Justin Jackson

Detroit Lions
11/19/21, 6:35 PM ET

LAC RB Justin Jackson listed questionable for Sunday

Justin Jackson has been listed questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jackson has missed the last two weeks but if he is able to suit up he should return to his role backing up Austin Ekeler with Larry Rountree and Josh Kelley (though it is likely at least one will be a healthy scratch). Ekeler is still the lead back but doesn’t always get the goal line carries so one of these other backs could easily vulture a touchdown and be valuable on a showdown slate.

Amari Cooper

Las Vegas Raiders
11/19/21, 6:28 PM ET

DAL WR Amari Cooper placed on COVID list, will miss Sunday

Amari Cooper has been placed on the COVID list, he will miss Sunday (and next Thursday as well) after testing positive. Without Cooper, CeeDee Lamb will be the unquestioned top receiver in the Dallas offense with Michael Gallup stepping into the number two role and Cedrick Wilson into the number three role. All three receivers will become much better plays based on expected volume in a very friendly matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs and can be considered in all formats.

Jared Goff

Detroit Lions
11/19/21, 6:21 PM ET

DET QB Jared Goff listed doubtful for Sunday; WR Trinity Benson and RB Jamaal Williams listed questionable; RB Jermar Jefferson listed out

Jared Goff has been listed doubtful for Sunday, Trinity Benson and Jamaal Williams have been listed questionable and Jermar Jefferson has been listed out. Tim Boyle will likely draw the start this weekend. If Boyle gets the start the already poor Lions offense will take another hit and will likely be less efficient. At this point, the only players that are DFS relevant are D’Andre Swift and T.J. Hockenson who will both have their expected production lowered if Goff is unable to suit up. It will probably be best to avoid any and all Detroit Lions this week regardless of who plays quarterback as they draw a tough matchup against the Browns defense. The role Jefferson had enjoyed the past couple of weeks (D’Andre Swift’s backup) has been taken back by the likely returning Jamaal Williams so his status is not DFS relevant for this week.

JaMycal Hasty

Miami Dolphins
11/19/21, 6:14 PM ET

SFO RB JaMycal Hasty ruled out for Sunday; RB Elijah Mitchell listed doubtful

JaMycal Hasty has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars while Elijah Mitchell has been listed doubtful. If Mitchell is forced to miss time, Jeff Wilson would be the next man up and would see the bulk of the carries with Trey Sermon as his main backup and receiver Deebo Samuel also mixing in. Originally it seemed as though Mitchell would be able to tough it out but it seems like Coach Shanahan has thought better of the idea of risking his rookie’s long term health. It will be important to check Mitchell’s status 90 minutes prior to kickoff to make sure he is listed inactive.

Lamar Jackson

Baltimore Ravens
11/19/21, 5:49 PM ET

BAL QB Lamar Jackson and WR Rashod Bateman not listed on injury report for Sunday; RB Latavius Murray, WR Marquise Brown, WR Devin Duvernay, and TE Nick Boyle listed questionable; WR Miles Boykin listed out

Lamar Jackson and Rashod Bateman have not been listed on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears after dealing with non-COVID related illnesses. Latavius Murray, Marquise Brown, Devin Duvernay, and Nick Boyle have all been listed as questionable Latavius Murray seems to be trending towards playing and should reenter the running back committee for the Ravens alongside Devonta Freeman and Ty’Son Williams. If Marquise Brown were to miss, Rashod Bateman and Sammy Watkins would the the Ravens’ top receivers and would see increased value based on expected volume. If Nick Boyle were to miss Eric Tomlinson would likely fill his role backing up Mark Andrews as the lead tight end.

Aaron Rodgers

Pittsburgh Steelers
11/19/21, 5:43 PM ET

GBP QB Aaron Rodgers will start Sunday; WR Allen Lazard listed doubtful; WR Malik Taylor listed out

Aaron Rodgers will start Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, however Allen Lazard has been listed doubtful and Malik Taylor has been listed out. As expected Aaron Rodgers will be fine this weekend despite dealing with a toe injury. With two receivers likely out for the Packers, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Randall Cobb will have to step up and play a larger role behind Davante Adams. Adams remains an elite play while MVS and Cobb will see increased value based on expected volume and can be considered as value options in most formats.

Sterling Shepard

Tampa Bay Buccaneers
11/19/21, 5:31 PM ET

NYG WR Sterling Shepard DNP Friday; TE Kaden Smith returned to practice

Sterling Shepard logged another DNP Friday while Kaden Smith returned to practice ahead of Monday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Though Shepard logged a DNP he was seen by reporters doing individual drills which could mean he is close to returning. Shepard has one more day to log a practice before the official injury report comes out so it will be important to check his listed status then. Kaden Smith returned to practice and should be ready to return to his role as the third tight end behind Evan Engram and Kyle Rudolph.

