Leonard Hankerson will not play Sunday
Hankerson has struggled with injuries all season and will miss this weekends game. Jacob Tamme becomes an interesting option at TE as he has thrived in games where the wide out has not played.

Devonta Freeman officially out on Sunday
As expected, Devonta Freeman will not play this Sunday leaving Tevin Coleman as the Falcons lead back in a match up against the Minnesota Vikings. While Coleman will be in play due to his price, tread with caution as he hasn’t shown much in his limited time this season and the Vikings have an above average run defense and team speed, especially against RB’s who tend to go sideline to sideline rather than up the gut.

It was expected after initial reports that Tony Romo’s season was done after reinjuring his shoulder in yesterday’s game and that has been confirmed today by owner Jerry Jones who said that Romo has a hairline fracture that will not require surgery. Matt Cassel will finish the season as the Cowboys QB.

Both Matt Forte and Alshon Jeffery will play tonight against the Packers. The weather in Green Bay is terrible and precipitation is expected throughout the game, so this could be a good spot for both backfields. Forte will regain his role as the starter and should be on the right side of a platoon with Jeremy Langford, who ran well with Forte out. Langford isn’t a DFS option with Forte active, and Forte himself is a viable GPP target. Jeffery will be hurt by the weather and a relatively tough matchup with the Packers corners, but he’ll be the most heavily targeted member of the Bears assuming he isn’t acting as a decoy. Marquess Wilson is not an option in cash games with Jeffery active.

Philly Brown inactive, Funchess to start once again
Philly Brown will not play this afternoon, which sets up Devin Funchess to draw another start. After a very slow start to his rookie year, Funchess has come on strong over the last few games and was able to find the end-zone last week on eight targets, and he’ll likely approach that target total again today. He’s a very nice punt play on the Thanksgiving slate if you are playing on a site with late-swap.

The Bills QB was seen throwing in practice today – a good sign that he’ll be playing on Sunday against the Chiefs. It’s a tough match up for sure and there are better options out there. He’s merely a GPP dart throw this week.

The Eagles inactives for today’s game are QB Bradford, WR Krause, RB Mathews, CB Rice, OL Hawkinson, TE Ertz, DE Bair. This is what was expected heading into today. Mark Sanchez will get the start at QB and Brent Celek will be the starting TE. Darren Sproles is a good value play with the absence of Mathews and DeMarco Murray should get all the red zone carries as well.

The inactive players for the Lions in today’s game are LaAdrian Waddle, TJ Jones, Gabe Wright, Corey Robinson, Jermelle Cudjo, Isaiah Johnson, and Tim Wright. No surprise additions here and all the normal Lions are in play for DFS purposes.

Head Coach Dan Quinn stated that their star RB will miss practice today and that the team is preparing as if he will not play on Sunday. The Falcons have a tough match up against a stout Vikings defense – Tevin Coleman would likely get the start if Freeman sits and after an unimpressive showing last week is nothing more than a GPP dart throw.

Matt Bryant strained his quad during practice on Wednesday leading to the team signing veteran kicker Shayne Graham. No word yet on who will kick on Sunday but Graham’s signing can’t be good for Bryant’s chances.

As expected, Sam Bradford is going to sit out this week and Mark Sanchez will get the start. On the season, the Lions are one of the worst pass defenses in the league sitting at #27 in QB DvP and #19 in WR DvP. However, they have been much improved over their last two games (both wins) in which they held the Packers and Raiders to 29 points total. On just a three game slate and with bad weather forecast in Green Bay though Sanchez is very much in play on the small three game Thanksgiving slate.

Freeman did not practice Wednesday, and is still in the first stage of the NFL’s concussion protocol. Dan Quinn didn’t seem overly concerned that Freeman would miss Sunday’s game and we’re still considering him on the right side of the questionable tag, although a lot will be determined by what he’s able to do later in the week. Minnesota has been surprisingly friendly to opposing RBs and this would be a very enticing matchup for Freeman if he’s able to go. Tevin Coleman would see a huge boost in value if Freeman can’t go, but he wasn’t overly impressive when Freeman went out on Sunday.

This is likely just a maintenance day for Gore, who missed portions of Sunday’s game with a knee issue. He was spotted with a noticeable limp late in the game and with Ahmad Bradshaw looking re-acclimated with the Colts offense, Gore wasn’t forced back into action. Gore should be fine for Week 12, but if he’s not, Bradshaw becomes a very strong $/point play.

Lynch is having sports hernia surgery and is likely to miss three-to-four weeks to recover. Thomas Rawls has showed that he’s plenty capable of filling in, performing admirably earlier in the season and totaling over 200 yards on the ground this past Sunday. He’s in an interesting spot this week – while he’s still far too cheap given his expected workload, his matchup with the Steelers defense isn’t a good one. Pittsburgh has allowed the fewest FPs to opposing RBs this year, which makes fading Rawls in tournaments a very interesting decision. You’d be able to leapfrog a large portion of the field if he posts a dud, but you’d also have a big uphill climb if he turns in another strong performance. He’s still a strong cash game option given his price.

Bennett’s absence actually opens up some sneaky value with Zach Miller. Green Bay allows the 7th most FPs to TEs and Miller was already beginning to take on a bigger role in the passing game, and he should see between 5-8 targets head his way with Bennett out of action. Alshon Jeffery’s inability to get healthy as well as Eddie Royal’s absence makes Marquess Wilson a viable punt play again this week, especially on the three-game Thursday slate. Wilson was targeted 7 times on Sunday (he finished with 4-102) and should see a similar target total against another tough secondary. Each of Green Bay’s top three corners have graded out well in coverage, per PFF. Ka’Deem Carey is inactive, but he wouldn’t have been a factor anyway with Matt Forte back. Expect Forte and Langford to take part in some type of time-share, with Forte likely to lead the duo in touches.
