Wind to be a problem for OAK/MIN passing game?
Per RotoGrinders meteorologist Kevin Roth, winds may be a problem for the Oakland and Minnesota passing games. A wind advisory is in place through tonight, which does not set up well for the likes of Stefon Diggs and Amari Cooper/Michael Crabtree. Despite the great spot for Diggs, he’s best targeted in tournaments at this point with the weather being a concern. For more weather updates, check out the RG weather post sourced below.

Knile Davis inactive for Week 10
What a fall from grace Davis has had as Charles’ top backup. With Charcandrick West rolling with the starting gig, Davis was limited to change of pace reps and will apparently give way to Spencer Ware as the #2 RB behind West. None of the Chiefs RBs are particularly strong DFS plays given the extremely tough matchup with Denver’s defense, and West’s workload isn’t expected to change with Davis inactive.

This is actually good news for Allen Robinson, who should see a little less defensive attention with Hurns on the field. 2015 has been great to both Hurns and Robinson, who have exploded along with quarterback Blake Bortles. The Ravens are one of the best matchups for opposing QBs, allowing the 2nd most fantasy points to the position. They’re one of just two teams allowing an average of over 300 yards and 2 TDs to QBs on the year.

It seems like ASJ has been questionable for weeks now, but he’ll need at least another week to be healthy to play. Vincent Jackson is also out, which leaves Mike Evans as one of the best bets for double-digit targets heading into Week 10. Evans saw 19 targets last week with these two out and as the only viable pass catcher on the roster he’s expected to see a big workload again today.

Miami’s top corner Brent Grimes is inactive Sunday vs. Philly. Grimes’ absence should make the sledding easier for Philly’s outside receivers, but none of them are DFS worthy options. Jordan Matthews is the only Eagles receiver worth considering and he sees most of his time in the slot. With Nelson Agholor back, the rotation behind Matthews will be somewhat in flux.

While he’s tentatively expected to play, we saw him suit up and not play a snap back in Week 8. Brown is a very risky Week 10 DFS play against a strong Seattle secondary; a bad matchup coupled with a nagging injury is never a good equation for fantasy success. Michael Floyd will pick up extra snaps if Brown is unable to go, but he’s nothing more than a GPP punt even as the starter opposite Larry Fitzgerald.

Marshawn Lynch is likely to end up as a game-time decision on Sunday night vs. Arizona. In the event that he’s unable to play, look for Thomas Rawls to eat up most of the early down work with Fred Jackson helping out in passing down duties. None of the Seahawks RBs would be particularly strong plays against a very stout Arizona front seven.

Matt Forte will not play Sunday because of a knee injury. Jeremy Langford will get most of the carries with Ka’Deem Carey also getting some. Langford has a nice price, but is a GPP play only. The matchup against the Rams defense is not favorable.

Eddie Lacy inactive
Eddie Lacy has been listed as inactive. This opens up two of the better value plays of the day in James Starks and Davante Adams who should see the field plenty in a great match up against the Lions.
Michael Crabtree, Stefon Diggs provide solid value at WR
Crabtree’s price continues to be far too low on FanDuel despite a consistent stretch of plus fantasy performances. You are basically getting a #1 WR (in terms of targets) in what has turned out to be a very strong passing offense at $6,400, something you don’t see too often. Crabtree lines up all over the field so it’s tough to peg his CB matchup, but he’s likely to see plenty of Terence Newman and Xavier Rhodes, both of whom have graded out poorly in coverage. Stefon Diggs had a down week against St. Louis, but that was to be expected in a really rough spot. Oakland’s secondary isn’t anywhere as close to as tough as the Rams’, which we saw last week when Antonio Brown finished with over 300 total yards against them. Diggs is an excellent bounce-back candidate and can be targeted in cash games confidently.
Emmanuel Sanders ankle "really sore", questionable vs. Chiefs
Emmanuel Sanders is dealing with a nagging ankle injury and may end up being a game-time decision tomorrow. He’s a very risky DFS target if he suits up, and Demaryius Thomas is likely to see some extra targets head his way regardless of Sanders’ status. In the event that Sanders sits, some combination of Bennie Fowler and Andre Caldwell would fill his role. If it’s announced that one of them gets the start, he’d be the preferred DFS option. The trio of Denver tight ends may also see a few extra looks as a result.

Eddie Lacy has been listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game and Ty Montgomery has been downgraded to doubtful. This opens up two of the better value plays of the day in James Starks and Davante Adams who should see the field plenty in a great match up against the Lions.

Peyton Manning has a rib cage injury, probable for Sunday
Not a huge concern other than affecting his ability to throw the ball downfield but Peyton Manning was added to the injury report with a rib cage injury. He is probable for Sunday.

This was generally what was expected coming into the week, but it was surprising to see Roethlisberger log any practice time. Landry Jones will draw the start at QB against the Browns, who are a much easier team to beat on the ground, setting up DeAngelo Williams for another nice game. Jones’ presence as the starting QB vastly downgrades the upside of Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant. Both should be treated as GPP plays until Big Ben returns.

There doesn’t appear to be much doubt that he’ll suit up, but he’s lost the role of the Packers top back to James Starks, although the two are still expected to split work. Lacy is not a DFS option this week, while Starks is in play as a GPP option in the mid-to-low range of the RB pool. Green Bay shouldn’t have much trouble getting past Detroit, so game flow would appear to play into Starks’ favor.
