Welcome to another edition of the NFL First Look. The goal of this article is to get you prepared for Week 6 as early as possible. As always, I will update the statistics in the tables below as that information is published throughout the week. I am considering adding a DvP table that is adjusted for the quality of opponents. If that is something that you would find helpful, let me know and I will try to add it later in the week.

Week 5 Thoughts

ARI: David Johnson is a monster that needs to be fed, regardless of the health of Carson Palmer.
— SF: Targeting players against the Niners is almost as good as targeting players against the Saints.
— NE: Tom Brady’s best two weapons were hobbled and he still threw for 406 yards and three touchdowns. He’s never hear of the term ‘rust.’
CLE: Isaiah Crowell remains a great talent, but it’s hard to target a player on such a bad offense.
PHI: The Eagles are better than we thought they would be, but not as good as pundits were making them out to be when they were 3-0.
DET: If Theo Riddick continues to see 10+ rushes to go along with the passing down work, he’s going to be a great play moving forward.
CHI: Brian Hoyer is the Bears’ starter moving forward and Cameron Meredith is going to have a big role in this offense with Kevin White out.
IND: T.Y. Hilton is not a boom or bust GPP play. He has one of the highest floors and ceilings of any receiver each and every week.
TEN: We finally saw some life from Marcus Mariota. However, DeMarco Murray remains the best offensive weapon for the Titans.
MIA: The Dolphins need a healthy Arian Foster to be competitive.
WAS/BAL: Wind plays a huge role in fantasy production, mainly for quarterbacks, receivers, and kickers.
BAL: Terrance West led the Ravens’ backfield in snaps, but it’s tough to trust him with in a timeshare with Buck Allen and Kenneth Dixon.
HOU: The Texans (and specifically Brock Osweiler) have looked bad on the road. Keep that in mind moving forward.
MIN: The Vikings have one of the best defenses in football and they have one of the best home field advantages as well.
NYJ: Any time we expect Brandon Marshall to see a ton of targets, use him in DFS. Just do it.
PIT: The Steelers’ offense has too many weapons. They are going to win people GPPs almost every week, especially when they are at home.
ATL: Tevin Coleman and Devonta Freeman may be the best one-two punch in the NFL.
DEN: The Broncos lost at home, but they will be just fine when Trevor Siemian returns to the lineup.
CIN: Andy Dalton needs to force feed A.J. Green the ball. Their offense isn’t the same when he’s not getting targets.
DAL: All of the talk about Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott is warranted, but the Cowboys’ offensive line deserves a ton of credit.
BUF: If Lesean McCoy was the primary goal line back, he would be a top running back play every week. Vultures are the worst.
STL: Todd Gurley is going to break out and have a big game, but the Rams need to be playing with a lead for that to happen.
— SD: The Chargers are allergic to winning.
OAK: There are too many bodies in the Raiders’ backfield for DFS purposes. Derek Carr and the wideouts remain the best fantasy targets.
NYG: Odell Beckham may have only caught five passes, but he had a 34% market share against the Packers.
— GB: Sunday night may have been a sign of things to come for Randall Cobb.
