Carlos Rodon: It is a tricky situation with Rodon, who had been great up until his last couple of starts. Not only does he have solid upside, but the pitching options are limited here today. With that said, it probably is not the best idea to pick on an Indians squad who just seem to hit no matter the situation.

White Sox: This team reminds me a lot of the Royals in that they do not have a ton of fantasy potential outside of a couple bats, and while they may score runs here, it is not likely to produce a huge amount of fantasy points.

Indians: The Indians just find a way to get things done offensively, and while the projected lineup chart may not look all that pretty, we can certainly dip into this lineup today for some plays. I would focus more on tournaments if we are going to stack Indians, but even some exposure in cash is okay.

Mets: It is a dogfight for the wild card in the NL this season and these are the types of games New York cannot afford to lose if they want to hold on to their spot. They have the lefty bats that should hit Thompson today, but it has been a bit of a struggle lately for this squad.

With that said the pitching pool is so shallow he pops up as one of the better options on the board today. There is plenty of risk here, but the price is fair and I prefer him as a secondary option on multiple pitcher sites.

A.J. Cole: As it is today these are two of the better pitchers on the board but both raise concern with just how long their managers will allow them to pitch. Cole had a decent game going last time out but was only afforded the opportunity to pitch four innings causing fantasy owners to scream at their television. Just understand with both of these guys that risk is real even if they are not getting blown up.

Tyler Glasnow: He has been pitching out of the pen and will make the start today at home against the Nats. This is a very similar situation to Cole in that I do not trust the managers in this game to let either pitcher go too long which creates a fair amount of risk when selecting them. Each have solid upside, but does that outweigh the risk? I am not so sure.

Nationals: This Washington offense has been all over the place this season, and while the talent is there the production is just so spotty. I mainly stick to the top of the order if I am stacking bats from Washington, and that seems to be the best option again today.

Pirates: So now the Pirates decide to hit the baseball. Sure, they dealt with some injuries this season (still are really) but this is a squad that had been vastly underperforming up until the home stretch. With the way things had gone for them people simply do not like to play Pirates which could be a great thing today in tournaments.

This is a situation where you actually have to consider him with the decent production he is putting out for the price point he holds. I would not dare roll him out on a single pitcher site but as a secondary option you can do worse today.