James Robinson

New Orleans Saints
11/19/21, 5:22 PM ET

JAC RB James Robinson listed questionable for Sunday

James Robinson has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers. Robinson is still nursing a heel injury that he was able to play through last week and is now also dealing with a knee injury. It seems as though Robinson is trending in the right direction to play this weekend as he only missed Wednesday’s practice. However, if he were to be ruled out Carlos Hyde would lead the backfield with Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo available to back him up. Hyde would need to be considered as a value option based on expected volume even in a tough matchup. It will be important to monitor Robinson’s status when inactives are released 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

As reported by: Jacksonville Jaguars

Allen Robinson

Detroit Lions
11/19/21, 3:59 PM ET

CHI WR Allen Robinson listed doubtful for Sunday

Allen Robinson has been listed doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens. If Robinson is unable to suit up Darnell Mooney will play an even bigger role in the passing game with Marquise Goodwin possibly filling in for Robinson opposite Mooney. Damiere Byrd could also find himself in a bigger role as well.

Jeremy McNichols

Washington Commanders
11/19/21, 3:41 PM ET

TEN RB Jeremy McNichols and TE Geoff Swaim ruled out for Sunday

Jeremy McNichols and Geoff Swaim have been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. McNichols was unable to clear the concussion protocol so the Titans backfield will be led by D’Onta Foreman and Adrian Peterson. The backfield still seems to be settling in the wake of the Derrick Henry news but at this point it seems as though Foreman would be the back to roster as he has seen more snaps and has looked to be the best ball carrier for the Titans so far. Geoff Swaim was also unable to clear the concussion protocol so MyCole Pruitt and Anthony Firkser will likely split tight end snaps on Sunday.

Cam Newton

Carolina Panthers
11/19/21, 2:39 PM ET

CAR QB Cam Newton will start Sunday according to HC Matt Rhule, QB P.J. Walker could play too

As expected, Cam Newton will start Sunday against the Washington Football Team according to HC Matt Rhule, P.J. Walker could play too because Newton hasn’t learned the full offense yet. Newton was effective this past weekend during limited snaps throwing for a touchdown as well as rushing for one which exemplifies the type of dual threat upside Newton should offer going forward. Newton can be considered this weekend for tournaments, though there are some unknowns regarding how much of the offense Cam is comfortable with after only being with the team for a couple of weeks and how many snaps P.J. Walker will take away from him.

DeAndre Hopkins

Baltimore Ravens
11/19/21, 2:31 PM ET

ARI WR DeAndre Hopkins ruled out for Sunday; QB Kyler Murray will be a game-time decision

DeAndre Hopkins has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks while Kyler Murray will be a game-time decision according to HC Kliff Kingsbury. Murray seems to be trending in the right direction to play this weekend and has said he is “close” to being able to return. Murray’s return would give an instant boost to the offense as they looked flat this last weekend against the Carolina Panthers. With Hopkins ruled out once again, Christian Kirk, A.J. Green, and Rondale Moore should see most of the target share with Moore also working out of the backfield on certain occasions. All three should be much better plays based on expected volume and production and can be considered in most formats against a lackluster Seattle defense, provided Murray is the Cardinals’ quarterback Sunday.

Ricky Seals-Jones

Indianapolis Colts
11/19/21, 2:24 PM ET

WAS TE Ricky Seals-Jones listed out for Sunday; WR Curtis Samuel listed questionable

Ricky Seals-Jones has been listed out for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers while Curtis Samuel has been listed questionable. It seemed as though Seals-Jones was trending this way after missing every day of practice this week, so his status on the injury report comes as no surprise. Washington is still hopeful that Logan Thomas will be able to be activated off IR but won’t make a decision on that until tomorrow. If Thomas is able to return he will instantly regain his role as the top tight end for Washington with John Bates and Sammis Reyes available to back him up. If Thomas is unable to play, Bates and Reyes should split the tight end snaps. If Samuel is able to play he will be on a “tight snap count” according to HC Ron Rivera, so the receiving corps should still be led by Terry McLaurin, Adam Humphries, and DeAndre Carter.

Anthony Schwartz

Miami Dolphins
11/19/21, 2:07 PM ET

CLE WR Anthony Schwartz ruled out for Sunday; WR Donovan Peoples-Jones listed questionable

Anthony Schwartz has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions while Donovan Peoples-Jones has been listed as questionable. Schwartz was not expected to play much of a role on Sunday so his absence shouldn’t be too important. If anything, JoJo Natson and/or Ja’Marcus Bradley could see a few extra snaps but still not enough to be DFS relevant. DPJ seems to be trending in the right direction after missing practice Thursday and getting a limited practice in Friday. If he were unable to play however, Rashard Higgins would likely see more snaps and play a larger role in the Cleveland offense.
