NOS RB Tony Jones activated to 53-man roster off IR ahead of Sunday
Tony Jones has been activated to the 53-man roster off IR ahead of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Jones is expected to back up Mark Ingram with Alvin Kamara already ruled out. Jones will likely supplant Dwayne Washington who was Ingram’s primary backup last week, Jones can be expected to see a decent size workload for a backup but is still not worth rostering in DFS contests with so many other value running back options available (including Mark Ingram).

As reported by: Washington Football TeamTBB TE Rob Gronkowski listed questionable for Monday
Rob Gronkowski has been listed questionable for Monday’s game against the New York Giants. Gronkowski logged a full week of practice (aside from his usual rest day during the final practice of the week) setting himself up to reclaim his role as the top tight end for Tampa Bay and as one of Tom Brady’s favorite targets. If Gronkowski is active on Monday it will send both O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate back down the depth chart limiting their snaps. Gronkowski (if active) will need to be considered on Monday’s showdown slate as he is one of the top tight ends in the league and is in one of the most pass friendly offenses in football.
As reported by: Tampa Bay BuccaneersBAL QB Lamar Jackson (illness) added to injury report as questionable for Sunday
Lamar Jackson has been added back to the injury report as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. Jackson has been dealing with an illness all week and looks as though he still has been able to shake it. Jackson will likely be able to suit up tomorrow as he said he was feeling better yesterday, but if he were unable to go Tyler Huntley would draw the start. If Huntley were to start all Ravens pass-catchers would see a drop in their expected production, though the Baltimore running backs could see an uptick in usage as Coach Harbaugh might elect to pound the ball on the ground. It will be important to check on Jackson’s status when inactives are released 90 minutes before kickoff, luckily the Ravens play during the early slate of games so we will know his status prior to when lineups lock.
As reported by: Baltimore RavensCIN TE Mason Schreck has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday
Mason Schreck has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Schreck is expected to serve as tight end depth and is not DFS relevant at this time.
As reported by: Cincinnati BengalsNYG WR Sterling Shepard ruled out; RB Saquon Barkley, RB Devontae Booker, RB Cullen Gillaspia, and TE Kaden Smith listed questionable for Monday
Sterling Shepard has been ruled out while Saquon Barkley, Devontae Booker,Cullen Gillaspia, and Kaden Smith have all been listed questionable for Monday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sterling Shepard is still working his way back from injury and will be unable to suit up Monday. Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney, and Darius Slayton should all play bigger roles in the New York passing game with Shepard still sidelined. Kaden Smith is expected to serve as tight end depth behind Evan Engram and Kyle Rudolph so his status is not DFS relevant. Both Barkley and Booker look to be trending in the right direction to play Monday when Barkley would be expected to be the lead backfield with Booker serving as his back up. It will be important to check all players’ statuses when inactives are released 90 mins prior to kickoff.

Damien Williams has been downgraded to doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. Williams is dealing with a calf injury and will be unable to suit up likely leading to Ryan Nall taking his spot as the third running back for the bears behind David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert. Nall doesn’t project to be DFS relevant at this time.
As reported by: Chicago BearsTBB WR Antonio Brown ruled out for Monday
As expected, Antonio Brown has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the New York Giants. With Brown out once again Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, and Tyler Johnson will continue to lead the Buccaneers receiving corps and are expected to see increased snaps and targets. All three should be considered for the showdown slate but it is also worth noting the expected return of Rob Gronkowski could cut into their target share.

Lawrence Cager has been elevated from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions. Cager is expected to serve as wide receiver depth and is should not be DFS relevant.
As reported by: Nate UlrichPIT QB Ben Roethlisberger activated from COVID list, expected to start Sunday
As expected, Ben Roethlisberger has been activated from the COVID list and is expected to start Sunday night against the Los Angeles Chargers. At This point in his career Roethlisberger is only a slight upgrade over Mason Rudolph, but he is still an upgrade. All pass-catchers are expected to see a slight boost as well with Roethlisberger at the helm. Big Ben will need to be considered on the showdown slate, especially in cash games where quarterbacks are usually the safest players to build around due to their expected floor.
As reported by: Aaron WilsonARI RB Jonathan Ward listed out for Sunday; QB Colt McCoy listed questionable
Jonathan Ward has been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks while Colt McCoy has been listed questionable. Ward was expected to serve as the third running back behind James Conner and Eno Benjamin but this role will now likely be played by practice squad member Tavien Feaster. Conner is the back to roster for the Cardinals as he leads the NFL in touchdowns and draws a good matchup against a poor defense. McCoy’s status could be irrelevant depending on if Kyler Murray (game-time decision) is able to play on Sunday. If both McCoy and Murray were to be ruled out Chris Streveler would draw the start. Streveler offers rushing upside as seen in the preseason but would be a significant step down from both Murray and McCoy.
As reported by: Darren Urban Other tagged players: Colt McCoyLVR RB Jalen Richard listed questionable for Sunday
Jalen Richard has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Richard is expected to be the third running back for Las Vegas behind Josh Jacobs and Kenyan Drake. If Richard were to be unable to suit up, Peyton Barber would likely be called upon to fill his role though he would not be expected to be DFS relevant.
As reported by: Tashan ReedCIN WR Auden Tate listed questionable for Sunday
Auden Tate has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Tate isn’t expected to lay a major role on Sunday but if he were to miss it could mean a few extra snaps for Mike Thomas. Tate’s status Sunday should not be DFS relevant.
As reported by: Ben BabyNOS RB Alvin Kamara and WR Ty Montgomery listed out Sunday; QB Taysom Hill listed questionable
Alvin Kamara and Ty Montgomery have been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles while Taysom Hill has been listed questionable. With Kamara out, Mark Ingram will be thrust into the lead back role with the (likely) returning Tony Jones Jr. and Alex Armah available to back him up. Ingram would be a tremendous value option based on expected volume. Trevor Siemian will get another start at quarterback with Taysom Hill unable to practice fully this week, but Hill (if cleared) could be called upon in goal line situations as he has been in the past. With Montgomery officially ruled out, the receiving corps should be led by Tre’Quan Smith, Marquez Callaway, and Deonte Harris.
