: Although he has pitched pretty well over his last few starts, there is no reason to start Dickey against this Red Sox lineup who are firing on all cylinders. Rogers Centre has always favored the hitters, and as such, we probably want some bats from both sides of this game with emhasis on the Boston side of things.
Batter Grind Down
Boston
The Red Sox come in as the best offense in the entire league against right-handed pitching, and while they do carry a high salary, we want to be sure to grab some exposure here against . All you have to do is take a look at those wOBA numbers over the last 14 to get an idea of just how good this team is right now. I will likely have some exposure to each of the first seven batters in the lineup, including Hanley in tournaments, who will probably be the least owned of the bunch.

Toronto
Despite having several hitters that handle left-handed pitching well throughout their careers, Toronto actually ranks in the middle of the pack against left-handed pitching in wOBA, ISO, and wRC+ against them. With Price on the mound for the Red Sox, we should not see a very high ownership for much of this lineup and that sets them up as a sneaky tournament stack if you are running out multiple lineups.

: On the surface it may look like Tillman has been pitching pretty darn good over his last few starts. Dig a little deeper and you find that he might be getting a bit lucky. Consider his increased FB% and the fact that his hard hit percentage is near 40% in those starts, and it screams of a guy who was on the plus side of BABIP and is likely to see some regression. On a slate like this, I want no part of Tillman unless you are trying to squeeze bats on a multiple-pitcher site, but even then you are risking it.

: He sure is cheap, but there is no way we should take a guy who is facing a top five offense in the league against right-handed pitching with the numbers he has posted through his first two starts. When you consider those poor starts were against the White Sox and the Reds, it paints a huge target on him as someone I want to attack with hitters.

Baltimore
Baltimore feels like a sleeping giant and still ranks in the top five of wOBA ISO and wRC+ against right handers, which is saying something. It is interesting because the pricing on DraftKings feels right, while if you play on FanDuel there are some discounts to be had at the top of the order. This is a case where I am hoping recent performance earns them lower ownership percentages because the Orioles are one of my favorite offenses on the day.

Cleveland
I touched on the fact that Tillman should see some regression moving forward and this Indians squad is more than capable of helping him on his way. Cleveland is sneaky good on offense as they continue to climb the ladder in multiple categories offensively, and while has always been known as a player we want to use against left handers, he is proving his worth against all pitchers lately. The price for is more than fair on both of the major sites and is the player I want the most from this Indians squad today.

: Typically I would have Eovaldi as a secondary play on multiple-pitcher sites depending on the price point, but this Tampa offense has had things working at the plate as of late. His price on DraftKings is too much for me, but if you can find him at a more reasonable salary, I do not hate the idea of using him as a secondary option in tournaments. I am on the fence with him and it really comes down to salary for the site you are playing on, but he is out of the picture on the big two today.

: Here we go again. Most of the time Odorizzi would be on my radar as a secondary option, but in his case, the recent performances really have me worried. We have seen a spike in walks as well as a dip in strikeouts ,which is no bueno for the fantasy world. Already giving up a high hard hit rate, we need to see something from him before he can be trusted again.

NY Yankees
This is a game where you want to pick and choose your hitters as I do not think a stack will get it done for us. has not only been swinging a hot bat, but also has the career numbers to back it up, making him an easy guy to single out of this Yankees lineup. Outside of that, it really would come down to value and I am just not feeling it here.

: Wacha has been very disappointing to Cardinals fans this season and the numbers show why. Not only have we seen the strikeout numbers go down more as the season goes on, but the walks have crept up as a serious issue. On a full slate and facing a Nationals lineup that is capable of being much better than the numbers suggest, I have zero interest in Wacha as a fantasy option today.

: This is a great matchup as we see Strasburg — who is clearly one of the top pitchers in the league this season — against one of the best offenses against right-handed pitching. So far in the series we have seen the Cardinals get the best of both and but I think Strasburg gets the job done today. With an elite strikeout rate he can mask some earned runs, and in my opinion has a solid chance at the win bonus here. On a slate with Kershaw and Sale it will be interesting to see how the percentages shake out today.

There has been some timely hitting in this series so far, and while I do like the Cardinals offense overall, it just has not clicked like we saw earlier in the year. You might think that sounds crazy considering they scored fifteen runs in the series so far, but that is on sixteen hits. Strasburg is a guy I do not want to mess around with, and as such, you want to limit your exposure.

With Wacha allowing some hard contact lately, this is a Nationals team primed to score some runs today and avoid the sweep. We have all the typical suspects in the middle of the order available to us here but even a guy like leading off is in play for me despite some pretty meh numbers. There pricing is not bad overall so grabbing some exposure should not be an issue.

: A low strikeout rate combined with a high walk rate has me saying no thanks to Finnegan even against a Brewers lineup that I would normal want to attack. There are simply too many other options for us to consider a pitcher like Finnegan today.

: This should be a case where Nelson is able to neutralize this Reds lineup who do not have the ability to plug a bunch of left handed batters in. His price on DraftKings is a bit too high but I like him as a secondary pitcher on other multiple pitcher sites today. Do not go crazy with exposure but overall I think he might be one of the more sneaky options on this slate.

This lineup could be in some serious trouble today as Nelson is very effective against right handed bats and they are not exactly tearing it up at the plate. Limiting ourselves to the two big left handed bats and possibly a guy like Duvall who can do damage in a hurry but even that feels like a stretch here.

The Brewers have a solid matchup the question is whether or not they are able to take advantage of it here. is always in play against left handed pitching and to be quite honest a stack with anyone one through six could prove to be very wise if running out multiple lineups today.
