021 — wRC+: -1
Analysis: Gonzalez is in the middle of a slump right now, but eventually a player’s price gets to the point where it’s too cheap to avoid. That’s the case with Gonzalez tonight, as he is listed at a bargain price of only $3,100 on FanDuel. Gonzalez has hit right-handed pitching well throughout his career and he draws a favorable matchup against Chris Heston, who has given up a .374 wOBA to left-handed hitters this season.

Lance McCullers has pitched very well in his first few major league starts. The sample size is still small, but he is striking batters out in bunches and he has held left and right-handed hitters under a .285 wOBA. The cold offense of the Mariners can continue to be avoided in all league formats.
