    Oooooh I like that graph!

Starting next week, I’ll add another bar that shows a team’s PPG compared to their implied total for the week.

Hey Noto, Really appreciate everything you put out. What numbers would you consider to be blue, green, yellow for Implied Team Totals? THX!

  • JustRaze

I wonder if any 2 particular games will be chalkier than the rest…

Will this week’s DVOA only include Week 1? … Or hopefully still include last year’s #‘s — bc 1 week sample size obviously not that helpful?

  • Blocky

Will there be anything on pace of play or plays per game this year?

  • ebaptiste

    I agree, nice graph!

  • deaddogseye

could the graph also include the reference to the teams line in the game? So you see New England 30.5 / +6.5? That would be real helpful

  • ForrestGump

I know everyone said it, but the graph is perfect.

DVOA is updated for the week. It only includes Week 1. It’s obviously not too reliable, but the same can be said for last year’s stats. For now, just treat DVOA as a secondary stat until we get a few weeks into the season.

Yes, I will make a table for pace of play after Week 2.

  • pwiz

This is my first time looking that this chart, so its kind of a learning curve for me. Does the higher total dvoa mean the opposing does not have a great defense against the offense in the first column?

  • Marked4Awin

Seattle D is 29 and 26th in Rush/Rush(pass) DVOA? Is this a typo?
Held Ty Montgomery to 2.8 yrds per carry. Huh?

  • TheJuPrint

I prefer last season’s format which also included DvP data. The graph is a little busy and doesn’t provide much in the way of new information. Just my opinion. As always, I appreciate all the hard work you do and look forward to this season!
