Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.380 (Rank: 1) — Strikeout Rate: 16.7% (Rank: 3)
Pitches per PA: 3.87 (Rank: 8)
Analysis: Conley has been an easy pitcher to avoid. He plays for a bad Marlins team and he doesn’t have a ton of major league experience. Throw in a matchup against the Mets, who have the highest team wOBA over the last two weeks of play, and Conley becomes an easy fade again tonight.
Pitcher Rating: 45.6
Bartolo Colon : FD: $8,500 — DK: $8,100
Pitching Stats:

Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.304 (Rank: 25) — Strikeout Rate: 16.1% (Rank: 2)
Pitches per PA: 3.72 (Rank: 29)
Analysis: Colon has turned back the clock recently, although his indicators suggest that he has been the same pitcher that he has been over the last two seasons. Despite a low ERA, his SIERA over the last month is at 3.90, which is actually a little higher than his SIERA over the last two seasons. Colon does draw a favorable matchup against the Marlins, but I don’t want to pay a premium for him.
Pitcher Rating: 76.7

Miami
The Marlins draw a mediocre matchup tonight against Bartolo Colon, who has given up a .309+ wOBA to both left and right-handed hitters over the last two seasons. Dee Gordon and Justin Bour are both blips on my radar, but they are secondary options tonight in the pitcher-friendly Citi Field.

The Mets’ offense has a higher team wOBA than any other team in baseball over the last two weeks. Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.333 (Rank: 13) — Strikeout Rate: 21.5% (Rank: 21)
Pitches per PA: 3.83 (Rank: 14)
Analysis: Severino has enjoyed a nice rookie season, but he hasn’t been in the best of form recently. Over the last month of play, he has a 4.36 SIERA. His high strikeout rate makes him an appealing play in tournaments though, especially when he draws a favorable matchup against a team like the Rays. On the season, Tampa Bay is ranked 25th in team wOBA and 23rd in strikeout rate against right-handed pitching.
Pitcher Rating: 67.8
Chris Archer : FD: $11,900 — DK: $11,900

Last 14 Days: wOBA: 0.311 (Rank: 21) — Strikeout Rate: 21.0% (Rank: 19)
Pitches per PA: 3.90 (Rank: 3)
Analysis: Archer was so close to having a great outing in his last start. Unfortunately, he gave up two singles to start the sixth inning and the bullpen let both runs score, which gave him a no decision against the Red Sox. Archer may get overlooked tonight, as his matchup against the Yankees is a difficult one. The good news is that he gets to face them at home, where he has a ridiculous 2.27 SIERA with a strikeout rate of 34.4% this season. In my eyes, Archer is right there with David Price and Jake Arrieta tonight.
Pitcher Rating: 88.4

The Rays draw a mediocre matchup tonight against Luis Severino. On the one hand, they are facing a rookie pitcher at home, but on the other hand, the Rays are one of the worst offenses in baseball against right-handed pitching. John Jaso is the only fantasy option on my radar in this one.

Pitches per PA: 3.81 (Rank: 17)
Analysis: Keuchel has been dominant over the last month of play, posting a 2.46 SIERA with a strikeout rate of 30.4%. He is one of my favorite pitchers to target in DFS for two reasons: 1. He has an elite strikeout rate, which helps him rack up fantasy points in a hurry and 2. He has an elite ground ball rate, which helps him limit extra-base hits and produce a lot of double-play balls. Many will be scared off of him because of the fact that this game is being played in Arlington, but I’m expecting another big outing from him tonight.

Analysis: Perez has not been sharp recently, posting a 4.40 SIERA with a walk rate of 10.1%. He draws a difficult matchup tonight against the Astros and he has to face them in the hitter-friendly Globe Life Park. There are better options for both cash games and tournaments tonight.

While the Brewers haven’t been great against left-handed pitching this season, they do have the seventh-highest team wOBA over the last two weeks of play. He draws a difficult matchup tonight against the Cardinals, who are ranked better the major league average in both team wOBA and strikeout rate against right-handed pitching. Peralta is one of the many pitchers that should be on your “Do Not Touch” list.

The most amazing part is that he has actually shown some consistency during that stretch. The problem tonight is twofold. Minnesota
The Twins may not be the best offense in baseball, but they do hit left-handed pitching well and they do score a lot of runs at home. They have both in their favor tonight against Daniel Norris, who is making his first start since coming back from injury. All of the right-handed bats in this lineup are in play tonight.
