: Corbin has never rebounded from his injuries completely and this is a Cubs team I simply do not roster pitchers against if I can help it. The hard hit percentage is through the rough and that means you should be loading up on the Chicago side of this one.

: Even the human form of Arrieta is better than most pitchers in the league. He remains one of the top options every single time he takes the mound and with that offense behind him the win bonus is in play very often as well. Ultimately I think we have some better price per dollar options but you can never feel bad about Arrieta leading your lineups.
Batter Grind Down
Arizona
Diamondbacks: This Arizona squad has been struggling at the plate over the past couple weeks and that is not what you want to see when in Chicago against Arrieta. Don’t get me wrong there is plenty of pop in the order but the inconsistency is too much and I cannot recommend playing too many across your lineups here.

Chicago Cubs
Cubs: By now it is no secret that the Cubs are one of the best offenses in baseball and with a date against Corbin you can expect them to put up some runs here. The pricing is high enough that we have seen a modest ownership for most of the season and with some high priced pitching options taking the mound this could be an overlooked stack.

: He is one of those pitchers that falls into the better than people realize category. The problem here is that he is up against a Tigers squad who is built to hit left handed pitching and finally seem to be putting it together at the plate recently. His price is too high for me to consider him today as a primary option and that limits him to more of a flier tournament play.

: Well I was way wrong on Verlander early in the season as he was someone that I targeted with hitters often. He has the strikeout potential once again and the walks which had plagued him have been cleaned up a bit recently. This is a White Sox team that is not that great offensively so Verlander should be considered one of the better options on the day. It really comes down to pricing as his DraftKings salary is a bit more than I would have liked to see.

Chicago White Sox
White Sox: Outside of this White Sox lineup has struggled on the season ranking near the bottom in most of the key statistical categories we look at. It is a case of a few guys under performing more so than a complete lack of potential. All things considered I would not reach on too many of these bats today.

Tigers: The Tigers also rank near the bottom of every category we look at but the main difference is that the bats have woke up over the past few weeks. Just about everyone has been contributing to their success at the plate and I love the order they have rolled out the past two days with in the second spot with protection from Miggy and VMart.

Chris Young: This will be Youngs first start since returning from the DL and while he has looked good out of the bullpen in a couple appearances this will be a completely different animal. : I like Kluber a lot moving forward but the Royals are still a pain to opposing pitchers. Kluber does strikeout a fair amount of hitters but Kansas City is one of the more pesky teams in that department making him a little less attractive. Where Kluber makes the most sense to be is tournaments because I feel there is a wide range of outcomes for him today.

Royals: Not the most imposing lineup you will see in terms of putting up huge numbers in a hurry, the Royals are not the greatest offense for DFS purposes. Sure they have a couple of guys in the middle of the lineup you can look at but overall the way this team manufactures runs does not lend itself to great fantasy production.

Indians: The Indians are hitting the longball a lot more lately which has been great for us fantasy players. : The Mets claimed to have found a mechanical flaw with his delivery prior to his last outing against the White Sox. All he did is go seven innings with six strikeouts and only allowing three base runners. Sure it was a bad offensive team but that is exactly what we have here today as well. With his pricing I have no problem running Harvey out there as a top secondary option on multiple pitcher sites. Considering the matchup with Fernandez it is a lot more risky on single pitcher sites due to the win bonus being harder to obtain.

: Fernandez is striking out everyone right now and after eleven starts has an unreal 36% strikeout rate. As long as he can keep the walks to a minimum the potential to be the highest scorer on the slate is there for him. The Mets are a better offense than they have shown to this point but getting them during the struggle just adds icing to the cake here.
Batter Grind Down
NY Mets
Mets: When is a bat that you are celebrating it is not a good time for your team offensively. There is a solid amount of potential sprinkled in this lineup but for the most part they are banged up or just missing key hitters. With Fernandez on the mound I do not have a lot of interest here.

Miami
Marlins: This Miami offense is one that you can consider sneaky. They do not rank that well in any statistical category when trying to measure their threat level but do have a few hitters that can hurt you. While I do like Harvey today it would be foolish not to have some Marlins exposure if you are running out multiple tournament lineups today considering his struggles on the season.

: Roark is a fringe secondary play today against Reds lineup that while not good is starting to hit the ball a bit lately. The main problem with Tanner is that he does not strike out enough batters which lowers upside and makes it harder to mask any earned runs he would give up. I do not hate the idea of him on multiple pitcher sites but just know he is not going to post a huge number.

Nationals: It has been a struggle for the Nationals bats against this year ranking in the middle of most major categories against right handed pitching on the year. This is a situation where we can load up a bit more than normal as Moscot is simply one of the worst pitchers in the league right now.

Cincinnati
Reds: This Cincinnati squad has quietly been pretty solid over the past couple weeks and they are getting production from all over. With the limited strikeout potential of Roark and the sometimes questionable walk rate this is a Reds team that should be under the radar and make for a solid target in tournaments today.
