Peyton Manning has torn plantar fascia
The future Hall-of-Famer has a torn plantar fascia in his left foot and might be in danger of missing this weeks game. Brock Osweiler would get the start if that were the case and would make for a very intriguing punt option at QB.

Ryan Fitzpatrick not at practice, still expected to play Sunday
After having thumb surgery on Friday, Ryan Fitzpatrick did not practice today. Head Coach Todd Bowles said he still expects the QB to play this coming weekend against the Texans. It’s a great match up that definitely puts Fitzpatrick, Eric Decker, and Brandon Marshall in play.

It’s been a tough season for Hankerson who was expected to have a significant role in the Falcons offense but has struggled due to injuries. He practiced today as the Falcons prepare to take on the Colts – it’s a match up that could be a good one for the Atlanta WR if he is able to play.

Not a shock but the veteran Giants WR is out for the season as he will have surgery on his injured calf. Reuben Randle will continue to operate as the #2 on the Giants but is too up and down to rely on consistently for DFS purposes.

Cardinals WR John Brown will be active for tonight’s game against the Seahawks giving Carson Palmer all of his key weapons in a very tough match up. Brown (and Palmer for that matter) are nothing more than GPP dart throws, even if playing the two game Sunday night-Monday night slate.

It was uncertain whether Lynch would suit up today but he has just been listed as active. This is a hit for those DFS players hoping to sneak in Thomas Rawls who should still get some touches with a not 100% Lynch taking the field. Both backs are probably unplayable unless you’re playing a Sunday night-Monday night slate.

This one is a bit of a surprise as most thought he might sit this game out. He’s probably not worth rostering for DFS purposes and somewhat hurts Demaryius Thomas as he would have seen more balls thrown his way if Sanders sat out.

As expected, Teddy Bridgewater is active and will take the field against the Raiders. While he’s not much of a DFS play, this does help Stefon Diggs who is very much in play against a below average secondary.

Landry Jones has exited the game with a foot injury and it looks like Ben Roethlisberger will enter in his place. This is good news for those who took a chance on players like Antonio Brown – bad news for those who gambled on Jones.

With Sanders likely to sit, look for a huge volume day from Demaryius Thomas. He’s playable in all formats against a suspect Chiefs secondary that had major issues early in the season. Bennie Fowler is likely the main beneficiary in terms of playing time, with Andre Caldwell also expected to see an increased snap count. Both Fowler and Caldwell are GPP only targets heading into Week 10.

Little doubt that Landry Jones won't start on Sunday
While the Steelers are playing coy with their starting QB, it’s apparent that Landry Jones will be the guy. Ben Roethlisberger is active, but he’s only expected to act as a backup and it’s hard to imagine that he’s healthy enough to play given the injury he sustained last week.

No surprise here, but Megatron is active Sunday against Green Bay. He should be heavily targeted in a game where the Lions are expected to be playing from behind, but all three of the Packers top CBs have graded out well per PFF. This isn’t a great spot for Johnson, but his volume should remain high and his size advantage over the Packers corners may play into his favor. Treat him as a high upside GPP target.
As reported by: Rotoworld Ben Roethlisberger active, but will backup for Landry Jones
While Big Ben is active, he’s just going to act as Landry Jones’ backup. The entire Pittsburgh passing attack takes a step backwards without Roethlisberger at the helm, so Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant are best targeted in GPPs until Big Ben returns. Jones is in play as a punt option at QB, but his ceiling is certainly limited despite a bevy of playmakers at his disposal.

Green-Beckham should see a nice increase in his snap count and can be targeted as a GPP play given his ability to contribute in the red-zone. The Titans offense in general is not a place we look often for DFS purposes, but they should be playing from behind most of the day and will need to throw to stay competitive. Justin Hunter and Harry Douglas will also see the field plenty with Wright out of action.

Cobb was activated from IR this week but is apparently not healthy enough to suit up. His presence will likely eat into the workload of Antonio Andrews, who has taken the reins as the Titans lead back over the past few weeks. Andrews should see a healthy workload again today with Dexter McCluster helping out on third down/passing downs. Bishop Sankey is clearly out of the rotation and may not end up playing a snap against Carolina.
